“We are true Indian FOODIES!! Our whole family loves Indian food. We have tried every Indian restaurant from Long Island & parts of Florida! Kiran Palace is the Best!!!! I am so happy they have finally brought back their LUNCH BUFFET!!! They did it in such a way that no one else does, they have the buffet table set up & bring out tandoori chicken as well as other dishes FRESH to your table as much as you want so these dishes don’t become dried out or soggy!! ALSO, they change different dishes every day, so we usually go twice a week & it’s always fresh!!! The staff is super friendly & makes us always welcome! They even have their buffet on weekends! They are closed on Tuesday. In case I haven’t said enough, WE LOVE KIRAN PALACE!!!“

When I called asking if you could accommodate a large party after plans to go into the city fell apart, you made it happen within a 1/2 hour even though you were super busy with other parties and on a Saturday night before Mother's Day. You welcomed us with open arms and treated us like royalty. You, Sal & your staff made sure we were happy, and we were. The staff is amazing. Patrizia's, as busy as it is all the time, never fails to provide the most delicious and fresh food and in abundance of it. The staff is very attentive and all work well together. My first visit to New Chill dates back 15 years, for countless years my family and I enjoyed 5 Star Indian/Thai fusion where the menu offers over 100 food items, each cooked to perfection. It seems after Covid the ownership/management changed hands, it was not the same.

Well the original Allstar team is back and tonight’s dinner did not disappoint. The menu is the same and we ordered our favorites, it felt like we went back in time.

So for those of you who have lost faith, consider faith no longer lost.“

“Hands down the absolute best Indian restaurant on Long Island. The Port Washington (I believe original) location is a very close second. The food is consistently outstanding. The portions are larger than other restaurant’s and containers are overflowing.

It does not specify that each entree comes with rice (don’t worry it does). Prices at this point are very comparable to other places where you will get less. Don’t sleep on this experience!“

“After spending all morning playing games at the next door Round1, this restaurant was a good spot to get a relatively inexpensive and filling meal. Luckily when we visited, they had a promotion for buy one get one 50% off for adult entrees. I also had some reward points saved up which I redeemed for $5 off and a froyo cone. Lunchtime was quite busy but the line moves relatively quickly. They have cute little carts for food trays so there's no awkward game of balance as you try to spot a free table. You can grab your own metal utensils (forks, knives, spoons) and peruse the cold offerings like dessert, sandwiches and salads before getting to the hot food area.

We got an order of classic Swedish meatballs and feeling adventurous also added on an order of their plant-based meatballs (which did not hold a candle against the classic Swedish meatball). IKEA members get a free hot coffee or drink so be sure to grab a white cup for this. Teabags were by the register and hot water was by the hot coffee dispensers. Glass cups are for the soft drinks.

8 meatballs is a good portion for one person (since the dish comes with mashed potatoes, gravy, lingonberry jam and peas). We shared 12 Swedish and 8 plant balls and left absolutely stuffed after clearing both plates. Also sampled a bit of all the soft drinks they had available and I liked sparkling pear and sparkling lemon (reminds me of Sprite...but healthy?) the best. Made myself a milk tea by adding a bit of half-and-half and a packet of sugar to my hot tea.“

Recently renovated. Went from a semi old school feel to a more modern, sleek, clean feel & look. The burger was good but it was dry and at times the bacon overpowered the whole burger. Sesame seed bun is a plus 👍Overall it would still be one of my go to diners.“

The owner is super sweet, and the service is always top-notch. Now, the food? Next-level!!! Also love how clean they keep the area at all times (with scents of incense, makes it more traditional😍), huge plus for me at a restaurant.

My absolute favorites are the gunpowder uttapam, malgudi dosa, podi dosa and moong dal dosa, each bite packed with authentic flavor, literally soul food for me!! Im already drooling 🤤. Pair them with their mouthwatering sambar, chutneys, and rasam, and you’ll be licking your fingers, I promise. Even their chai, idli, and vadas are pure, authentic goodness. The best part? They cook in desi ghee, which elevates everything though they have coconut oil as an option if ghee or other oils don't suit you. But trust me, go for the ghee, unmatched flavor!! No matter where ever I go in New York for Dosa, I keep coming back to HOD, for obvious reasons^.😋
