“I was looking for a place where I could sit with a friend (or 2), that served coffee and tasty food, that had power outlets for customer use, within walking distance from the 7 subway in downtown Flushing. I have been going to Busy Bee Coffee almost weekly for 2 months. As long as I or my friend need a power outlet and the coffee/drinks are available, I'll keep coming and recommending this place. Thank you for a great landing place.“

“A lovely café with a nice, relaxing environment and simple yet elegant décor. The vibe is calm and inviting—perfect for unwinding or enjoying a quiet moment. I tried the matcha latte and absolutely loved it; the balance between the milk and matcha was just right, smooth and not overpowering. The avocado sandwich was also delicious and very satisfying. A great spot to relax and enjoy quality drinks and food. Highly recommend!“

“I always come here to study, and each time, the service is phenomenal! The workers always have a smile on their faces and seem very enthusiastic. The strawberry matcha is also very good.

And one of the baristas complimented my hair! She wrote it on my cup and it made my day haha, and her strawberry drawings were really cute.“

“We don’t even know how many times we’ve been here 😂 It’s definitely one of our go-to matcha spots in Flushing! We always get the matcha latte because it’s consistently so good and we never get tired of it. 🍵🤍

We also tried the mango sticky rice drink and the jasmine matcha latte, and both were sooo good! The mango sticky rice drink is such a fun and unique combination, while the jasmine matcha latte has such a nice floral flavor.

Definitely recommend trying them if you’re here! Everything is super refreshing and worth it. We’ll definitely keep coming back! 💚“

The best thing I’ve ever tried! I’m actually addicted. The sweet cold foam on top is amazing! Just make sure you mix it so it can be evenly sweetened. I also like the salted caramel latte I just wish it was slightly creamier but the presentation is perfect! It has like a chunk of honey comb in it.“

Visited Off Peak Coffee and loved the balance of flavors.

Here’s what we tried:
Pistachio Latte (4.5/5): Perfectly balanced and full of rich pistachio flavor without being overwhelming

Dirty Yuzu (4/5): A really interesting combination. It has a nice, subtle tang from the yuzu that works surprisingly well, and it’s thankfully not overly sweet

Black Sesame Latte (4.5/5): Smooth, well-balanced, and hits just the right level of sweetness

“Came here around 10:30pm at night looking for a matcha latte. I was confused at first because it looks like a hotpot spot. So it seems like it’s three different stores in one. Along with Cotto Coffee, they also serve BK lemon and Mala Siblings Hotpot. They have the two different beverage spot menus posted by the cashier. I was able to easily order off the Cotto menu at the late hour even thought people were mostly there for the hotpot. Iced matcha latte was good. One of the cashiers quickly made it for me and asked me for my specifications (milk, sugar level if I wanted sugar). It was the little pick me up I needed.“

It literally doesnt matter what espresso drink you get, latte, cappuccino, flat white, flavors, no flavors...it doesnt matter because theyre espresso is so top notch that every drink is a guaranteed hit. Id love for them to expand as long as they dont lost their quality.“

“Oh! Bagel had fresh and clearly baked bagels the morning I got it. The bagel skin was thin yet crisp when I bit through it, but the inside was soft and not overly doughy. The bagel size was good—big enough to hold toppings but still delicious plain! Will definetely come back!“

“Small neighborhood, whole in the wall kind of place. We were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We went before noon and had egg platter breakfast and the tempura udon. Weird combo but worked somehow. Breakfast was good but the udon was sooo good! Brother was delicious! I think it beats many of the udons expensive restaurants. It will be one of our staple places for breakfast“

“I’ve been here several times and keep coming back for the coconut drink. I usually get 50% sugar and it’s just right. If you prefer less sweetness, I’d recommend 30% sugar. The shop was clean, cozy, and beautifully designed. Great drinks and friendly service.“

“ATTENTION: My favorite DIY shop (24/Holdon DIY Studio) just opened in the back of the Angry Birds Cafe in Tangram Mall. I have been to their other location near Skyview Mall. They are owned by a sweet young Chinese couple who are super helpful and kind. Photos are of two music boxes we decorated :) They also do birthday parties! Make sure to stop by and support a local small business. Perfect for kids or a cute date ~“

“Absolutely LOVE this adorable café on Metropolitan Ave in Middle Village! The space is super clean, bright, and welcoming, and you can really tell how much care goes into the place. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind, which makes the experience even better. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for such great quality. “Flushing is known to have too many bubble tea shops. With new ones popping up on every corner every week, it is hard to keep track of them all, much less, trying them. Kung Fu Tea in The Food Hall at Queens Crossing is one of the few bubble tea shops that have remained open for a long period of time. They offer seasonal and limited menu to keep new, and regular, customers interested.

Kung Fu Tea offers various drinks from Milk Tea to Punch and from Slush to Classic. I highly recommend the Rosehip Lemonade. Rosehip is typically tart, fruit, and slightly sweet, but the drink makes it much sweeter with a slight sour lemonade taste. If you are looking for just a sweet treat, I do suggest the Blue Pineapple Punch. Although, I recommend going with 50% sugar as it is very sweet!

If you are not interested in anything sweet, go for their green/black teas. Their Mango Green Tea was a refreshing drink with only a mild bitter from the green tea. Their Thai Milk Tea is also quite bitter. I do understand that Thai Milk Tea is different depending on the store, but I am used to it being sweet, not bitter.

Of course, if you are hungry, I do recommend trying their onigiris! Freshly made, you can order one or two or a combo to satisfy your hunger and thirst. Not just onigiri, but you can also order chicken or ramen with their collaboration with TKK Fried Chicken and Yasubee Authentic Ramen.“

“This place is one of my favorite places to come to for breakfast. Its a korean cafe offering everything you would get at paris baguette and what you would order at a deli. All the counter folks speak both korean and english and theyre courteous. The older korean folks like to come here and gather here in the mornings while a mix of customers for the cakes, breakfast food and their coffees. My only negative is since th egg price hike, theyve doubled everything in price. The prices have gone down and yet, their prices stay the same. All in all, id come back here to treat myself and the family every now and then.“

“I honestly fein for paris baguette’s chicken caesar salad but i almost spent half of my time picking out all the iceberg lettuce from it 🫠.. I wish they could settle down with the amount of iceberg pieces they put and put the croutons seperately so theyre not so soggy. Thats why I absolutely love their salad from the northern blvd location but theyre always sold out😔. “This is probably the best food stall in Tangram’s food court. The food is ok, but the original location in Elmhurst was much better. They have mainly teenagers working here, so the service and quality is sometimes questionable. Nevertheless, all they really need to do is assemble the sandwiches or bowls with pre-cooked ingredients, so the risk isn’t too high. But for the price, and considering the other food stalls aren’t good, Joju is the best option in this food court.“
