“I heard amazing things about Marisa’s so we finally tried it for the first time. We were originally going to get slices, but when we first walked in, there was no place to sit and have a slice. We would’ve had to sit in our car. The kitchen staff were not friendly, looked pretty miserable and had an attitude when we asked questions. Maybe it was the heat. It was a pretty hot day, but we decided to go into the dining room and sat at a high top by the bar because the dining room was rather small and they had reservations. Not a problem. The food was excellent. The bartender who was the waitress was so nice and personable. She provided a great service. She was attentive and very timely. My husband and I both ordered our own personal pizza which was a good size, we ordered the homemade mozzarella sticks and I had a house salad. Love the food! It was great. Our bill came to $60. We did not have alcohol. I don’t mind spending money on good food. We will definitely return.“

“Joe and Frank make everything by hand , the eggplant the sausage the meatballs the bread with just the freshest Italian ingredients. They both been cooking over 40 years . The green and beans is the best , momma Rosie’s fish is excellent, the meatballs are the best in the state I’ve eaten everywhere there great some special thing they do , the greens and beans and sausage pizza is great everything there is great especially the hospitality anyone knows Joe he’s the best person you’ll ever meet . I moved up to the capital region 8 months ago from SC, after 3 decades in FL (originally from Long Island) and since arriving, have tried 4 different pizzeria’s. “My son and I stopped in on Sunday October 4 for the first time. We weren’t disappointed!! Nice clean tavern. Friendly bartender. Food was fantastic! Love my fries served hot. Even with the football games on the TVs my son and I could have a conversation and not be yelling over the volume. We will definitely come back. We appreciate the social distancing and the way the menus were tossed away.“

“This place is so nice and the guy they had out front was awesome. Very friendly and good at making conversation that was appropriate for the situation. As soon as we walked in I could smell how good this place was going to be. The overall atmosphere was a really nice mix of casual and more upscale. Very nice seating arrangements and I loved the nice blue fake fire place. I would definitely recommend them. We also went during a time when it was not very busy about 4pm yet there were still a handful of tables full despite the unpopular time.“

“I only moved to the area about six months ago and i've been looking for a place to make my regular spot. My family has owned a few pizzerias throughout my life and worked in several so im picky to say the least on what i consider good pizza. I ordered a plain cheese and a pepperoni and an order of fries for the little kids. Everything came in under an hour it was all piping hot and the fries were still crispy! The pizza was delicious and even with a couple family members fighting off the stomach flu they couldn't help themselves but to have some. Needless to say I will definitely be getting my pizza here from now on along with the three other adults in my house and my upstairs neighbors. My grandmother is already planning on telling her sister whose lived in the area for years and has been going somewhere else.“

Our waitress was very attentive and well prepared when we came into the restaurant and one of the guests has a mobility scooter. Making this one of our favorite spots to dine out. “This pizza is awesome. I don't know about other locations but this one has great pizza. It's consistent and my youngest, who tired of pizza, demands this place all the time. The pizza is solid, ask for little crispy if you want bigger crunch but to be honest you don't need it. I order 2 large pizzas with a family of four because it is so good we polish off these pies quickly. Can't wait for my next order when they get back from vacation. God bless!“

“Uncle Rico’s is our favorite pizza in the area. Their food is consistently great, and their delivery times usually are faster than their prediction (unless you request a specific time). Their wings are meaty and huge, their pizza has snappy dough/crust (I’m a downstater and am pretty specific about how I like my pizza lol), and the ratio of ingredients is always perfect. “All in the Family is an unassuming pizza shop that has a small shop feel to it. There wasn’t much by way of a menu, but there were a several pies by the slice to choose from (2 veggie, 2 chicken, cheese, and pepperoni) and lots of tasty looking cupcakes. I got a slice of veggie which had spinach, broccoli and tomato with what seemed like an olive oil base. The slice surpassed my expectations! The dough was a perfect New York style thin with a little crispiness and chewiness once you got to the crust and blistered just right. It wasn’t soggy at all, which I was impressed with, given all the water that usually seeps out from veggie toppings. Using an oil base was a good choice on that front. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick affordable slice! The person at the counter was also friendly and courteous. No picture because it was too good to wait 😋“

“Came to the area from Kansas to visit some family, wanted to experience local NY pizza. We wandered in and immediately started talking with customers and staff about the 2015 KC Royals (beat the Mets!!). They served us even though we're Royals fans!

Gave us a sample and instructed us in the proper NY way to fold and enjoy.

Pizza was delicious, quick, and economical.

“Traveled from Clifton Park today to have a fabulous Italian meal in Rotterdam. I sat at the bar, and ordered the chicken francese. My lunch came with a salad and some crispy Italian bread. A very generous portion of the chicken and a side of penne. What a beautiful place inside. I'll have my leftover chicken for lunch tomorrow. 5 out of 5 stars for me. Thanks for a great meal.
