“I work 12 hour shifts near here and I’m always soooo tired halfway through. I come here for a quick pick me up. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. She went an extra mile to charge me for a medium despite me ordering a large! Soooo sweet. ??“
“The food here was AMAZING! And the atmosphere is great. Overall a wonderful place for a bite to eat! We had the Hawaiian torta and the birria burrito and both were absolutely amazing and super filling!!! Plus they had a bunch of Mexican snacks/drinks and it looks like they also have Mexican ice cream. I’m definitely coming back !“
“Stumbled upon this joint randomly on my way home and what a surprise!The staff is really friendly and explained some of the sandwiches for me, decided to get the Chimi with chicken and the lava cake. Both were delicious and not the mention the fair prices.Although they don’t have an indoor sitting area, they have a small outdoor hut if you’d like to stay and dine in.Truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood, can’t wait to try some of their other specialities!“
“This coffee shop is a gem. It’s neat, modern, clean, and the atmosphere is super soothing. There are words of affirmation on their mugs, which was a nice surprise.I had a latte with oat milk and it was refreshing. Seems to be a good place to order some coffee, read a book or get some work done. I didn’t get to check if there was WiFi or not, but this is a place I’d be willing to use my hotspot for.The staff were very warm and welcoming — I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the neighborhood to try a pastry or two! “I stopped by go nuts for sweets because I needed a quick gift for a last minute bday party. The lady was super sweet. She had me pick out the items I wanted and she put it all together for me and made me this basket looking so cute for the birthday girl. As I waited, I also ordered a tiramisu bubble tea. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t know how that would taste but I’m so glad I did!! The drink was super delicious girl let me tell you! It was incredibly difficult to find, since the store is not labeled outside, but when I did, I went inside and the menu is updated from what is currently on Yelp. The staff were all very friendly, and accommodating. The flavors were totally unique and cannot wait to visit again!!“

The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable.They had a good variety of flavors and toppings, and we couldn't resist tasting a few. Each scoop was a burst of flavor, and the texture was incredibly smooth. I personally liked blackberry and pistachio ones. “In this part of queens it's hard to find a tasty fresh Brazilian cheese bread and this is the place. Don't be put off by it's location- it's located in the back of a Brazilian clothing/ bathing suit store and it's quite the gem. They have different sizes of the bread. I opted for the bigger ones and they were 3 dollars each or 2 for 5. It was soft crusty fluffy and cheesy. Just the right amount of cheese and chew flavor. The lady working the store was super nice and even though I don't speak Portuguese- I had no problem ordering. Please give them a try! This is the definition of mom and pop dive“

“I came here and got the 32oz bango açaí bowl($16.30). I got the bowl with the blueberries, strawberries, banana, honey and granola. The fruit tasted fresh and the honey was nice and sweet. I like the fact that the granola was all throughout the bowl. There's free parking in the rear of the building and an entrance.“

“Came to this place which is next door to the Blink Gym I went to earlier today. There seriously need to be more Juice bars close to gyms but I digress. I wanted to try the spot out for a post workout smoothie. They had a good selection and what caught my eye was the Cookies and Creme Muscle Up protein shake, the flavor is as it says plus I believe there was banana I tasted in there too, it was refreshing. I could've had a Panini there too but I was pressed for time and speaking of pressed, the joint is small, it's almost hard to breathe in there but I believe it's meant to be a place to get your stuff and go. The shake was delicious and I might prepare in advance to get another smoothie and a sandwich the next time I come there.“

“I've been a lot since I've lived here in the past 4 years. I've tried at least half of their menu. It's pretty good honestly. It's a little pricier than other spots in comparison, but so far I've had no complaints with the quality. Also service has been nice and straight forward too. My biggest issue is their hours. They don't always seem to open on time (10am) like they say they will. Their start time seems to be too late already with Planet Fitness right next door. I can't be the only morning workout person who would want a smoothie at least by 8:30-9am. It seems counterintuitive to business. Anyway, that's just a side thought on the way to the point that they are worth going to.“
“First time buying a salad here after getting a salad from Chopt the day before. I must say Health Kitchen is better. One thing about health kitchen is that they have a lot more dressing options, and more importantly, their dressing is made in-house. The staff is super friendly, and are willing to give you samples to ensure you like what is offered. The staff does an excellent job with the up keep of the store. It's super clean! Fresh ingredients and clean store, what better combination. I highly recommend the Sante Fe salad with the cilantro dressing (if you like a little spice). I tried their smoothies over the summer and it was slamming. I will be coming back here often.“
“So I took a trip to my old stomping grounds for some fun and during that excitement I met a lady named Tiffany. Through our talk she let i know that she owned a healthy juice bar....ok cool. As I love to support local businesses and especially a Black owned and Woman owned business I knew I was going there before I left Brooklyn. I'm glad we did too because this spot is quaint and very inviting. Expect to be greeted by a smile and recommendations. I tried the Strawberry Banana Smoothie (recommended by the Owner) and it was so good. Not too sweet just the way I like it. I can't remember exactly now what my Sisters had but they was slurping them thangs down as we walked back to our car!!! So when in Brooklyn head on over to meet Tiffany and her crew you won't be disappointed. Oh and cop a seat outside the bar and people watch while sipping.“
“Todays my birthday so I was claiming the free birthday bowl I ordered for pick up asap. Store hours claim to be 8 am they weren't open ... 8:10 am still wasn't open . I have work in the morning can't just wait till someone decides to show up. So I called left a voicemail to not make it because I had to go. Sad I wanted my birthday bowl. If they don't open at 8 am they should change it on every platform and the app. So now I have no bowl and I was late to work. :( Update: The owner was kind enough to personally call me and reach out to me. She is very sweet. Of course the one day I go this happened but I will say they are open and have been open I pass by this place everyday before work. I will be going in to get my smoothie soon. “Recently got a poke bowl with shrimp and spicy salmon, portions are pretty filling and a lot of selections to choose from to add into the bowl. The strawberry banana smoothie is my favorite, along with the bubble tea, mainly their mango milk tea and taro. There isn't much seating inside, mainly a take out spot I would assume. Limited street parking and the area can get busy during the weekends. Definitely recommend for everyone to try out!“

The fruits were fresh and frozen so you really get to enjoy each and every bite ? I would call ahead of time just to avoid the wait, but the staff was friendly. So happy to have found a place out here in Queens where I can get my Açaí bowl. I be here a few times a week on my lunch break lol ??????“
