“Leidylicious bakery is the most whimsical little bakery that’s gives the most pleasant experience ever. I ordered my daughter’s 8th birthday cake ( a Calico critters theme)from this bakery and the whole experience was very stress free. I love how they made it feels like I hired a personal baker. They communication and attention to every details exceeded my expectations for a small bakery. My daughter was very happy, not only with the design of the cake but also the taste. She is a very picky eater! Our cake was all chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling and you can just taste the richness and know that it is made with good ingredients. It was so moist and full of that whole good chocolate taste. I would recommend this bakery to anyone who is looking for that homemade, real good ingredients cake/desserts.“

“Marie is the absolute best. I asked her to make a cake for my birthday and my guests and myself have been talking about it ever since! I called Marie to tell her my vision and she helped me through it and made it even better, she's so kind and so open to collaborating. And not only that the flavor was INSANELY DELICIOUS. I am normally not a big cake person but it was the perfect balance of moist and creamy, the way I told her how I wanted it to be. I asked for vanilla frosting with chocolate inside, and a layer of praline cream. Highly recommend ordering from Marie for any occasion. I definitely will be doing that again soon.“

“Croissant & pain au chocolat : Best in New York. But careful, usually available around 9:45/10am. I didn’t go for 3 months and I regret that. Will go more often for sure.

The cake was absolutely delicious, a beautiful heart shaped vanilla buttercream cake that was everything I dreamed of and more. What truly amazed me was that even my non-vegan friends loved it and couldn't believe it was completely vegan! That says everything about the quality and talent behind Happy Zoe.

I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). “Came in early a.m., walked in to a bright and energetic atmosphere. Greeted by the cashier I gave my order. 1 Coffee and 6 donuts, not only was the price right; the donuts were phenomenal. I was unsure of what to get but they were patient with me lol I am a bit of a coffee snob and this was one of the best I’ve had. I’m always weary going into new territory (my own bs) but this was a delightful encounter for sure. I will absolutely be returning (with my children) as they could not get enough of the donuts. “What a neighborhood gem!! Walked in on a Sunday morning and had a delightful conversation with Chef Daniel. Ordered a delicious egg sandwich on a flaky, buttery, sinfully good biscuit, plus a few other items including the dark chocolate vegan sorbet, a chocolate chip cookie and blueberry citrus donut. Do not sleep on the seasonal donuts ... the blueberry was incredible! And do not let the vegan in the sorbet fool you - as a chocolate lover, it was rich, decadent, everything you want and more.

I've lived in the neighborhood for a decade and didn't realize Sugar Butter Chocolate offered retail service. I wish I had known a lot sooner because everything was so, so good. “Delillo pastry shop is one of those neighborhood gems to sit and enjoy exceptional coffee and pastries that are out of this world in quality. We highly enjoyed their Eclairs and Cappuccinos. They also sell a variety of Torrone flavors and we bought several as a gift for family.

The shop employees were so nice and helpful as well. This is truly a great place to stop and sit either inside, or out on the patio, and enjoy true Italian pastry. The only downside is that our stomachs ran out of room!
