The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! I’d love to shake the owner’s hand, but that will have to wait until social distancing is behind us! I’m definitely bringing all my friends, and recommending this spot to my coworkers! No food photo cause I legit inhaled my meal!”

We had the mango lassi, the tandoori paneer tikka, samosas and the baingan bharta …. All delicious especially the tandoori paneer tikka ! We visited the south ozone park location which was more of a takeout kind of set up so the seating was limited but that doesn’t take away from the food though. Service was super friendly ! “I had a midday lunch of curry chicken, chana, dahl (in separate container,) and buss-up shot roti. The spicy flavors were all excellent. The pepper flavor in the dahl was an exciting surprise. Maubi was my beverage (perfect: not overly bitter nor overly sweet.) The service was really good from what one would expect from an over the counter food shop. I love the Guyanese accent of the woman who took my order. Oh, I had a mango smoothie to go, to top off a nice experience. There are more foods to try. I will be back!”

“I just got back from a trip to NYC and my brother-in-law treated us to dinner from The Halal Guys in Midtown and I knew it would be good since it was the only food cart with a block-long line after midnight. In fact I liked it so much I wanted to see if I could get something similar nearby... and I found it! I got the chicken and lamb over rice combo and while it wasn't quite the same it was still very good. The only difference is it didn't come with the pita bread and the white sauce tasted a bit different, but not bad. It also has more veggies so more "crunch" but next time I'm going to ask to leave them off (I just don't like the crunch...). I'm very happy to have a local option at a good price and generous portions. Thank you Sam's.”

“This place was a godsend when I had a multi-hour layover in JFK after a long international flight early in the morning; it's very easy to get to by AirTrain and saves you from paying airport prices for the McDonald's breakfast menu when you're still on Asian time and in the mood for dinner - in fact it's cheaper than McDonalds' off-airport prices these days. The staff spoke English and were willing to explain what things were; I had a nice cup of coffee, some tasty empanadas and a fried croquette filled with minced shredded chicken and vegetables. It is a great choice for anybody that has a lengthy layover in JFK during a meal time, especially if you need to change terminals and leave the secured area anyway.”
“It is a very nice deli, and they have a fair amount of products. I had a turkey and swiss on a roll, lettuce, tomato and mayo. It was very good, reasonably priced at five dollars, especially on Hillside avenue. Definitely will go there again!”

“This was probably the best “Chicken Curry” I’ve ever had. The dish was accompanied by a side of cabbage that, at first, seemed boring. But I was trying to do it authentic all the way. The cabbage was delicate but still had enough bite to it which means they did not overcook it. I am super glad the I did. The dish was soooo delicious. You also get a side of sweet plantains which just end the meal superbly. They are cooking for real here. Looking forward to going back very soon.”

I have NEVER had anything bad here....their fresh made drinks are crisp, refreshing and tasty. This place stays busy and the chefs are constantly at work turning out fresh trays as they sell out quickly of their items.
I started coming here when they 1st opened and haven't stopped since, I had to pace myself a bit because I was coming here a few times a week not just for me but family members and they loved the food too😄😁.
I have had many different dishes from oxtail, fish/shrimp, rasta pasta, porridge etc. and everything was well seasoned+great portion sizes:I always have enough left over for another day or to share.
I get a bit overwhelmed at times because everything always smells+looks good...I patiently wait if need be as I know what I'm getting is top notch👍🏼.
You must also try their Pumpkin Rice🎃 a delicious alternative to white rice/rice&peas but this sells out way too fast for my taste lol.

Immaculate bathroom, quiet & clean lounge area, chill atmosphere throughout. A hidden gem tucked away near the elevator & across the hall from the Virgin Atlantic lounge. Way, way better than another lounge downstairs we checked out in terminal 4.
Chairs could be more comfortable and air conditioning could be better, but still my favorite lounge ever and hoping to check out others belonging to Air India in the future!”

The prices are very reasonable, which makes it even better. Portions were good, everything tasted homey and authentic.
Only thing to keep in mind is that the place is quite small — more of a cozy, casual spot than a big dine-in restaurant. Might get tight during busy hours, but if you're going for the food, it’s worth it. Great little find in Bethpage.”

It’s a great location right after passing security and it is comfy and spacious. The staff were welcoming and attentive. And I must say that the breakfast was so good.
