“Had a wonderful dinner experience at Adda tonight. The food was exceptional. The chefs know what to do with the spices to create some of the best flavors in all of these dishes. The curry leaf crab is a must! All the dishes were great. But the one of the best bites we had was a simple yet so flavorful kulfi popsicle desert that was dipped in strawberry cream sauce. Also what was top of the line was the service. Our server Swayam was a delight. He was the kindest person with a great personality. He was very knowledgeable about all the items and was a great help with recommendations. Service was a 10 out of ten. It’s hard to get a reso here, but that means everyone is going here. This restaurant is a must.

“First time here! My family and I (party of 13)came here foe dinner to celebrate my 50th birthday 🎂 and it didn’t disappoint! All the apps and i mean cause we ordered alot was excellent! Order the lamb chops, the hakka noodles, and the salt and pepper prawns they were excellent, oh and the lasooni gobi! Our entrees were excellent…do try the punjabi khadi and the fish curry! The service was excellent , the staff were attentive, polite and did not rush us. Do try this place each regional dish will take you on a flavor journey you didn’t expect but will love!“

“We were in the city for 3 nights. I made reservations for the second and third nights. Left night one open. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“

We shared the samosas, goa shrimp curry, lamb rogan josh, baingan bharta (eggplant), rice, and garlic naan! And they were so friendly and even brought us dessert on the house. Excited to come back!“

“One of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time. Everything here from the service to the ambience was amazing! For appetizers we had the biyebarir fish fry and the aloo chaat, both were spicy but we found ourselves wanting more. The entrees stepped it up a notch with the prawn malai kari and the kosha mangshu which were 100% worth coming back for. Our server Zaraith was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the entire meal and the manager Joy was very hospitable. Will be back soon for sure, thank you Unapologetic for the experience!“

“Delicious elevated curries, breads, and a focused menu that invites multiple visits. The dishes I tried all had unique textures, flavors, and compositions. Outstanding kitchen. I was not that impressed by the non-alcoholic cocktails: I didn't taste the complexity that the menu descriptions hinted at.

The food is filling. We ordered less food than they recommended, and we still had leftovers after eating more than needed.

“Food was really good but THEY CANNOT MAKE STUFF SPICY !! I asked for the spiciest stuff they had and he said he had some really spicy hot sauce for me. With a straight face he gave me a small container of Tabasco or some other vinegar based mild hot sauce.

He also gave me two tiny green Birds Eye peppers which are spicy, yes, but I asked for extra extra spice so I was expecting way more.“

“We came to try out this place thanks to a recommendation. Bratik, our server, was above and beyond. His recommendations were top notch and he even treated us to some unexpected menu surprises. We had the tandoori salmon (amazing with some tikka sauce on it), butter chicken and keema naan. We sampled the Bhel Puri, a delicious, crunchy app with tamarind chutney. Must try if in NY!“

An error was made with one of the dishes (we ordered lamb and received chicken) the let us eat the chicken and they provided us with the correct dish at no cost. I also appreciated the happy hour -- good quality cocktails with Indian themes for $9. That's pretty good for Manhattan. Polite and attentive service and did not rush us out.“

“Ordered Indika House for delivery. I was honestly expected some mid-quality food due to how reasonably-priced their takeout meal deal was. But boy, was I wrong; everything was delicious, fresh, and warm.

I’ve been to some Indian places that try to hide stale / dry chicken with curry, but the meat in Indika House’s butter chicken was tender and melt-in-your-mouth. My expectations for the Aloo Tikki were also low, I’ve had places serve it like a dry, seasoned hockey puck. But Indika House’s version was crispy and flakey on the outside and soft, flavorful on the inside.

So thrilled to have another regular takeout spot added to our list!“

Our food is mainly Bengali/Indian/Pakistani dishes and some outside items like salads/sweets etc. I mostly cook the main dishes MYSELF. During my visit to NY I dined in few restaurants. I never ate in any NY restaurants before. Dera rest: C+; 3 star Lahore rest: B-; 3.5 star Kababish: C-; 2 star Alibaba Kabab near Bufalo: B+; 4 star Few fast-food restaurants. Now the Main subject DHANIA restaurant, A++; 6 Star Restaurant is Very Clean, Nice atmosphere. Food came in reasonable time. If food comes quickly then thats not good for S. Asian food. Cauliflower was fantastic! Samosas were very good! Chatney awesome. Chicken Tikka was great! Biriyani & butter chicken was Excellent! Naan was fine & soft! Not hard or burned as some other places. Since I ordered catering for my congregation from many restaurants in Houston, I became an expert in S. Asian food. Dhania really surpassed my expectations and surprised me in NY. Wish them the best. “We’ve eaten at Gulab in Cliffside Park several times, and the food is always excellent. The chicken tikka is flavorful and tender, the chicken biryani is perfectly seasoned, and the naan comes out nice and warm every time.
