“I heard amazing things about Marisa’s so we finally tried it for the first time. We were originally going to get slices, but when we first walked in, there was no place to sit and have a slice. We would’ve had to sit in our car. The kitchen staff were not friendly, looked pretty miserable and had an attitude when we asked questions. Maybe it was the heat. It was a pretty hot day, but we decided to go into the dining room and sat at a high top by the bar because the dining room was rather small and they had reservations. Not a problem. The food was excellent. The bartender who was the waitress was so nice and personable. She provided a great service. She was attentive and very timely. My husband and I both ordered our own personal pizza which was a good size, we ordered the homemade mozzarella sticks and I had a house salad. Love the food! It was great. Our bill came to $60. We did not have alcohol. I don’t mind spending money on good food. We will definitely return.“

“My son and I stopped in on Sunday October 4 for the first time. We weren’t disappointed!! Nice clean tavern. Friendly bartender. Food was fantastic! Love my fries served hot. Even with the football games on the TVs my son and I could have a conversation and not be yelling over the volume. We will definitely come back. We appreciate the social distancing and the way the menus were tossed away.“

“We made a spare of the moment decision as we were driving by to check it out. Can honestly say we were not expecting it to be as good as it was. They have authentic Chinese food on their menu along with American style. My husband ordered authentic and I had Hibachi.. no complaints.. flavors, presentation, portion sizes, service, all great! Even the prices are reasonable. Worth a visit for sure.“

“Joe and Frank make everything by hand , the eggplant the sausage the meatballs the bread with just the freshest Italian ingredients. They both been cooking over 40 years . The green and beans is the best , momma Rosie’s fish is excellent, the meatballs are the best in the state I’ve eaten everywhere there great some special thing they do , the greens and beans and sausage pizza is great everything there is great especially the hospitality anyone knows Joe he’s the best person you’ll ever meet . “Went to Junior's yesterday for the NBA game and some MLB games. Service was great, bar was very busy but one of the bartenders Vanessa came right over and got me set up with a drink and a menu. after giving me some time to think she promptly came over and took more order and food came out very quick. food was delicious as always. both bartenders were awesome. I choose to come to Junior's over other bars because the staff always provide the best service and make Junior's a fun place to drink and watch sports. 10/10 experience“

“Best authentic NYC pizza in the upstate! I moved up to the capital region 8 months ago from SC, after 3 decades in FL (originally from Long Island) and since arriving, have tried 4 different pizzeria’s. This time though, as the saying goes, 3 times the charm, it was 4 times the charm…when I struck pizza gold from Paesan’s! Although I’ve only ordered pizza from Paesan’s for delivery, 3 times so far, I’m certain, judging by the 5 star quality ingredients, taste, price & presentation - dining in will be an equally delicious experience! You’d be insulting your good taste if you do not give Paesan’s a visit and your patronage! I will get my pizza no where else but from Paesan’s (and I’m a picky Sicilian/Irish pizza aficionado)! “I went to this place to pick up breakfast for two. The place was very clean and bright and the staff was very attentive. I’m trying to diet so I got a poached egg on toast and it was great. Loved whatever they seasoned it with. The other party got a big breakfast: eggs hash browns, etc and was raving about it. Nice place !“

From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! “We had a joyous birthday celebration at my son’s favorite restaurant. Akanomi’s staff and sushi chefs, itamae, excelled at all endeavors. Vivan was spot on with her suggestions and service. She anticipated all of our needs, especially with our children. The chicken soba soup, tuna carpaccio and Hawaii Rolls were our favorites. Then the sashimi / sushi mixed roll party docked. It was stunning in presentation, offerings and taste. Oh my, it was very impressive. A most wonderful time was had by all.“

I hadn’t been in awhile- used to go frequently, so I grabbed a to-go order of their excellent fettuccini bolognese and some bruschetta to take home after a very long drive- ❤️❤️❤️and had a glass of wine at their friendly and comfortable bar while I waited. It’s 100 degrees outside- so I wasn’t dressed (shorts and an ocean city tee lol) but it was early.. so I popped in to wait for my order. From reception to bar to the chef popping out with my order- to the other lovely guests who were popping in as well and enjoying banter and kind conversation.. the bartender primo making everyone happy- I can’t tell you how much that atmosphere warms my soul. Good people, great food, no pretensions, phenomenal service.. and I can attest from so many previous visits- a warm and inviting dining room where when they have music you never want to leave. The Homemade Dark Chocolate Bark with Cranberries and Almonds that they make in House they give you when they give you your bill is absolutely delicious and they should sell that for customer's to purchase!“
