The store had a variety of different selections. The customer service was immaculate. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable as well. The store was very clean and organized. “One of my favorite places in the whole Hudson Valley. The Dutchess Biercafe brings delicious bites and sips in virtually every single of their menu items. Too many things I like here to describe but I’ll give you my top 2:

The poutine is to die for and if you add a runny egg on top it’s somehow even better. The pretzel is perfection. It’s warm, soft, and the beer cheese they give you with it is perfectly balanced.“

“Not sure how long this place has been around but we just noticed it and decided to take my son here for his birthday. There were so many options on the menu it was a tough decision to pick. It seems to be a halal place mixed with American fair. They had items like chicken or lamb over rice but also had like burgers, chicken tender, fries and many other things. The place is kind of small so minimal season. Each table is bar style height with only 4 chairs per table. So if you have a big group I’m not sure this would be the best place. But you could always ask before hand and see what they say.

The food was fresh and tasty. The service was great they were patient and answered any questions we had about the menu. Is it fine dining? No. But as I said everything was fresh and it’s a good treat especially it’s food all kids are satisfied eating. The only thing I wish is they had a different bun selection. They had like brioche buns which are so thick especially for kids. A nice martins or any type of potato buns go best with smash burgers. I feel like brioche is just a big filler that’s not needed for a good burger. The employee did come to check on us which is nice.

As for the games it’s older games and even though my kids are young and play all these new crazy graphic games they didn’t complain. It kept them busy as we waited for the food. They sipped on their cookies and cream shakes which were also a hit.

Anyone with that much time on their hands to whine about the farm and rustic tables (which didn’t phase us whatsoever and we were happy to have a place to sit outside to enjoy the live music) is not the type that should be visiting Obercreek. There are plenty of industrial breweries in the area to check out. If you expect a farm setting, that’s what you’ll get here. The beers we had were enjoyable. “This months flavor is a mint mocha. I do have a sweet tooth and will admit coffee here is more of a treat for me. I see it as a caffeinated dessert. So I do enjoy coming by every now and then. My husband got the shake and he likes sweet drinks but in his opinion the salted caramel still had a coffee taste to him.“

“I would have to respectfully disagree with Chris Parker. I went to Braised Pies for the first time on Tuesday specifically to have the Cornish Pastie and I thought it was absolutely delicious. My mother was from England so I've had many pasties in my trips over there and this brought back the flavors that I remembered. I will definitely be making a return trip.“

“We stopped here for the first time to try a new place. It's a small restaurant but very nice. The staff were all super friendly and really put effort in. The menu has a lot of different items you don't find anywhere else. The specials were all unique and hard to choose between so many great choices. I got my meal and they forgot to put an item that came with it. The staff fixed it immediately and took some money off the bill so they go out of their way to make sure things are right. My wife had the waffle and that was cooked perfectly as well. We will definitely be back to try out the other food items on the menu.“

“Wow! What a hidden gem. This place is located inside the shops at South hills, back by Orange theory. It was a little difficult to find at first, but this is an absolute must try in the Poughkeepsie area! Their products are made with all fresh ingredients, and they even grind their own peanut butter fresh daily, which I found out they also jar and sell! This place is Chic and clean and the service was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be coming back!“

“A friend from New York gave me a bag of Espresso Blend. I live in Cincinnati and have a local roaster as my go to. When I switched to Trax I was able to pull a really nice shot the first time and every time since over 3 days and it's awesome espresso. Smooth with just the right balance.“

Malt shake with cookies and cream is a knocked out. Literally. The patron fell asleep right after finishing it. I tried the mint chip ice cream which was so yummy. I ended up sharing the pistachio and banana cream pie. Enjoyed real pistachios and my favorite part was the banana cream pie! So good!! Would visit again on a hot summer day.“
