“Earlier this morning..... My first experience at Door Restaurant in the borough of Queens.... OMG I tried the Traditional Jamaican Breakfast: Liver, Saltfish, Callaloo, provisions omg. Couldn't eat it all but I killed the Saltfish. Restaurant wasn't crowded. Good service.. I still have enough leftovers for a few more meals 😂😂😂😂 My friend enjoyed her jerk chicken with peas and rice.. 😋“

“Some people prefer quality over quantity. But this was both. Most cheesiest rasta pasta $12 and added jerk chicken $7 iv ever eaten. Also the portion size was so much that the container couldn't close. Check them out. I'd recommend.“

Pair your j*** chicken dish with the sorrel drink - tastes like a tropical ginger beer. Cabbage was cooked soft and not soggy. Get your j*** chicken fix at the country life. Worth a visit.“

“Went here today for the first time. I got thru mac and cheese, with fried shrimp and cabbage. Hands down one of the best mac and cheese I've had to date. Not to salty, but full of flavor, right amount of cheese. My husband got the rice and peas, salad and jerk chicken. Another delicious dish, jerk chicken was one of the best we've had. We'll definitely be returning when we're in the mood for Jamaican food.“

“This is where you go for authentic down home Jamaican food. Not a fancy place but the food is like Grandma use to cook and they have many old time Jamaican dishes not ordinarily offered in most Jamaican restaurants like run down, seasoned rice, pumpkin rice, cornbeef and cabbage..only downsides are usually no fried plantain offered and they don't accept debit/cards. Now taking debit/credit cards as of about 3-4 months ago. Chef is friendly.“

“All I can say is that Genesis makes good food! DONE!!! The service can take a while sometimes, so I usually call ahead. The staff is friendly & professional. They are my go to spot for Jamaican meals. I’m just finishing up yet another delicious meal from them. The brown stew chicken and oxtail is UNDEFEATED! Tue meat is seasoned all the way through. So good!!!!

“My taste palate honestly couldn’t ask for anything better than the delicacies at Port Royal Restaurant. The place is clean and well-kept, and the steam table is always on point. The food's layout looks amazing, and the presentation really grabs your attention. The staff is stellar. The food is well-prepared, and the portions are absolutely worth the price. The taste is by far the best I’ve had. It’s exactly like the real, authentic Jamaican dishes you’d get back home. I even drive across town just for this mouthwatering delicacy.“

“I purchased a medium-sized curry chicken with rice and peas, along with a slice of bread pudding, all washed down with a bottle of mango fruit juice. The total cost was a reasonable £18. Surprisingly, although I have eaten here many times before, the curry chicken did not suit my taste this time. I couldn’t quite pinpoint the issue, but it seemed a bit too greasy for my palate.
