“I recently visited Oasis Ramen with my niece and nephew while they were in town, and it turned out to be a great choice. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a smile, which set the tone for a pleasant experience.

The food came out quickly, which was perfect since we had two hungry teenagers with us. The ramen itself was excellent—the broth was rich, flavorful, served piping hot and everything tasted fresh and well prepared.

Overall, it was an easy, enjoyable dining experience with great service and quality food. I’d definitely recommend Oasis Ramen to anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a welcoming atmosphere.“

“I'll try to keep this to the point —

I gave Food/Service/Atmosphere 5 🌟 because they were on par for me. For a local spot, this really took me by surprise.

What I ordered:

Miso Soup:
Standard Miso Soup, nothing groundbreaking, but very tasty. Would have loved a tad more tofu & scallion, but that's just me.

Salmon Avocado Hand roll:
Not the hand roll I expected meaning it wasn't in the cone shape I'm familiar with, but it came presented like a taco with the seaweed as the shell. Salmon cuts were huge, and with great colour, avocado was bright & ripe, coupled with the perfect amount of rice. Everything tasted clean, and fresh.

Yellowtail Jalapeno Nigiri:
I messed up with this, originally I wanted a sushi roll, but my brain flubbed. Great mistake though, because the yellowtail was delicious, practically melted in my mouth, topped with a delicate cut of jalapeno on top.

Love Milk Tea:
Honestly, just a really delicious milk tea topped with osmanthus flower. It was light, refreshing, and not too sweet thankfully.

Wagyu Tataki:
Tataki is meant to be briefly seared on the outside, but the center remains raw. Was this seared to the degree I wanted? No. But, was it delicious? Yes. And the meat was incredibly tender, flavour of the sauces really complimented everything on the plate.

I finished off with a matcha cheesecake to go, I'm sure it'll be good.

With tip, I spent $67

Again, for a local spot in Richmond Hill/Kew Gardens, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Personally, with slight adjustments, these folks would do great in midtown. I spent a little under what I would spend at a restaurant in the city, and got an incredibly satisfying meal, and left full.“

“I’ve had been to different locations of this restaurant and all of them do not disappoint. I think that this location has a very nice atmosphere because of the cubicles as well as the larger seating areas. The food is always good and the portions are reasonable for the price you pay. There is always a combo meal that gives you a ramen aside and a drink for a cheaper price so I think that is always good as well as they do have seasonal desserts.“

“My sister and I went to the Regal Movie which is across the from Ni Ramen. We gad the Duck Lychee Curry which was very tender. We also had the Kha Soi which wss very flavorful. We enjoyed the Melon soda. We will be back. Staff very professional.“

“Great ramen spot in the Forest Hills neighborhood. The flavors feel like an authentic taste of Japanese cuisine. The ramen broths I tried (Shoyu & Tantan) were rich & comforting, and everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in the area and craving good japanese food.“

“Come check out the Star Cafe! My cousin recently visited here and said his order was the "chef's kiss" - not to mention the ambiance and friendly service the staff provided! The price might be high but you definitely get your money's worth!

“This spot is a neighborhood GEM. I hope the people living here know this. Best Sushi and sashimi for miles around. Solid everytime. The fish is kept well and served well. The store has about 6 tables but they are never packed. But while I dine in the takeout orders are endless. This man can handle it all and still can chat with you.I wish I lived nearby.... I used the buy-one-get-one-free deal to try their Chicken Shoyu Ramen, which had subtle, balanced flavors and was very well prepared. The ramen came al dente—perfect for reheating without the noodles getting soggy. I also appreciated that they packed the noodles and toppings in a separate compartment from the broth to keep everything fresh. For the affordable price, the food and the deal were excellent.“
