“My recent dining experience at this venue was truly delightful. The calamari was the best I have ever had, and it was followed by an impressive sirloin and a sesame tuna steak that was cooked just right. I was so engrossed in savoring the meal that I didn't even think to take any pictures.“

“On the advice of a friend who regularly visits Fire Island, our family of eight, including a four-year-old and an infant, had an amazing dinner experience at Albatross tonight. I was somewhat apprehensive because the restaurant's Google rating was lower than that of another restaurant where we had had a disappointing lunch the first day of our stay. So I wanted to write my five-star review as soon as possible.

Our positive experience began when we dropped by during the afternoon to get the hostess's advice on how to procure a table for eight people -- without a reservation! -- on a busy Saturday night. She told us that if we came before 6:00 they would probably be able to accommodate us.

This is exactly what happened. When we arrived we were immediately seated at a comfortable table near the window. The attentive waitstaff quickly took our drink orders and, shortly thereafter, our meal orders.

I was worried that our small children might become difficult while we ate two courses (starters and a main course). However, our server brought our starters quickly, and the main course soon after clearing our dishes from the first course. The timing was perfect!

The food was perfect, too. I enjoyed my New England clam chowder, one of the best versions I've tasted. The table shared top-notch oysters, steamers, fried calamari, and Buffalo wings. Our mains, which included grilled fish, linguine with white clam sauce, and penne with vodka source and grilled shrimp, were uniformly excellent, with quality ingredients and preparation. For example, the grilled broccoli that accompanied my barramundi was so flavorful that it transcended the norm for this standard vegetable.

With our meal we enjoyed a bottle of white wine at a fair price.

This review may sound too favorable to be true, but it accurately describes our experience. I recommend Albatross wholeheartedly.“

We had the short rib special, the sea bass and the swordfish entrees and they were delicious! “My boyfriend and I dined this past Saturday at Tellers to celebrate his birthday. We made a reservation ahead of time and because of this we were seated immediately upon arrival at a cute corner table inside of the Gold Bar section. Although it was a bit crowded at the bar thankfully the noise level wasn't too bad. Our server Robert was amazing from the beginning and made the experience that much better! The food was absolutely delicious!! We both got filets that were cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were so creamy and smooth and the five cheese Mac was my favorite for sure, it was so flavorful and luscious. I believe it was one of the managers that checked in on us mid meal and made sure everything was to our liking, which it was beyond our expectations. Robert made sure our glasses were always full and that we had such a great time! 10/10 will be returning to dine again soon!!“

Skilled bartenders pouring great drinks (rocket fuels with the actual correct ingredients, unlike other establishments on the island!) Fun environment with live music on the weekend. Just steps from the beach too! Nothing better on a hot beach day!“

“It was my first time there. My parents have been there before and suggested we stop for a bite! We tried about five different slices! OMG....the deep dish with pepperoni was AMAZING!! I decided to order a whole tray and take it home! We stopped by around 2:30. They didn't have any table service, so you ordered and brought it to your table. We didn't wait long for our food. “I’ve been coming here with my family for the past 3 years. We grab a bite here with a few drinks after a day at the beach. There’s live music and good food. My first few visits I had the same server named Annie! Now I request her every time. I come in with a party over 8 every time and she’s always on point! Annie is great and I hope to continue coming here and having her as my server. She provides amazing service every single time and never is rude. Definitely recommend tiki joes as a place for families.“

“I have severe allergies and my nephew suggested Claws. I have to say Chris and Frank were excellent in educating me and helping me and going out of their way for me. Their seafood is fresh and delicious. I actually drive further to go to them and pass other seafood stores on my way, but they are definitely worth a trip. All of the staff is accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful.“
