“I do not recommend going to the bar! Terrible service!! This past Labor Day my husband and I decided to go back to this place for our second time, since our first time was a great experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service overall. This time we decided to sit in the back because they had a DJ and good ambiance. The bar seating was perfect and beautiful water view. Since it was a beautiful evening we decided to order a nice COLD bottle of white wine along with our meal. Unfortunately the wine we wanted “supposedly” they didn’t have…..but it seemed as our very young bartender was having a bit of trouble trying to put that in the system, so she came back to see if we have a second choice. So we chose. We waited more than usual, but did come eventually………to our disappointment the wine was room temperature. So we expressed our dissatisfaction about how is it possible to serve white wine at room temperature. She suggested we put our bottle in an ice bucket because there’s no colder wines, and that would be the coldest! But then that wouldn’t solve the issue as she thought. We still had warm white wine to drink. So, once we said sorry we just can’t, she decided to leave the ice bucket unattended on the bar and ignore as completely even though we pushed the wine to the side. Since she was completely ignoring us, I got up and went to the side of the bar and called her and asked to speak to whoever was in charge of the wines. With a great attitude she had someone called that person. Once we spoke to him I asked how is it possible to serve room temperature white wine?! the excuse was that maybe she chose the one they just put in. So he advised us to change our wine completely. We ordered French and he suggested a Greek wine because they have that one very cold. After he brought the wine, he left it inside ice bucket unattended. Not even asked if that wine was ok! We had to remind the other very young bartender if we could have our wine. Since our bartender still was ignoring us. We kept the bucket with us just incase so we can serve ourselves. Food came and was delicious! We got the appetizers and after a little while our main course. But empty plates were still there from appetizers. The food runner had to make space to put our main course on the bar top. Main course was done and empty plates were there for so much longer than they should. But she was attending other guest while ignoring us. I started staking the plates, when she noticed she asked the other bartender to clear up the area. My husband wanted dessert so we asked someone else for it. And then we added a couple of frangelicos and this is when she came around again! Nope! Sorry! To not make the story longer our bill came to almost $300. We didn’t think she deserved any tip at all. She ruined our experience. We made the best of our last days of summer. Yes I could’ve had the manager and complain but that would have ruined our evening and our meal. So I told my husband just give her $25 though I thought that was WAY too much, but to show her that we are descent people and that she’s not doing us a favor by serving us because she’s a lousy person with No bartending etiquette and she shouldn’t be behind the bar! And yes we made sure tip wasn’t included already!!“

“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“We very recently had my mother's 80th birthday party here at Two25 with 40 attendees. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. First of all, it has a modern, calming and upscale vibe. The restaurant and restrooms are immaculate. Crisp table settings. Cool jazz lightly cascading through the sound system. Just great overall ambiance. From the moment I walked in to inquire about having a party, I met Caitlin, who deftly and expertly handled every single issue, before, during and after, with ease and grace. She made sure that our experience was perfect. A true professional and a credit to the establishment. From the moment that our party started, the staff was incredibly attentive and intuitive. The appetizers of arancini, wontons, and artichokes were absolutely delish. The salads course was perfect. And the main dinner courses were expertly crafted. I personally had the short ribs which were melt in your mouth deliciousness. My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection. And although I did not taste the chicken Milanese, everyone who had it reported it to be excellent. The dessert of gelato and cappuccino was the perfect complement to the amazing meal. And if I didn't stress this point enough, Caitlin and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every whim. As an amazing example of that, before the day of the event, I mentioned to Caitlin, quite off-handedly, that although their beer selections were top shelf, they didn't have my go-to beer. Would you believe that the manager, Andrea, went out and personally made sure my favorite beer would be on hand for our event. Now that is what I call service!!!!
All of our guests were thoroughly impressed and everyone, invariably, had nothing but positive reviews for the event.
Two25 has skyrocketed up to our family's favorite restaurant.

“My friend and I - both longtime lovers of Asian cuisine - were originally headed to another spot for lunch, but it was closed for a break until 5 PM. Hungry Monster was nearby, so we decided to give it a try - and we’re so glad we did!
Though the restaurant is small, it’s incredibly cozy and comfortable, with a mix of four-person tables and bar-style seating with stools. When we arrived, there were only a couple of teenagers sipping smoothies, so we practically had the place to ourselves. That meant we got the full attention of our wonderful waiter, Biscuit, who was very attentive and made us feel well cared for from start to finish.
We both ordered their signature dish package - I chose the soup-based seafood package, and my friend ordered the beef version. Each dish came served in a small cauldron, full of different ingredients and rich flavor. The portions were generous, so I ended up taking half of mine home. As a nice touch, they packed my leftovers in a high-quality branded bag with the restaurant’s name, which I really appreciated.
We ended our meal with drinks - mine was a refreshing grapefruit and lemon green tea, and my friend had a Mango Tea Yakult, which was fruity, creamy, and perfectly balanced.
The ambiance added to the experience. The decor combines traditional Asian elements with anime-style art, even on the bathroom door! It was fun, vibrant, and gave the place a unique personality. Pleasant background music played throughout the meal - it was noticeable enough to enhance the atmosphere but soft enough not to interfere with conversation.
Some practical notes:
• They offer delivery, and you can get a 10% discount on takeout if you pay in cash.
• They’re open every day.
• The only downside is parking - limited spots in front of the restaurant and no obvious public parking nearby. You can risk parking in the nearby plaza, but there are tow warnings posted. Thankfully, we didn’t have any trouble.
All in all, we had a wonderful lunch at Hungry Monster. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the whole experience felt welcoming and personal. We’ve been to many Asian restaurants before, and this one stood out in the best way.

“A true hidden gem of a restaurant, with spacious open seatings, amazing interior lighting and decorations, polite and super curteous staff / manager, a unique delicious seasonal menu, and Very Very competetive priced dinner menu.

I ordered wood grilled kona lamb. The dish was prepared to perfection, well served and delicious.
Considering the location and area, if you are seeking a classy restaurant with amazing atmosphere, seasonal delicious menu, and yummy choices then I highly, highly recomend this restaurant.

“I came here for fresh seafood and ended up purchasing several prepared food items, since those are easy and looked well made. I tried both seafood and vegetable dishes. All were fresh and tasted delicious. I care about fresh seafood. Prices are not cheap, but with seafood, quality really matters. There also appears to be a sushi restaurant onsite, which I'll have to try next time I'm in town. Roslyn is fortunate to have several local gourmet markets and this counts.“

Reminded me of some of the seafood places I went to as a kid on Long Island. The fish is fresh and delicious, well priced and well portioned. “We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“1st time trying a Capital Grille. Came to celebrate my birthday with my wife. Reservations are a must at this place as it can get busy and even with a reservation they may ask you to wait till seats are available.

From the moment you are seated, the staff make sure you are taken care of. They are patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated. Our server Nicholas and the managing partner Richard ensured that whatever you were celebrating, you would feel special. Highlights of the meal included a wonderful birthday card with decorated table, well created drinks, the lobster bisque, 48oz porterhouse steak, the lobster Mac and cheese, velvety mashed potatoes, and the scalloped potatoes (which most places I've been to don't even offer). Seeing I was curious about dessert, they even offered a complimentary sample of 2 mini desserts and allowed me to order the main dessert separately if I wanted. Nothing felt pushy, rushed or fake. “We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“My favorite ramen in the area! Something about their broth is much tastier and flavorful than the other ramen places I've had in the area. Visited twice already and ordered delivery and the ramen consistently good. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the bubble tea. I got the matcha milk tea and it didnt taste good. The pearls were very bland and too hard for my liking. Always get bubble tea at a designated bubble tea place 😆“

“Been going to Mill Creek Tavern frequently over the last 10 years and was never disappointed. They have a great menu with numerous choices and also have daily specials. The service is above expectations. Always pleasant and efficient. The service staff stops by frequently to remove dishes and anything else on the table that you are done with. One of the best if not the best restaurant I ever had the pleasure of going to.“
