Everything is homemade from the pasta, bread and the salad dressing. The portions are generous and the prices are really good. Definitely a must try if you like fresh homemade pasta. “Came in for the first time after hearing good things. It didn’t disappoint. Food quality and service are what you would hope for from a local sub shop/deli but don’t always get. Seeing Boershead in the case is always a good sign. The staff really cares about serving food that you love. We’ll go again, often.“
“Very High quality pie. Thick crust with a healthy balance of crisp to fluff. Minimal flop. Cheese game was average, quality of cheese underwhelming but quantity was acceptable. Pepperoni was fabulous and sauce was beyond spectacular. Best pizza in New York pizza not in NYC.“
“My husband and I ordered takeout of Veal Parmesan, Broccoli, Gnocchi with red sauce, Greens and Beans with Gnocchi, seafood bisque, and an additional loaf of their amazing Italian bread. We have enough leftover for another dinner, and then some. 1/2 loaf of sliced bread was already included, but I bought a loaf for the freezer because it's so full of flavor, crusty on the outside and tender on the inside. EVERYTHING was delicious, as it has always been. The portions were generous, and the owner was so kind and courteous at the time of my order and at pick up. We were so pleased with this experience. “It's like other reviews say: if you're looking for a friendly vibe, don't come here. The whole town feels that way though. Definitely a depressing atmosphere here and the guy who took our order looked annoyed that we were there. However, I will go ahead and give them four stars because the food was surprisingly good for a small town, no frills establishment. Took a while but everything was fresh and tasty.“
“My nephew who goes to Geneseo took me here for a slice. The pizza was solid. Thin crust with decent sauce. The place looks like an old NYC pizza place with brick walls and high ceilings and darkly lit. The staff were college age kids. The only reason I give the service 3 stars is we ordered three pepperoni one cheese and they gave us three cheese one pepperoni. Wasn't a big deal but I really wanted to try both cheese and pepperoni. Next time I go I will get the pepperoni. Bathroom was clean and the atmosphere of the place was chill. Overall definitely recommend if you like thin crust David Portnoy style pizza.“
