The staff is wonderful and the quality of the food is seriously amazing, and the margarita pie is on par with what you will find in Napoli. I also love the white and grandma pies. “Wow!! As we were waiting to be seated, two different people stopped at the pizza oven on their way out of the restaurant to compliment the chefs. One turned to us and said we're in for a treat, and the other described their meal as "so special and yummy." They were both 100% correct.The pizza was delicious!! We ordered the regular pie, didn't add any extra toppings, and it was incredible. Simple ingredients and so so tasty.The other dishes we ordered were great as well. Highly recommend getting the antipasto if you want an appetizer!! It was piled high with sliced meats and three different kinds of cheeses, all on a bed of arugula and seasoned tomato slices, PLUS a rice ball! Amazing value for the price (the picture I included was taken after I had already eaten some meat). And if you want dessert I highly recommend the housemade lemon pie, it was the perfect way to end the meal. Not too sweet and not too sour.“

“This place is great and I can't recommend it enough. Not only is the quality of food amazing but the staff and service have always been extremely friendly, welcoming with a non-pretentious attitude. This place is accesible for local Kingston residents, unlike some of the gentrification cafes that have popped up in recent years that cater strictly to tourists or recent, wealthy transplants. The prices here are actually fair- like it doesn't cost $12 for a breakfast sandwich with no meat on it- fair. Very clean and like I said, high quality taste in food. I always get a breakfast sandwich but their lunch options are great too. There is no better place to get a breakfast sandwich in Kingston. I love Fat Cat !“

“I stop here every now and then when I'm driving upstate to my brother's place by Rhinebeck. Him and his wife and kids (lots of kids) are all vegan, so I can generally get a good variety of treats for the house. The bakery products always look lovely and the store's overall aesthetic is very nice, but I find the actual taste and flavors to be very hit or miss- some things are excellent, some very mediocre- but there's so few vegan options upstate, so this spot is certainly filling a void. However, the staff very frequently are unwelcoming, sometimes to the point of outright rudeness. They seem to treat their paying customers in a very snobbish manner for some reason, which is unfortunate. I often walk out wondering why the overall experience was so strange, but I guess it's just something that you have to live with if you want to have a vegan dessert in the Hudson Valley.“

“Stopped in here on a Wednesday around 12:30PM when I was just passing by the city. There was only one other couple in the restaurant eating when I got inside. It seems like they have a lot of interesting options but I just went for a double scoop protein bowl of tuna. It was kind of expensive for what you got out of it but it tasted fresh and the pineapple miso sauce was really good! The workers were extremely nice and it was overall a good experience!“

Although the listing makes it seem like a food court, it is actually a single ordering counter that offers coffees and a variety of prepared food items. I wanted something light, so I tried the empanadas with chimichurri. Although the portion size was good, the filling tasted like "sloppy Joe" meat, and the sauce was sweet. The restaurant has ample indoor seating, and a nice outdoor deck. Parking is limited, and I was lucky to arrive before the lunchtime crowd.“

“Good great experience at the original Mickey igloo. I always take my dog there after I bathe him in Port Ewen. I get a medium vanilla cone and I give him about a half a cup. That's his treat for being such a good dog while he was getting his It's so delicious I love soft, serve ice cream it's one of my favorite things in the whole world.“

“My friends and I visited Brooklyn Cider House on a snowy Saturday, which was lovely because we were the only ones there upon arriving. The indoor area has a good amount of seating to accommodate visitors, and there's also items for sale lining the walls including snacks, drinks, etc. We all opted for flights, but their machine had an issue processing card payments likely due to the snowstorm. We were still able to place orders and pay later on once the issue was resolved. The dry flight was okay, the sweet flight was a little better. I wanted to order a particular one on tap, but it seemed they had a very minimal selection available for those. It would be nice if there were more tap options, as that form is always the best for ciders. It's worth stopping in if you're planning on hanging around New Paltz, but I wouldn't make an entire trip there for the cidery.“
