“I have tried almost everything on the menu and let me say, I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. The food is delicious, the portions are perfect and the price is right. Everyone is so pleasant as well. The last thing that I had the pleasure of trying was the Ackee and Saltfish. It tasted like HEAVEN. I'm very picky about that dish and I don't usually order that because everyone cannot make it. But I was pleasantly surprised. Reggae Cuisine has a customer for life. I definitely recommend 👌🏾 😌 ☺️“

“We always order using delivery apps though wanted to come in for the full experience. SO GLAD WE DID. First off, this has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. That made me feel really happy. Now to the food! Came for the Taco Tuesday Special and so happy we did. We came very late in the evening so we missed the jerk chicken tacos though I was not disappointed in the jerk beef tacos. Such a great deal and it was delicious. These were the full size tacos, not the minis. Run don’t walk as I’m sure this deal wont last. We also ordered the fried fish and grits , we paid for extra for more fish and so goad we did. I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. They offered us samples of their new fresh made sea moss which was delicious and we grabbed more to take home.

“My first time at Kingston Grill and I’d it weren’t for the professional, well mannered lovely lady at the counter it very well could have been my last. However, I will definitely return as in addition to the wonderful customer service experienced on Saturday July 22 at around 4pm. The food was delicious!!! I ordered the oxtail meal as well as sweet chili chicken wings. Awesome!!“

“Customer service was great over the phone. Amazing food. I ordered delivery (I didn’t do Uber eats, just called because I wanted the restaurant to receive 100% of the profit) and it came quick. I received a medium oxtail with macaroni and cheese. I would’ve taken a photo but it looked too good not to take a bite. I wish I got more oxtail because it was delicious!! The Mac and cheese was amazing — perfectly cheesy. I can’t wait to come back for more of their food options like the stew meat or even the banana bread (and tell everyone I know obviously)!

Edit: I got more food the next day! The stew chicken was as delicious as I hoped it would be alongside that AMAZING curry goat. The curry goat tasted like heaven — it tastes fresh off the island! The curry chicken was also very good and I got a great portion of everything. The standout had to be the beef patty which was the BEST Jamaican beef patty I’ve ever had. Now I got to buy one with every order!! I thought the bulla had a beautiful sweet spice to it. Perfect for any meal. Everyone I knew wanted a bite of the curry spiced bread as well. My sister said she’s going to order here everyday if she can ?. Overall, everything was perfect and I am glad there’s more yummy places to eat in this neighbourhood.

They have the best oxtails and vegetable rice around. The rice is seriously addictive. They also have a slamming hot sauce. You have to ask for the real hot hot sauce tho. Because they used to give me another hot sauce before a regular told me of this one. If you like perfectly spiced, fall off the bone, absolutely delicious oxtails. If you also like them with magic rice that you can eat buckets of till you explode in delicious rice goodness, then this is the place to get it from. They do not have any seating. This is a takeout-only spot. They also load up the containers. No skimping here. The staff is always nice as well. Keep up the good work guys.“

The oxtail was flavorful and falling off the bone. I also loved the jerk sauce they had on the chicken. Most importantly, the portion is hefty! The food reminded me of home. “I only order j*** pork & j*** chicken, and I most say that this is the BEST j*** chicken & pork I have EVER taste in America. I am hooked. It’s all about the flavor, and most restaurants just cook to sale, but Merrick J*** cook to please. They’re Potato pudding is good too.. not too sweet, but just right.

For lunch I had the curry goat which comes well-seasoned with rice and peas, steamed veggies and plantain. To drink I had a number 5 Sea Moss drink called “The Mac Body Heat” to wake up the body made of - Sea Moss, wheat germ, oats, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, roots and something called tigerbone! ???The waitress noted to me on the way out “Look after your wife tonight, the next day you might be getting a welcome visitor from the Creator!Great meal and the medium was mighty big for the money -$25 for the meal and drink! “Jamaican Flavors has never failed me. Over the years, whether it was a quick single meal because I didn’t feel like cooking or catering family event, the service has always been top tier. My family esp especially love that they have an economic option that serves about 8 and you can add (2) protein, a starch, a veggie and everyone gets a slice of cake and it comes with (2) large drinks. There’s always so much food left over after everyone eats. Can’t beat it.

The space is small and accommodates about 6 customers tailgating each other to get to the counter. Once you accomplish that, it moves along pretty quickly. The workers are nice and it’s seamless.

The hot counter offers all your major Caribbean staples: jerk chicken (boneless and bone on) , shrimp, curry chicken, curry goat, etc. They also have about (2) soup options daily and your baked goods like beef patty and coco bread. No review would be complete without the honorable mention of the Rasta pasta which you can get with or without added options of jerk chicken or shrimp. Baybeeee, let me tell you, this plate is KING. It’s like a warm hug that puts you to sleep.

At checkout you can add slices of cake or your fresh juices. My go to is a refreshing cucumber ginger that just hits every time. Great food at good cost and with excellent service.

Parking: The street parking is tricky. There are always people double parked and challenges getting your car out when you’re ready. If you can, park by MCU and walk over. Just be careful crossing.“
