The steak, I and my colleague got was lack luster. The steak was not juicy and tasted dry or old cut of meat, I requested medium rare but it was cooked more to medium. They are most known steak but has not shine in that department.

I didn’t give feedback about the steak to staff because I was at business meeting and did not want to ruin the mood.

The steak standard needs to be revisited at this location.“

“Really great experience here. Lauren took care of us and was honestly a huge part of why the night was so enjoyable. Super personable, easy to talk to, and just made us feel really comfortable the whole time. My daughter loved her and keeps asking when we’re going back to see her again .You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys what they do, and it really made the experience stand out. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Only small feedback would be that the substitution charges for pretty much any change were a little annoying.“

“We really enjoyed our experience at Sparks Steakhouse. It was a true Steakhouse through and through. The service was exceptional, and the portions and quality of food were spot on. “5/29 was my first time going to this restaurant for a birthday dinner and they did not disappoint at all. Its like they found a way to blend the astoria night live vibe with the service of formal steak house. Food was great, drinks were good but most of all the service was elite. My server's name was Chris. This man was on point with everything, professional and attentive so if you get the chance ask for Chris you wont be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great food with good music. I will be returning soon!“

“We went to Peter Luger’s in Brooklyn to celebrate my son’s and my birthdays. Incredibly, it was our first time there. We will be back. Beautiful, old world atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious. Our waiters, Adi and Justin were friendly and professional. I read so many reviews that the wait staff was rude and cold. Don’t believe it for one second. All the waiters were attentive and checked to see how everything was going. Don’t miss the apple strudel and schlag. I’d give Peter Luger’s ten stars if I could. Can’t wait to return.“

Everything tasted fantastic, including the pretzel bread, probably one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. I believe when paying what we have to pay to eat out, it should tasted better than we could make at home. This place didn't disappoint. Where I am from in Oregon, my water tastes fresh, always, and I am quit picky about it, they had bottled water that was greatly appreciated. Server was prompt and attentive. If I am ever in NYC again, I will return. Definitely check it out, you will not be disappointed.“

“I went to Bobby vans on 54th for my birthday dinner and I ordered the filet mignon, mushrooms, ceasar salad, and loaded potato, my daughter had the rigatoni in bordelaise sauce, her boyfriend had the chicken parmigiana and everyone enjoyed their food so much . My filet was cooked to perfection, ( I ordered it medium temp). The atmosphere was nice a few of the businessmen that were there got a little loud during their conversation but it wasn’t too bad, our servers were awesome , very attentive, and accommodating.“

I think his name was naddir (might be spelling that wrong, apologies). We only found out he was training after getting friendly with everyone serving us and he did a great job. “My second time trying this place, food portions are big, we ordered; one appetizer and one entry, it was enough for two. About $80 to $100 per person. Steak tastes fresh though ordered temperature both times was not accurate. I prefere medium well but we got a medium rare, however I am not picky, it still was delicious, maybe a tad more seasoning would hit the spot.
SERVICE: Ok
FOOD: A solid 4 stars, Tastes fresh, shrimps where cooked PERFECTLY, I am not a big fan of tostones (flied plantain flats,) HOWEVER their tostones, I could eat all day. They are THE BEST tostones i have ever tried. They Guacamole is really good, and goes perfect with the tostones.
ATMOSPHERE: Relaxed, welcoming, some light music might go very well.“

It was like Michelin star, better than Capital Grill for sure. My favorite was the potato gratin (super thin sliced potato, buttery, truffly, melt in your mouth goodness).
