“We had a really great experience here. We ordered a steak torta, steak tacos, birria tacos, jamaica, and horchata. The jamaica was very refreshing and the horchata was sweet and delicious. The steak was tender and well seasoned and the torta ingredients all tasted very fresh. The server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is great, the place is very clean and nicely decorated, and we enjoyed listening to music by various Mexican artists throughout our meal. “We used Mama Soup catering for my little ones drive by birthday. An employee came and set up the soup kettles and sandwiches along with plasticware and to go packages. He was professional, quick, covid safe and so very nice. Not only did everything look great, smell amazing and taste delicious, it was the perfect set up for those who drove by and departed as well as for those who stayed. My family and friends couldn’t rave enough about the food. Those who stayed had seconds and even took leftovers home. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we had. I cannot wait to use Mama Soup again or just stop by for some wholesome goodness! Thank you for making my sons day so special.“

“One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.

However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“

“An absolute and unexpected fantastic experience. The high quality food was freshly prepared and the service was so polite and friendly. They really understand takeout and pack the sauces and liquids separately so the food doesn't become soggy. The sushi and sashimi are prepared to order but they are very efficient and the wait time is not so long. Mizu is a huge step up from the usual asian takeout. It's restaurant quality.“

“I've been coming to the Roast Sandwich House about six times over the last 3 months, there's a young man here named Gio he is very courteous and if efficient and processing our orders and recommending the specials each week when we come here. Good staff is hard to come by and he probably deserves a raise. We seem to eat out a lot around the island and he is probably one of the best servers I've seen.“

“It's not dine in. I ordered on UE first but then started picking up to avoid all of the tacked on costs. Best egg rolls ever! They don't seem to reuse the oil so much that they taste off and they somehow have always made them so they're never dripping with oil. Obviously I haven't had a good egg roll in a while.

They also actually listen to preferences. I always ask for crunchy broccoli and am so disappointed when I get overcooked or soggy broccoli that will never reheat well. They have done this consistently. My go to Chinese spot now!“

“As a local for 34 years this has been my goto for takeout. But like most businesses it has slid a little post pandemic but I still feel it is the best takeout Chinese north of the Turnpike. My faves are spring rolls, steamed wontons in garlic sauce, spare ribs, boneless ribs, moo shu, chow fun, chow mei fun, beef with mushrooms, spicy Sichuan beef and lo mein.

One minor pet peeve. I love hot and sour soup. Their's is good. It is hot and it is sour but how is this hot and sour soup when there is NO meat, NO Sichuan pickles and NO black woodear mushrooms in it? If you love tofu and button mushrooms and are vegan you will most likely love it. A little disappointing but as I said, minor. Just order the wonton soup as they make some of the best wontons I've ever tasted. Nice thin skins with deliciously seasoned pork filling.

I've never had an issue with the service. Or with glove wearing. And never gotten sick. And their on-line ordering page works great. Convenient and very good food.“

The staff was friendly and courteous, and the layout of the restaurant, along with ample parking, made it convenient. It's a fantastic spot for a quick bite. However, if you're not a regular visitor, be prepared for the prices, as they may be on the higher side and could give you a bit of a sticker shock.“

“I always stop here on the way to the beach. Quick service, tables often cleaned. The green tea is delicious and consistent with other Panera Breads I have been to. Plenty of parking. There is lots of outdoor seating during the warmer weather. Bathrooms also are well kept and stocked. I will continue coming here frequently.“
