“Great find! On a chilly winter night Nookies provided the perfect last minute (a rare occurrence, I believe) dinner for two with cool easy vibes and really yummy warming food.

Fun retro decor and neat off the beaten path spot in Southold area.

We also got a nice quick little tour of the motel and would love to stay here on our next visit out!

“While visiting Greenport, I stumbled upon this charming café and instantly fell in love. Their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich paired with a cinnamon bun became my go-to breakfast combo, and the coffee? Absolutely amazing.. smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced.

But let’s talk about their croissants! I tried the ham and cheese croissant, and it was next-level. Topped with everything bagel seasoning, it was perfectly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside... a total game-changer. Do not miss this one; it’s seriously special.

The staff was warm and friendly, and the cozy decor made it feel so inviting. I noticed they had donuts, but they were sold out when I visited. (Apparently, they make a limited batch each day, so getting there early is key!) It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden treasure—hard to leave and even harder to forget. If you’re in Greenport, this café is a must-visit!”

“The service is great - Nicole is a fantastic ice cream Barista and the owner is very friendly. Their is comfortable and spacious indoor and outdoor seating, convenient parking in the rear of the building, interesting wall art and photos, and a variety of ice creams, greek yogurts, and smoothies. This place has been a staple in the Greenport community for many years, and hopefully many more to come.”

“The most important takeaway for me was the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I arrived on a quiet night not realizing that they were preparing to close. It would have been reasonable to say they closing, but without hesitation a hot chocolate was whipped up and they were so sweet about it.The hot chocolate was a perfect balance of nostalgic sweet chocolate with a gourmet touch that made it delicious. I grabbed a brownie at the last minute and was so glad i did. The brownie was fresh, soft on the inside, and moist. Would absolutely order this again and I am excited to try their other baked items.It was just a hot chocolate and brownie, but it warmed me up on a chilly night and their kindness made my night. Awesome little place with great people.”

“We visited the Pearl for an early dinner last Sunday. We had an unbelievably terrific meal! It was a great menu too. The appetizers were amazing! Everything at the Pearl is made from scratch & the presentation of each dish was beautiful! My favorite appetizers were the Burratta and the Shrimp Saam. I had the meatballs which had to be the best I’ve ever had. My Grandson had the ribs which fell off the bone & melted in your mouth. Everyone was very pleased with their choice. The staff were so nice & the chef Jessica amazing! She took the time to come out & talk to us and make sure we were satisfied. It is obvious that she loves what she does & takes great pride in her meals. The Pearl is our new go to restaurant in Greenport. We can’t wait to go back!!”

“We stopped in on a quiet Thursday night but it did not disappoint. Alex, the bartender was friendly and created a great custom cocktail. The food was great. The wings, deliciously seasoned with sauces on the side-a must try. We also had the meat board which was more than expected. A great experience and will definitely be back.”

“Greenport Distilling and Bar is no longer in Greenport. It has recently reopened on the site of One Woman Winery at 5195 Old North Road in Southold. In addition to great cocktails based on their own gin, vodka and bourbon, you can also opt for a variety of One Woman wines.
They are open every day except Tuesday from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. On Fridays, they stay open for Jazz Night from 6:00 to 9:00.
The musicians vary from week to week but they have all been good. What does not vary is the quality of the cocktails, wines and delicious snacks. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The newly renovated barn provides an impressive and comfortable environment to relax and enjoy.”

“We were in Greenport for Mother’s Day, and stumbled in here. The smell from outside was amazing. We ordered the half Brisket, Ribs and sausage with large fries, I was worried the food would be drenched in BBQ sauce, this was not the case. We were grateful the food was seasoned and sauced perfectly. The fries for us were crispy, some would say over done but perfect for us. We liked the atmosphere, service initially was a little slow but it was Mom’s Day. Oh two last things, if you order the sausage it is very hot, good but spicy hot so be prepared. Portions were decent, two of us ate from what we ordered and had a box to come home with.”
