“I could scream this place is so good. Went on a totally random whim looking for something nearby and holy hell this place is incredible in every way and if I lived anywhere nearby I would basically move in.

The vibes are amazing - such highly curated art and seating from intimate booths to living room sofas and chairs. There’s tons of varied seating up front and then more tables and a wraparound bar in the back. It feels like a cozy 70s basement bar in Greenpoint.

Then there’s the food, omg. We tried the deviled eggs, fried chicken, brisket nachos, fries, and kale salad. All were 10/10. And cocktails were also delish.

“It’s tucked away down a narrow side street. Understated decor, small and intimate. Avoid wearing big coats and keep your voice down. There’s an outdoor patio as well (weather permitting), if you don’t mind the busier outdoor environment.

I’ve been eating here for over 20 years, and 3 girlfriends. When we say we want Sushi, we mean Hokkaido. My child’s first Sushi meal was here.

It can be very busy on weekends, especially during pleasant weather. I recommend you call ahead. A very large menu too, so, I recommend you study the menu online and have your ideas ready. They’ll help you with suggestions, but that means you’re slowing us all down.

Eating alone, then maybe eat at the bar and enjoy watching the sushi get maid.

I recommend the pan fried gyoza, edamame and string beans. I love the spicy rolls, eel and Monster roll. Take out available. Lots of fans order their food for pick up. But, I don’t like to transport my fresh food.

Had my first warm Sake here. Loved it.

I was recommended to this place and I’m very happy with the quality of the wings. I had Thai and extra hot wings. The only thing is that the extra hot wasn’t hot at all to me. But that’s just me and that certainly doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and the excellent service. Next time I’ll just specify exactly how hot I want the wings. “Very pleasant surprise! It was an AARP Promotion - free slice and beverage after speaking with an AARP volunteer. Never knew about Rocco's before this invitation to lunch. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our pepperoni slices and bottled iced tea. We were treated just as politely with our free meal as if we reached in our pocket to pay. We will definitely return for lunch/dinner when our travels bring us to New Paltz again!“
