“Came here for last minute dinner. Was not bad. I dropped a star because unfortunately because they gave me someone's else order. I understand it was super busy but that's a no no in my book. Othet wise the paella was to die for. Seafood was nice and fresh. Great string drinks.“

“I ate at this restaurant during my Christmas vacation visit to New York. It is fantastic! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is so tasty. It was better than the big advertised restaurants. If you want a real delicious meal and some great music while you eat, go to this place. It's a hidden gem.“

“This place is definitely a bang for your buck! A lot of food for the normal entree price in NYC. The place is small and kind of tucked away in the East Village. The service was quick and tables were intimate. Pretty casual joint as well. Food is good! I recommend to the restaurant for their chips though either swap them for plantain chips or homemade to tortilla chips to go with their guacamole! Everything else was fresh“

“Went for Restaurant Week to try a few things out and celebrate my birthday. Everything was fantastic. Standouts were the empanadas and the ropa vieja noodles. The mojitos were delicious although a little small, however, they were reasonably priced. Service was great, we never felt rushed. Will definitely be back and already recommended to friends!“

“This restaurant is so warm and inviting. I spoke with Anna, and she was super communicative in helping me set up a birthday dinner for my husband. It was a party of 16, and the food was amazing! The portions were huge, we even took home appetizers. The drinks were on point, and the ambiance was incredible. There was a live band, and they were awesome! I mean, this was seriously the best, and we went on a Saturday night. To top it all off, we somehow left behind a gift, which must have been an oversight on our part. Yesterday, Gillian called me and left a voicemail letting me know the gift was there. I went to pick it up today! They totally could have kept it, because it was a liquor bottle and they could have sold it, but they did the right thing. This just goes to show how kind and honest the people at this restaurant truly are. Thank you, Kuba staff, you all are awesome, and I appreciate it!“

Not a fan of the yuca fries they were a bit on the dry side but its always a hit or miss when it comes to Yuca / Yuca fries. The atmosphere was amazing, super clean place seems like a small family business loved seeing that. Truly recommend.“

“OMG I was looking for parking outside of Sophie's, to go to a hospital appointment & I was like omg a cuban restaurant I had been craving a good Cubano Sandwich for about 5 yrs so I downloaded app & ordered.. by the time it was ready I found a spot.. it was very reasonably priced especially for Manhattan but most of all it was AMAZING... im literally waiting for my next appointment great food , clean environment & nice people“

“The mojo pork with moro rice was delicious, and I highly recommend it. I also ordered a guava and cheese empanada and got a beef one in my order instead. It was fine, but it wasn't what I really wanted. Word to the wise: pass on the tres leches. It's a flavorless cake with the wrong texture swimming in a pool of evaporated milk. The taste is wrong, the texture is wrong, and two of the three milks are missing.“

“I was amazed by "squid rice with shrimp". It's cooked with squid ink. There is no fishy taste at all but all the goodie including red pepper, green pepper oinion, pea and of course squid and shrimp. The drink is amazing. Be careful, they are very very strong! Owners and servers are super friendly as well.“

We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

The excellent service and beautiful ambiance made the night especially enjoyable. It’s a perfect spot for a date night or a girls’ day out. I absolutely love their brunch hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the live salsa music adds such a fun and lively touch. I’ve been here many times, and it’s easily one of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommend!“

“This is a local Chinese/Peruvian food restaurant that gives new meaning to Chinese food! This fusion of flavors is amazing! I’ve had the steak with tostones, their chicharrón de pollo & many other delectable dishes. They also have a nice bar & make excellent Pisco sours which I can’t find in too many places! I live in Rockland County & the hubby & I take the trip about monthly just to eat here! Nothing fancy about the restaurant but definitely good eats! Highly recommend!
