Tom made the experience. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that comes across from the minute you start talking with him. He wasn’t just pouring wine—he took the time to tell us about the winery, the wines, and the work that goes into it. (My wife wants to retire with a winery lol) It felt like we were hanging out with an old friend rather than doing a typical wine tasting.

The wines were excellent, and there was a great variety. We ended up leaving with more bottles than we planned because there were just too many we enjoyed.

If you’re looking for a winery that feels personal, welcoming, and has great wine to match, don’t skip Prejean. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the Finger Lakes!“

Bryan learned our palette well and even allowed us to experience a vintage wine not on the tasting menu. There was plenty of staff there on a Saturday morning to give everyone the same dedicated attention we received from Bryan. Definitely a must stop!“

“Seneca Stag is a mix of some of the best beers I've ever had and some pretty incredible German food. We had the Charcuterie Board which was good but the shiner was the Jam Pork sandwich. The sours and cider were great for the ole lady, and I Iiked all the beers. Cool inside and allows Dogs inside and out. Lots of outside activities. Go go go!“

“We absolutely love the Spotted Duck Creamery—the ice cream here is truly some of the best we’ve ever had! Every flavor is so fresh and delicious, and it’s always a treat to bring friends and family when they’re visiting. That said, I was a little disappointed on our most recent visit. I arrived at 8:00 PM, and although they close at 8:30 PM, when I ordered the Seneca Flight (which includes eight different flavors), they opted to split it into two cups—four scoops in each—instead of serving it in the traditional flight style. I was especially excited to share the full flight experience with my family visiting from Virginia Beach, so it was a bit of a letdown not to get the signature presentation. Overall though, it was still a great experience, and the ice cream itself never disappoints. I’d just encourage the team to consider offering the full experience up until closing, especially for guests who make a point to arrive before the posted hours end. We’ll definitely be back!“

Did I mention the beautiful view of Lake Seneca? Their vegetable garden is decorated for the spooky season and welcomes a few wanderers. It was the perfect end to the day! “This past weekend we visited Lamoreaux for a wine tasting. Keep in mind it is winter and slow season. Some places in the area had also closed due to the weather but they had stayed open and I am so glad we had the chance to do a tasting here. The location itself is beautiful. Michaela was so kind and knowledgeable on the wines. Every winery has its own characteristics and selection and she knew theirs very well and made some wonderful suggestions based on what we had liked so far. She went above and beyond for us. The atmosphere was perfect and we easily spent an hour here having a relaxed tasting and chatting with our server as well as other guests.“

They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

We chose the venue a little over a year ago and Brad and Megan were with us every step of the way planning and organizing our special day and it turned out perfect! From karaoke nights, to brewing our own beer to have on tap for the reception, to my wife being invited to play trumpet for one of their live music nights, you couldn't ask for a better place to call home.
