“I go here every time I visit family in NY. Their chocolate/peanut butter soft serve twist is delish! It's very creamy, and their portions are HUGE!!!! A small is the size of a large at other ice cream stands! You must try it - I promise, you WON'T be disappointed.“

“1157 is the Best! Not only does the Chef, Andy prepare fabulous food, the wait staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and can help you make choices that will really suit your tastes. The Lobster Bisque I had for Valentines was Fabulous and Andy’s soups are always hearty and satisfying. This is truly a fine dinning or anytime treat in Elmira.“

“As far back as I can remember , Bernie Murray’s has been the spot for wings , for my entire life if you wanted a freaking endless buffet of chicken bananzas wingfest in the entire world , well maybe just where ever this place is !!! “Good atmosphere. Was a busy brunch crowd but we were sat quickly. Delicious bloody Mary’s! Menu had a variety of selections but They were sold out of the quiche. Food was good. They have a great outdoor seating area that would be enjoyable during the summer months.

“The choices of food are great but portion size could be a bit larger. I noticed any pasta is a smaller size at lunch time than dinner time. A few years ago my husband ordered chicken and shrimp alfredo and the shrimp and chicken were undercooked and raw. It's not our place of choice but we had gift cards and used them.“

“Very good local spot to have a quick lunch and chat. My wife and I ordered sandwiches and 2 bowls of their special ‘chicken and wild rice’ soup. Absolutely delicious! The service was awesome and the servers were super friendly.“
