“My girlfriend and I live nearby and our cat is named Sage so we decided to stop by for an early dinner one evening. We were not disappointed. It was early for dinner and it was a weekday so when we arrived we were the only ones in restaurant (people continued to come in after us). I do expect slightly better service and quicker food when there are few people in a restaurant and this was certainly the case. The food was delicious and the service was constant. At one point they had a trainee (the owners toddler son) come check in on us and ask how our food came out which was very cute. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving Mediterranean food!“

“I heard amazing things about Marisa’s so we finally tried it for the first time. We were originally going to get slices, but when we first walked in, there was no place to sit and have a slice. We would’ve had to sit in our car. The kitchen staff were not friendly, looked pretty miserable and had an attitude when we asked questions. Maybe it was the heat. It was a pretty hot day, but we decided to go into the dining room and sat at a high top by the bar because the dining room was rather small and they had reservations. Not a problem. The food was excellent. The bartender who was the waitress was so nice and personable. She provided a great service. She was attentive and very timely. My husband and I both ordered our own personal pizza which was a good size, we ordered the homemade mozzarella sticks and I had a house salad. Love the food! It was great. Our bill came to $60. We did not have alcohol. I don’t mind spending money on good food. We will definitely return.“

“My son and I stopped in on Sunday October 4 for the first time. We weren’t disappointed!! Nice clean tavern. Friendly bartender. Food was fantastic! Love my fries served hot. Even with the football games on the TVs my son and I could have a conversation and not be yelling over the volume. We will definitely come back. We appreciate the social distancing and the way the menus were tossed away.“

“We made a spare of the moment decision as we were driving by to check it out. Can honestly say we were not expecting it to be as good as it was. They have authentic Chinese food on their menu along with American style. My husband ordered authentic and I had Hibachi.. no complaints.. flavors, presentation, portion sizes, service, all great! “Joe and Frank make everything by hand , the eggplant the sausage the meatballs the bread with just the freshest Italian ingredients. They both been cooking over 40 years . The green and beans is the best , momma Rosie’s fish is excellent, the meatballs are the best in the state I’ve eaten everywhere there great some special thing they do , the greens and beans and sausage pizza is great everything there is great especially the hospitality anyone knows Joe he’s the best person you’ll ever meet . Got my drink within 5 minutes of sitting down, waitress was attentive among the craziness of sports fans and food was delivered within 15 minutes!!! “I went to this place to pick up breakfast for two. The place was very clean and bright and the staff was very attentive. I’m trying to diet so I got a poached egg on toast and it was great. From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly. “Restaurant week in schenectady at we hit ferrari's. OMG. Nate our server was amazing. So was the gentleman bagging leftovers. Food even better but they were both great. $30 got me calamari, linguini and desert. Hubby got the pasta fagioli (a quart) and beef braciole. Delicious. Not our first visit never our last. Have left overs for 3 more people. Please keep them in business.“

“I’ve been meaning to try this place for a long time and I’m very glad my boyfriend and I finally made it! Amazing service and our meals, the bolognese and Vitello alla 72, were delicious. The calamari was also crispy and tender. The best part was they accidentally brought a caprese salad to our table and let us enjoy it for free, very generous for such an insignificant “mistake.” Great prices and not too loud or chaotic in there like some places that try to fit in as many tables as possible. “After enjoying their wings during the Wing Walk I decided to order myself dinner last night. I ordered fried chicken dinner. I had the leg and thigh and they were huge. My dinner came with candied yams, collard greens, potato salad, and a corn bread muffin. Everything was outstanding. I can’t believe I have never ordered from there prior to this. When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. “Food here is always delicious. My favorite is their spicy tuna roll. They have a special for 3 rolls for the price of two on certain days. My wife had the fried rice with chicken which she said was outstanding. My son loves their low mein noodles with chicken. A great selection of drinks and specials as well. We are here at least once a month and will keep coming back

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and we've been bringing our son since he was a newborn and they have always been great. He's 8 now and loves the place like we do.
