“One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Easily my favorite restaurant on Long Island. I am a chef and the guy at the table next to me was as well and we were both blown away. My kids (4 years old) loved everything, my mother (pescatarian) couldnt have loved her food more. The drinks were on point and the flavors were beyond compare. Their char sui bao were hands-down the best I have ever had.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dim sum and a ton of dishes too. Absolutely fantastic vegetarian offerings!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year olds loved the place! The servers were great with them!“
“Incredible place with a diverse menu that has tons of different flavors. This is a go-to spot for any vegetarian to grab different styles of momo's and chaaps. We ordered tandoori and fried momo's, along with Afghani and Amritsari chaap; everything was so delicious and this will be my go-to spot. A must try the vegetarian option in Nassau County NY!!“
“Excellent gong kong style brunch style noodle and congee spot, and perfect for rice dishes and Chinese vegetable and simple sautéed Chinese style beef and seafood dishes. I enjoy coming back and doing take out for those days I don't feel like cooking!“
“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“
“A delicious take out experience! Food was ready by the time I selected to pick it up, was in and out quick.Food:- Garlic shredded pork (medium spicy) 5/5: this was delicious with just a flavorful and enjoyable level of spice. Spice brought a light burn to my lips, I’m not the most spice tolerant. Sriracha is my happy place spice wise for reference.- sesame chicken 5/5: very tender, juicy chicken. The sauce was sweeter than I expected, but it’s not a dish I’ve gotten before. Very good, especially for lunch the next day.- pork soup dumplings 5/5: very big, filled with delicious pork and soup. Almost too big to eat in one bite - almost! Great portion of soup and pork filling.- pork and sour cabbage fried dumpling 4/5: these were good, nothing remarkable which is why a 4, whereas I thought the other items were very very good. I think the sauce was what I didn’t like as much about them.Based on my experience, I happily recommend Zouji for getting high quality, flavorful Chinese food in Glen Cove. It’s my favorite of the Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in town (3 total). I will be back the next time I’m craving Chinese food!“
“Stumbled upon this place after ordering take out from here and was pleasantly surprised to find it inside a supermarket filled with isles of amazing international foods. Unfortunately, when we arrived home we realized we were given the wrong order and immediately called them and they kindly Ubered our correct order to us without any charge and let us keep the wrong order. We ordered: 1. Scallion pancakes with sliced beef - a favorite 2. Steamed bbq pork buns - huge and pork was delicious but too much dough to meat ratio 3. Sesame chicken - too much dough 4. Chicken with broccoli - healthy option and delicious They had a promotion and gifted us 6 pork soup dumplings which were a fav as well. I will definitely order from here again for more dim sum style food as there are so many things I wanted to try. I also like that they have frozen options for dim sum to take home and make yourself. I recommend picking the order up to check out the food bizarre as well.“
“Maybe I am living in 2019 but I found the food prices to be rather high. Portions were not overly generous, either. But what we did get was excellent. Wonton soup was the best I have had anywhere. Scallion pancake tasty but not too greasy, as it can be elsewhere. Chicken and broccoli, orange beef, and lo mein had the rest of my party raving. The dining room was clean and bright (not too bright) and the service impeccable.“
“Delicious food!!! Not a long wait for the order. They always offer free bun or dumplings as a starter. Everything is very fresh and super delicious. I have lots of favorite dishes there. I am always trying to get something new. Real Asian food. They take cash only, but you can pay by Zelle or Venmo as well. Highly recommended.“
“We come for our family dimsum event and we love it. Lots of parking in the back and they have a lot of sea food / vegetable options. We usually get the Singapore noodles and steamed snow pea leafs. It can get busy on weekends after 11 but they control it very well. Cost is about the same as others.“
“Our go to Dim-Sum place without needing to trek over to Great Neck and/or Flushing. The selection of dim sum dishes is smaller, but all the main staples are served. Typical Chinese place, not a lot of chitchat form the waiters but speedy and efficient serving and cleaning of the table. Price is up a bit since before pre-pandemic.“
“After so many times trying multiple Chinese food reasturants and take out places I can finally say Oriental Garden has the most delicious food! We had pretty much everything from the menu and was super FRESH with high quality ingredients which is hard to get in most of the Chinese places. As far as price, I'm ok with. After all most important is the quality of what I ingest ?“
“I’ve been to my share of Dim Sum restaurants. I like New Northern Manor because of its location in Little Neck/Douglaston/Great Neck. The food is always delicious and they have some variety. The service is good although it may not seem like it when you first walk in the door, because it can get chaotic due to the many customers that dine there. It can be a long wait before you’re seated, but I’ve learned that if you have a little patience, it is an overall good experience here. The atmosphere is also good. Always very clean, tidy, and many folks going around to ensure that your table is ready when you’re seated and ordering. They are also well dressed. I’ve been a customer for years and will continue to be. I recommend if you like Dim Sum.Parking: There is parking available, but area gets very congested. Be prepared to park a block or two away when the area is busy.“
“Always my go to for dim sum!! I'm out east over an hour away and happily make the trip for the best dim sum ever!! My favorite dishes are the Sui Mai, ha Chung, ha gao, piguot, lo bako.. too many to list! Super fresh and always delicious!“
“On the hunt for a good Sichuan/Szechuan place I decided to drive out of my comfort zone and try a new spot where I normally would not go. I have to say it was worth it. When we first arrived it was earlier than my preferred dinner time and the place had only 2 tables with customers. That concerned me but that concern was quickly dispelled. The waitress/hostess greeted us and we were promptly seated. Large fried egg noodles and duck sauce were immediately brought to the table and our chosen drinks quickly followed. The menu has a broad range of choices so you can satisfy multiple cravings easily. The egg roll was nicely prepared and moderately above average. The crab dumplings were good but fishy on purpose I guess to reassure customers that the crab is real and not imitation. The wontons in spicy chili oil were delicious and reminiscent of one of my go to spots in Flushing. The house special fried rice was well prepared, delicious and plentiful. The garlic chicken was abundant for two and delicious. Altogether this place is worth checking out and I will return.“
“Definitely a great spot for something different! The different flavor dumplings are great options the chicken parm was amazing and I also had the Ruben and lamb ones as well sauce they come with go great with it definitely will try some original dumplings and a few more specialties one but definitely a solid spot“
