“I enjoyed having Salmon for dinner there.“

“I do not recommend going to the bar! Terrible service!! This past Labor Day my husband and I decided to go back to this place for our second time, since our first time was a great experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service overall. This time we decided to sit in the back because they had a DJ and good ambiance. The bar seating was perfect and beautiful water view. Since it was a beautiful evening we decided to order a nice COLD bottle of white wine along with our meal. Unfortunately the wine we wanted “supposedly” they didn’t have…..but it seemed as our very young bartender was having a bit of trouble trying to put that in the system, so she came back to see if we have a second choice. So we chose. We waited more than usual, but did come eventually………to our disappointment the wine was room temperature. So we expressed our dissatisfaction about how is it possible to serve white wine at room temperature. She suggested we put our bottle in an ice bucket because there’s no colder wines, and that would be the coldest! But then that wouldn’t solve the issue as she thought. We still had warm white wine to drink. So, once we said sorry we just can’t, she decided to leave the ice bucket unattended on the bar and ignore as completely even though we pushed the wine to the side. Since she was completely ignoring us, I got up and went to the side of the bar and called her and asked to speak to whoever was in charge of the wines. With a great attitude she had someone called that person. Once we spoke to him I asked how is it possible to serve room temperature white wine?! the excuse was that maybe she chose the one they just put in. So he advised us to change our wine completely. We ordered French and he suggested a Greek wine because they have that one very cold. After he brought the wine, he left it inside ice bucket unattended. Not even asked if that wine was ok! We had to remind the other very young bartender if we could have our wine. Since our bartender still was ignoring us. We kept the bucket with us just incase so we can serve ourselves. Food came and was delicious! We got the appetizers and after a little while our main course. But empty plates were still there from appetizers. The food runner had to make space to put our main course on the bar top. Main course was done and empty plates were there for so much longer than they should. But she was attending other guest while ignoring us. I started staking the plates, when she noticed she asked the other bartender to clear up the area. My husband wanted dessert so we asked someone else for it. And then we added a couple of frangelicos and this is when she came around again! Nope! Sorry! To not make the story longer our bill came to almost $300. We didn’t think she deserved any tip at all. She ruined our experience. We made the best of our last days of summer. Yes I could’ve had the manager and complain but that would have ruined our evening and our meal. So I told my husband just give her $25 though I thought that was WAY too much, but to show her that we are descent people and that she’s not doing us a favor by serving us because she’s a lousy person with No bartending etiquette and she shouldn’t be behind the bar! And yes we made sure tip wasn’t included already!!“

From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect — the location, ambiance, food, and service were all spectacular. I hope I’m spelling his name correctly, but Fasbiender was incredibly helpful and kind, as were the other servers who took great care of our party. Caitlyn, who helped us with the booking and made sure everything ran smoothly, was such a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond, attentive to every detail, and made the planning process completely seamless.

Both Fasbiender and Caitlyn are wonderful assets to the restaurant. Because of them, you’ve earned a returning customer — and several of our guests who live nearby mentioned they’ll be coming back too!

You have got to come here, they just opened and need more customers. For the price, you get so much delicious meat and I want to go back again and enjoy the food. The food is prepared so well and it's so nice that they have some feature meals that change with the seasons and take advantage of what produce are available. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. “I came here for fresh seafood and ended up purchasing several prepared food items, since those are easy and looked well made. I tried both seafood and vegetable dishes. All were fresh and tasted delicious. I care about fresh seafood. Prices are not cheap, but with seafood, quality really matters. There also appears to be a sushi restaurant onsite, which I'll have to try next time I'm in town. Roslyn is fortunate to have several local gourmet markets and this counts.“

“This place was AMAZING! I never came here before they renovated, but the interior is so beautiful and well thought out, so great job to them! The environment, the staff, the FOOD! Absolutely no notes.

We had a variety of amazing apps (not pictured). Started with the tuna tartar, meatballs (10/10 wish I had a second order of them), and the garlic bread sticks. Everything was cooked so well, while presentation was just as great.

Next the dinner. We had a steak, the pork shank, a salad, and a surf and turf (off menu) that was a full steak with clam stuffed shrimp. Steaks were perfectly medium rare and tender, the pork shank was so tender it was falling off the bone (in the best way), and even the simple salad was fresh and tasty.

Now the dessert. Everything is made by either the head chef, the soup chef, or the waitress. Each one is better than the next. Personal favorite: the dark chocolate cake. My girlfriend, who hates coconut, tried the coconut cream pie and said "wow. I might like coconut now". Her personal favorite is the bread pudding bites.

After dinner we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks while chatting with the bartender, who is so attentive and friendly! Lots of regulars and locals here, but it's part of what made the whole evening so lovely! We will DEFINITELY be back!“

“We had a fiftieth birthday party here for two twin brothers. The patio out back is beautiful. The food was great and the waitstaff is wonderful. This is practically its own institution in Floral Park.“

“We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“

“I visited Kuttanadan Indian Restaurant last Friday all the way from New Jersey, and it was absolutely worth the drive! It was Fisherman’s Night at dinner, and the experience was nothing short of amazing.

The food tasted just like home — especially the kalamari fry, which was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The fish peera was another standout — fresh, authentic, and cooked with just the right amount of tang and spice that brought back coastal Kerala memories.

The ambiance, the hospitality, and the traditional flavors made it a truly special evening. I could feel the love and effort in every dish. Thank you, Kuttanadan, for bringing a slice of Kerala to our plates!

“Was invited here as a guest. Didn't eat in the actual restaurant portion, but I can still say the food was absolutely amazing. The servers were very attentive to everyone even though we were a big party. Great place for an out of towner like me.“

“Overall, the food was excellent and left a great impression. The octopus and potato was delicious but could benefit from a little more salt or acidity to bring the flavors together. The mezze bowls were a highlight, with the bread standing out as particularly delicious. The branzino was cooked well. The citrus salad was fresh and good.

Service was a bit rushed, likely because they noticed we had a squirmy toddler with us. While we didn't mind this, I could see how it might be a bit off-putting in a more relaxed adult-only setting. One small improvement could be a clearer explanation of the dishes when they arrive at the table.

We didn't have dessert this time, although we did look over the menu. I noticed the after-dinner drinks were not listed on the desserts menu.

All in all, it was a very good dining experience for Westchester, and we’re looking forward to returning.“

There was a rose on the table and a card. Waiter wished us Happy Anniversary and brought 2 glasses of champagne. A waitress who served us months ago saw us and stopped to wish us a Happy Anniversary. Anyway on to the food. We ordered appetizers and waiter said no rush to order dinner. Relax and enjoy your occasion. Had the lump crab cocktail. Amazing!! And a wedge salad which they chopped and split in half. For dinner my wife had lamb chop special. Kona and balsamic coated lamb chops. I had regular order of lamb chops. They were excellent!! And we ordered appetizers special potato side dish. Also very good. They then brought out an anniversary dessert which we had with coffee. And on way out the door, maitre D wished us Happy Anniversary also. A very special evening indeed.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

So I decided to order this for my daughter birthday so I order the big popie with as 4 lobsters well what they did was cut 2 lobster in half and large shrimp and snow crab and potatoes and broccoli and corn in the special sauce. The menu had a mix of 'latin fusion' dishes, including Latin Sushi and classic Latin dishes from different countries (Cuban, Peruvian, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Dominican). It was a rainy Wednesday night so it wasn't crowded but the ambiance was still good with a mix of Latin and pop music playing in the background noticeable enough to hear if you wanted but not too loud to interfere with conversations. Service was good too. I plan on going again. We didn't get to eat on the patio because of the weather but looked like it would be really nice with good weather.“

“We arrived at Lisbon Cafe at 3:00 pm, atfter lunch hour rush and we had the luxury of dining al fresco. The staff were friendly, attentive and knew the details of the menu items.
We ordered three appetizers - Grilled Calamari, Bolinhos e bacalhau, Portuguese clams. The sauce of the clams was out of this world! We mopped them out with soft bread! The combination of clam and pork sausage was perfect! The grilled calamari paired well with peppers and tomatoes.

The cod cakes were melt in your mouth soft.

For main, we ordered Feijoada de Mariscos, Bacalhau a Lagareiro, and Chanfana Cabrito (Braised Goat). The meal was served with salads and rice. We ate everything with gusto and with delightful satisfaction!
