They are both so kind and full of love. I felt like I was visiting my family. They answered all my questions and got me excited for the food. I was able to watch them make everything and wow, wow, wow! I could watch them make magic all day! I felt like I was watching a cooking show. Are there any producers out there? Get them a show asap! The FOOD! Wow, so many fresh vegetables, flavors were on point, and every bite was filled with love! Stop reading and go now! I live an hour away and yep it was worth the drive. “Our experience was pleasant. The food was delicious and presented exceptionally. Appetizers and main dishes were served hot and great presentation. Drinks were perfect as well as the dessert choices. Dessert, coffee and after meal drinks just added to the whole meal and dining experience. Definitely will recommend and return soon.“
“I have visited this restaurant twice. That is a positive sign by itself. Sotanos is located on Main Street in Fishkill, NY. The area is easy to get to as it it right off of I 84 and Route 9, a major thoroughfare. There is ample parking in the back of this white, quaint, vintage house turned into an eatery. That's a good thing because at peak hours, there is no Street parking to be found. You will be greated immediately upon arrival and seated in one of the dining areas to the left OR at the small bar to your right. We ordered fried calamari and shrimp ? wrapped in bacon ? as appetizers. A universal truth is that bacon makes everything taste better! Both were tasty and devoured so fast that I forgot to take pretty, unmolested pictures of them. You will notice immediately that the portions here are adequate, so you do not feel robbed, but unless you had gastro surgery, there will not be a lot of take out boxes clogging up your refrigerator You get JUST enough with lots of sauce to trick the ? eyes into thinking ? the plates ? are loaded. The main courses ordered were a fillet mignon with scallops and a "crispy" duck that was not crispy at all. Reportedly, the duck was delicious, but the crispy description was on the menu. The steak was a good grade, tender, and prepared to my liking. The scallops were some of the best ? that I ever had. As you can see in the picture, you don't get many of them. Gelato as a desert is my recommendation. The service was excellent. I like the non rushed eating experience on well spaced tables on beautiful, 100 year old broad plank floors. The bathroom was clean. I can see a pretty good wait for this room if the place is crowded. If memory serves me, it is a single use bathroom. It's a VERY nice place to go for a delicious meal, perhaps for a special occasion. I would and will absolutely visit again unless I can find a comparable restaurant with slightly larger portions for the price. Sotanos is a wonderful experience although not a great value. “Every time I asked my friends for a good place to get seafood in Orange County NY I kept being referred to Tasty Crab House. My husband and I one evening randomly decided to go check it out and all o have to say is that we are so happy that we did. The prices were fair and the toast and quality of the food was excellent. We ate so much food and still had enough to take home. (Women’s bathroom stalls were not tidy).Wheelchair accessibility: The entire restaurant appears to be accessible (including restrooms).“
“Went for my b'day the other day because I saw it was new & I called & they said they had indoor seating. We got there & it was a typical take out w/2 tables. I complained & the guy was extremely apologetic, so we decided to do take out because the reviews were excellent. The food was delicious! We got awesome bang bang shrimp for appetizers. My husband got chicken w/snow peas & I got Kung Pao shrimp. All were fresh & amazing!We were pleasantly surprised that the guy comped us w/creamy crab rangoons & wrote Happy Birthday on the box!Love that it's a woman-owned restaurant too. We'll definitely come back & I'm letting my friends know to go!“

“Really enjoyed this spot. Nestled in an unassuming strip mall, this really cute Italian seafood restaurant really delivered on quality and quantity. Went out as a multigenerational family of 6 with a kid, and everyone found something to eat. The beer battered cod special was exceptional and bountiful, the broccoli linguine with garlic & olive oil was delicious and voluminous, and the broiled salmon and cod were exceptional. Moz sticks didn't disappoint either. Coming back here for sure.“
