“I walked in on a Saturday around 12pmto get oxtail and their customer service was amazing. I got oxtail, rice &peas with oxtail patty. They were both really good, the patty was very flaky and sweet. I sat to eat and the oxtail was really good , they used a balsamic rice and I loved every bite.

We started with Old Fashioned and Fried Green Tomatoes. Perfect batter and crunch. The bacon jam gave the perfect amount of bite. Mr. TSwi had fish (sorry - no photo). I had the garlic clove stuffed filet. It was fork-tender and so delicious. Potatoes fried in tallow butter were decadent. We had the Bread Pudding for dessert - and the leftover for breakfast Sunday morning. Overall, great value for the quality of the food. Not ridiculously expensive. Not ostentatious (TSwi wore jeans and a blazer and was well-dressed compared to others.) We will look forward to coming back again soon.“

The pasta is creamy and a little bit more than al dente which I like. There was a lot of shrimp and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked just enough so that it stayed moist and tender!

Rasta Pasta with Salmon 9/10
This is an excellent deal for salmon and pasta! The salmon is soft, fresh, with sweet sauce to complement the savory flavor. It's a perfect mix of healthy and heavy food.

Curry Goat 9/10
Perfectly spiced, savory with medium curry strength and the meat was super soft and falling off the bone.

Soup of the day 8/10
This is an excellent chicken soup. The broth is thick and savory. The chicken is falling off the bone. Chunks of potato and carrot to top it off. Lots of flavor!

Jerk Chicken Sandwich 8/10
It's spicy and reasonably priced and it comes with some slaw. I think it could be dressed up a bit but it's good.

Kale Salad 8/10
It's a healthy and delicious mix of greens and veggies like cucumber, tomato, mango, corn.

Braised Slow Cooked Oxtail (Large) 7/10
I'll have to try this again because when I got it, the oxtail wasn't falling off the bone like I expected. I think it needed more time in the slowcooker. It also needed some more spice.

Yard Style Jerk Chicken (Large) w/ rice and peas 7/10
The chicken is juicy with mild spice and the container was packed but I think the rice and peas was dry. The coconut white rice is better. Plantains were great.“

“This is THE spot. Jerk chicken is some of the best I've ever had. There's a good char that's smokey and flavorful without any bitterness. The spice is a warm heat with the right amount of sweet. Rice and peas cooked incredibly well, not dry at all. And the cabbage is perfectly tender not mushy. There patties are low-key solid. Curry Chicken is a bit better than the beef in my opinion opinion. But the crust on all is flakey and the filling is flavorful with good spice.

We ate here and they had a wide variety of food options from doubles, cook up, bake and salt fish and various curries paired with The best tasting roti I have had in a long time. We ended it all off with some very tasty Pastries that are homemade in store. The owner Serita is very hospitable and made sure we had everything and that we were well taken care of!
