Highly recommend chole pathurey, dry gobi Manchurian, creamy tandoori paneer tikka, shahi paneer, dal Makhni and especially the strawberry and mango bubble teas! Literally my favorite summer drink right now! And of course mango lassi! Both are not too sweet, which is great for people like me who don’t like overly sugary drinks. Maubi was my beverage (perfect: not overly bitter nor overly sweet.) The service was really good from what one would expect from an over the counter food shop. I love the Guyanese accent of the woman who took my order. Oh, I had a mango smoothie to go, to top off a nice experience. There are more foods to try. I will be back!”

Must try kala buna and any of the briyani.

“I just got back from a trip to NYC and my brother-in-law treated us to dinner from The Halal Guys in Midtown and I knew it would be good since it was the only food cart with a block-long line after midnight. In fact I liked it so much I wanted to see if I could get something similar nearby... and I found it! I got the chicken and lamb over rice combo and while it wasn't quite the same it was still very good. The only difference is it didn't come with the pita bread and the white sauce tasted a bit different, but not bad. It also has more veggies so more "crunch" but next time I'm going to ask to leave them off (I just don't like the crunch...). I'm very happy to have a local option at a good price and generous portions. Thank you Sam's.”

The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! I’d love to shake the owner’s hand, but that will have to wait until social distancing is behind us! I’m definitely bringing all my friends, and recommending this spot to my coworkers! They need to hire security for the amount of illicit activities occurring here young kids fighting, drug sales and everything you get when you have an large open space in the ghetto and no control.
