“Sometimes you get the urge for some greasy, salty, and unhealthy fried chicken. That’s what happened last night.
Before, there was only KFC nearby to satisfy that urge. But now there’s a new competitor in West Haverstraw - Popeyes.
My wife and I decided to go there instead of KFC. After we arrived and parked, we looked through the windows. Bright, airy, and clean, but no customers. Oh, oh. Did we come to a place with bad reviews or health code violations? We were here already and HUNGRY. So we took a chance and went in.
And we were glad we did. The person behind the counter was friendly, patient, and helpful. Explained what was on the menu and assisted us with choosing and ordering.
We took a table and waited. After five minutes the order was ready. With drooling mouths we bit into the chicken. My wife exclaimed SO GOOD, DELICIOUS! I’m a quiet person, so I didn’t yell out and do backflips. But I agree with my wife; the chicken was delicious and juicy, much better than KFC.
My wife was so impressed she went to the counter and raved about the chicken to the people behind the counter.
In the future, we will be doing what the Terminator did:

“The cashiers aren't interested in greeting with a warm hello and a smile. They really aren't interested in clearing the lobby as quickly as possible.I felt as though i was interrupting a mass coffee break. I received eye contact from more than one staff member, and as fast as they acknowledged me, i was ignored just as swift.They were one employee who was more than helpful and welcoming. I am disappointed in myself for the fact that i failed to get his name.He was carefully packing the bags for online orders, and he flagged a disconcerting cashier, and i was then able to place my order.He was a well-spoken tall African American gentleman who took pride in his position. I just say his attentiveness was impressive.Whatever this gentleman puts his mind to will have a positive impact on society. Thank you for making my lunch enjoyable!“

“We hired the food truck for a graduation party this past weekend. It was a big hit! Everything was delicious! Also, so nice that they had gluten free options available as I had guests coming with dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend having them at your next event.“

“The white castle that's been here for decades went through a remodel during covid times.

Long gone is the window to see them cooking the sliders and the bench tables.

Now it's cut and dry interior of tables and chairs and window seats with a large space in the middle where additional tables could have been placed.

They sell merch: tshirts and caps and some other items.

The menu has expanded a bit more, so you have beef, chicken, fish, impossible to choose from.

“We visited the Nanuet NY location on Saturday 11/19/22. We were helped by both Anthony & Darryl. I would really like to extend a thank you to both those gentlemen on such wonderful service. We stopped in quick to order 4 sandwiches then visit with family, we had just driven about 2.5 hrs prior to coming into the store so where pretty cranky. The store was packed and these 2, as well as the other 3 team members, serviced everyone with smiles and thank yous. We walked out with smiles on our faces laughing. Please take a moment to recognize these 2 for incredible service. I did sent this to the corporate office as well, I do hope these 2 gentlemen are singled out for going above and beyond.“

“I pulled up in the parking lot and saw an employee taking out the garbage. She opened the dumpsters with her hands. She then came inside and grabbed a pair of gloves and started handling food. Please train employees on the importance of handwashing.“

“This is a good Mexican Burrito spot in Middletown, good quality food, good service.

I ordered a Make-Your-Own Burrito and it was delicious, reasonably priced too, it all depends on what kind of protein you choose that will determine the overall cost for your order. And the atmosphere of the place was solid to dine in.

The menu has a good variety as well, more so in comparison to Chipotle I have to say.

Overall a good Mexican Burrito/food, spot, I recommend giving it a go if you are in Middletown, Pearl River area. Would order/visit again.“

“It has been many years since I ate fast food or visited a Wendy's. I had to charge my car and didn't like the other food options near by. First, I was impressed with the food quality and the staff's exceptional professionalism. I ordered a double cheeseburger that didn't taste like a typical fast-food sandwich. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared, something I would expect from Mooyah or Shake Shack. Another plus is the friendliness of the manager; I hope she gets the recognition she deserves for her incredible work.“

“I've been here a few times since they opened. I mainly use the app and pick the order up inside. Every time I've gone inside, you have to order through the kiosk. There is no one that takes your order behind the counter unless you go through the drive thru. The limited interaction I've had with the staff has always been good. They are polite and friendly. The food is good like your typical taco bell. The place is clean and well maintained. It's only 9 months old, so hopefully, it stays this way.“

“As an Irishman spending 2 weeks in New York I wanted to try as many fast food joints as I could and taco bell was high up on my list. I went for a combo box with 2 pretty decent tacos , nothing mind blowing but good quality and nice flavours , the grilled cheese burrito was my favourite thing . So tasty, the beef burrito was fine , the seasoned fries with cheese sauce were excellent. Would love to have this in Ireland , the Baja Blast was excellent too“

“I'm not the type to do reviews for places, but after a year or so of frequenting this Wendy's I felt like sharing my opinion. I've been ordering from this Wendy's maybe once or twice every week (with some breaks in-between), since I started working at the Palisades Mall and I haven't gotten a bad experience even once. For starters, the quality of the food is always on point and that's one of the main reasons I keep coming back, also the choice of ordering through the app saves me minutes when I'm on break and have to come back within a certain time and the Meal Deals alongside the offers on the app are amazing. The other main reason why I keep coming back is that the people working there are always so friendly and quick that the possibility of getting poor service has never crossed my mind. Definitely on my Top 3 of food places in this mall, including restaurants, and I think you can guess which position it holds from this review.“

“I was on and out of town visit when I dropped by the store. The sandwich I usually get consists of vegetables only: spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, olives and banana peppers. Many stores act as if the spinach is just a topping rather than the base of the sandwich. This shop made the sandwich nicely. I had no complaints. They staff was also very patient while I signed into the subway app as I had forgotten my password and it took more time than usual. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.“

But keeping in mind what the Employees have to endure, working under strenuous conditions, many feel under paid, they sure need credit for their effort. My experience going to this Popeyes located on RT 59, Spring Valley NY has always been wonderful. The Manager named Vanesha, is extremely polite, and helpful. She is constantly on the lookout to see whether the other Employees are in need of assistance in helping the customers. And i must say the Fried Chicken is always Fresh and Hot. There are times my companion and I had to wait a few extra minutes while our order was being prepared. The only change i noticed, there's No More 'Refills' on Drinks!

“This Taco Bell is very well laid out with ordering kiosks and tables. The prices have definitely gone up. Food quality was what you would expect. I ordered via mobile. The order was ready quickly and there were no mistakes except for missing one of the sauces I asked for.“

As Taco Bells go, this is a superb one. Clean, open concept dining area. Courteous and efficient staff. Excellent early 2000s pop playlist (think No Doubt radio). The tacos were filled more generously than I'm used to, and the drink fountain was not out of order. Hell, they even have KFC available, if you're into that.“
