“Leidylicious bakery is the most whimsical little bakery that’s gives the most pleasant experience ever. I ordered my daughter’s 8th birthday cake ( a Calico critters theme)from this bakery and the whole experience was very stress free. I love how they made it feels like I hired a personal baker. They communication and attention to every details exceeded my expectations for a small bakery. My daughter was very happy, not only with the design of the cake but also the taste. She is a very picky eater! Our cake was all chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling and you can just taste the richness and know that it is made with good ingredients. It was so moist and full of that whole good chocolate taste. I would recommend this bakery to anyone who is looking for that homemade, real good ingredients cake/desserts.“

“I seriously can’t say enough good things about this bakery! The second I walked in, I was already obsessed with how cute and cozy it was. The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful, and honestly, I wanted to move in. 😂 You can tell everyone who works there puts so much love and hard work into everything they make. The cakes are actual works of art—I almost felt guilty cutting into mine… almost. 😅 They looked incredible and somehow tasted even better. The staff was so friendly and welcoming that it felt like they genuinely wanted you there, which is rare these days. If you’re looking for a bakery that’ll make your taste buds happy and your camera roll even happier, this is the place. The chocolate is that damn good! “I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

lovely refuge from a rainy day.
i was biking along when heavens opens. searching for the nearest interior my clunky bike and i stumbled our way into this blue sanctuary. we were graciously welcomed in and patiently waited. Baristas were friendly but not overbearing and kind to each customer that followed after me.

The interior is endearing. The couch is super comfortable and the book selection is great! I had forgotten a book at home so i was especially grateful for this. I especially love that there is a book nook for a child too!

as mentioned the orange blossom latte is something I will dream about and certainly come back for 🧡☕“

“I’m honestly obsessed with these cookies. They are incredibly delicious and so appetizing. What I love the most is that I’m usually not into sweets at all, but these are just perfect.

They’re not overly sweet — just the right balance. The almond flavor is so rich and comforting, and the cherry adds this slight sour touch that makes everything come together beautifully. It’s such an amazing combination.

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend you stop by!“

“This place is wonderful that I stumbled upon it a couple months ago and I have been coming back weekly ever since. I have yet to have a drink I didn’t like here and the same goes for their desserts.

The cinnamon rolls? So sweet and indulgent, they come in packs of two so it’s perfect for those who wanna share an order.

The croissants? Buttery, flaky, everything you want in a croissant is how they make it here. Plus they have different fillings if you don’t want a plain croissant.

The desserts? They are RICH. I can buy one and have it in the fridge for two or three days, all you need is a spoon or two and you’re good to go. Even buying one of the bite sized ones instead is what I tend to do sometimes because all you need is one bite and you’re good. Plus the bite sizes have the different flavors as well, they did some cereal flavors recently and it was AMAZING!

Also the staff are so nice and polite. I have a mom with diabetes who comes here and they constantly warn her if something is too sweet and have her taste her drinks to see what they can add for her. They remember the little things and that makes it easier to converse with them.“

I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). “Came in early a.m., walked in to a bright and energetic atmosphere. Greeted by the cashier I gave my order. 1 Coffee and 6 donuts, not only was the price right; the donuts were phenomenal. I was unsure of what to get but they were patient with me lol I am a bit of a coffee snob and this was one of the best I’ve had. I’m always weary going into new territory (my own bs) but this was a delightful encounter for sure. I will absolutely be returning (with my children) as they could not get enough of the donuts. “I’ve been getting pies from Ladybird Bakery since even before they moved to this location, and they’ve been consistently great over the years. Their pies are especially good — fresh, rich, and with that genuinely homemade bakery quality that’s getting harder to find in Brooklyn.

It’s also nice to see a longtime neighborhood bakery continue doing what it does best while growing into a new space. Whenever I need a pie for a holiday, gathering, or just because, Ladybird is one of the first places that comes to mind. Definitely a neighborhood staple worth supporting.“

“Delillo pastry shop is one of those neighborhood gems to sit and enjoy exceptional coffee and pastries that are out of this world in quality. We highly enjoyed their Eclairs and Cappuccinos. They also sell a variety of Torrone flavors and we bought several as a gift for family.

The shop employees were so nice and helpful as well. This is truly a great place to stop and sit either inside, or out on the patio, and enjoy true Italian pastry. The only downside is that our stomachs ran out of room!

It was nice to know that they also ship out of state! We will certainly be getting more in future.“
