“This is a really delicious Italian restaurant on the South Shore of Long Island just north of Long Beach. Open for lunch everyday with regular specials.

You should consider if have a large party and/or have young children. They are very accommodating.

Food was fresh and delicious.

Service was excellent. All staff were very attentive.

Clean restaurant, clean bathroom that has paper towels to dry your hands.

Parking can be tough in the evening and summertime.“

“The pan seared roasted chicken is amazing!!! My family and I found this place a few weeks ago. It's a beautifully decorated, clean and fairly new establishment with a very polite staff. My children have had the ravioli, the penne and the chicken fingers and each loved their meals. It's a hidden gem that we are happy to have found :)“

“My go to place for special occasions. Mike always makes us feel at home. Not only is the food fantastic, but the staff is helpful and kind. They even went out of their way to help my handicap mother get in and out of the car! Food is delicious and tons of variety when compared to the standard Italian restaurant. “We had a last minute reservation for 8 people, and we were lucky enough to snag a table. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE! Our entire table loved the food. From the appetizers (the warm bread, the amazing carmalized onion spread, & the Calamari), to the main courses (the NY strip steak, the shrimp, and the ravioli), to the dessert (trust me... get the bread pudding!) everything was impeccable. “We had Thanksgiving dinner here with my two boys. The service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress was amazing . The food was beyond what I expected. Well done!!!! The portions were beyond believable and believe it or not the take home portions were just as amazing as they were when first brought out. More than 5 stars. The food is delicious; there’s too much food there’s always at least two meals for each order the food that you make. “Meta always goes above and beyond for a fabulous dining experience. This past Sunday, I called to see if it was possible to bring in an Elvis impersonator for my Dad who is in remission from cancer. Not only was Roberto and his staff receptive to the idea, the whole restaurant was singing along with Elvis and all of us. This night was truly magical and I cannot thank Roberto and his staff enough for making my Dad’s dining experience so memorable. The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and the dessert was delicious. If you haven’t tried Meta, I highly recommend this fine restaurant for a wonderful night 🎉“

“From start to finish I can’t say enough what a wonderful experience we had planning and hosting my daughter’s bridal shower. From the food to the staff it was amazing…. I messed up the table seating on 2 tables and the staff was quick to fix my error when a few guests had no seat…The set up was a breeze, they worked with all of us to get all of the decorations set exactly how we wanted it …. Kudos to Sal one of the owners who I had my initial contact with and to Mike the maître D who helped to make this event a success.
Myself and the guests couldn’t say enough wonderful things!

I ordered takeout tonight for six people in my extended family and served it family style, and everyone was raving about the food. We ordered Scallops Oreganato, Shrimp Stuffed with Crabmeat, Chicken Francese, Zuppe di Clams White Sauces and a few appetizers and it was all superbly prepared. Several of us were from other towns and repeatedly asked me how to find this place so they could visit in the near future.“

“Excellent Italian in a very competitive restaurant scence in Rockville Center. Been there for decades and it is a local gem. The food is awesome but I do not like that they do not give pasta with an entree but rather give mashed potatoes. Pasta can be ordered ala carte. A little silly if you ask me but those are the rules. They close promply at 9pm and last order taken is at 830pm so be aware of that. Excellent wine list. Amarone choices are great.“
