“I will rate this place somewhere between three and four. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff were courteous and friendly, well deserved 5-star rating. The food is a hit and miss. You need to know what to order in this place, otherwise, the dining experience could be unpleasant to your palates. The ribs in the cage looked fun but not impressive while eating them. The bathrooms were super unpleasant. It is a publicly shared bathroom and is poorly managed.Vegetarian options: There were not a lot of vegetable dishes here, but decent selections. Need to specify no meat for special dietary requirementsParking: The parking lot is expensive in the basement, and SUPER DIRTY AND SMELLY in the stairwells.“
“The boss is very nice. He is very particular about the selection of store managers. The fish tastes great. Sometimes there is no fish when I come here. This means the ingredients are fresh enough. I deserve the good business. I come here to eat when I don’t want to go to Flushing. Highly recommended.“
“First time trying their hotpot. Their soup base was very flavorful and smelled delicious. The food was also really fresh. The marinated meat was my favorite. My waitress kexin recommended me a lot of the dishes, and she was very knowledgeable of the menu. Amazing person! Definitely come back again.“
“I ordered delivery and wasn't sure what to expect, maybe it was another mediocre yet hyped-up restaurant? Would the food arrive soggy or tough? But I was SO impressed. I ordered the tea smoked duck, Chongqing chicken, and crispy eggplant and it was all incredible, up there in quality with higher end Sichuan restaurants in the NYC area that charge double and give half the portions. I can't wait to try out more from their menu, hopefully next time in person!“
“Excellent decor, you can miss it from it's non descript exterior but once you walk through the door it opens up into a large space with fully stocked bar and a pleasing aesthetic. The beef tripe in chilli sauce is excellent and my favorite off the menu. They also give generous portions of both food and wine for a great price that doesn't break the bank.“
“The Szechuan cuisine scene in Flushing is unparalleled! The "Water-boiled Beef" is incredibly tender and flavorful, while the "Crispy Eel Shreds" offer a delightful crunch and aroma, perfect for pairing with wine. Their "Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs" and "Pea Shoots" are excellent choices for rice accompaniments. Plus, the servers, affectionately referred to as "rice bowl wizards," provide excellent service and make you feel right at home. Can't wait to return for another round of culinary delight! ??“
“this is one of those places that you go to with 10 people and order 10 different things and they are all completely amazing. not recommended for any dietary restrictions. use google reviews to point at different pics of what you want and be adventurous at the menu—this combo will yield varied and dependable results. new years day 2024.“
“The squirrel fish is really delicious, you must order it when you come here! ! ! It's so delicious. It's cooked just right, the aroma is overflowing, and the taste is mellow. You can't help but take one bite after another. It's tender and juicy, melts in your mouth, crispy and delicious, and has endless aftertaste.“
“Came here on a whim after having a hard time deciding on a place to eat. Best decision ever as everything we ordered was delicious. The service here is great too, they train the staff here well. This spot is now a must visit whenever im in nyc. Go to orders are the Peking duck with the salt and pepper duck bones, preserved ham fried rice and szechuan string beans. Those three dishes are ? ? ?.“
“My first impression of this Hot Space restaurant is their staff is very friendly and willing to answer your questions. For a first time visitor, that's definitely helpful. When we ordered the food, the waitress patiently explained what are the menu and what are the dishes they are known for. She even suggested the spiciness, and warned us the extra ingredients might ruined the perfect flavor. The restaurant prepared the food in the kitchen to maybe 95% done, and then sent the grilled fish in a tray on a stove to our table. The server told us to wait a few minutes for the flavor to fully sink in.We got the strip bass with the golden combination. The fish was grilled just right. The skin was crispy and easily separated from the meat. The meat was at an excellent tenderness. Under the fish were the golden combination ingredients we ordered. They added ample spices to create the flavor and sauce to dip the fish into. After the meal, we overheard that the restaurant doesn't do takeout. I think they want their diners to enjoy their dishes at the best quality. Takeout orders simply can't do justice.“
“I really enjoyed the sour pickle fish and sweet and sour pork here. There’s also something for everyone, my mom’s vegetarian and we got the cauliflower dish for her and it was very flavorful. For dessert we topped it off with their bing feng and it was really refreshing. The service was also very fast and accommodating!“
“I have just sold my first-class mansion in Tomson. I can eat the private dishes here as I want. I contacted several small loan companies in the port, Ola. We are country bumpkins. Just love eating fish. Eat whatever you want. Gang Gang Di is Lu Gude. good “
“I love this place!!! I haven't tried most of their menu items, but if you ask me what to get the first time coming to this place, it is definitely the Mapo Tofu. Their Mapo Tofu is DIVINE with a nice balance of flavor, heat & texture that you probably won't get anywhere else in Main Street. Then, when coming here the second time around, I would get their double cooked pork, followed by their Sichuan fried rice for a third. It is a BIT pricey but I promise you that it is worth it. Definitely check this place out when visiting Main Street Flushing.“
“We were looking for a place to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday. We live in Manhattan and needed a place where we could host up to 80 people with easy parking and good food. All of the usual ideas weren’t cutting it for us so my father-in-law who lives in Woodmere suggested Jackie’s place as an option. My wife was a little hesitant at first. I think she had her mind made up with some of the more traditional options like an ice cream parlor or room somewhere with catering. But her father and Jackie talked some more and sent her pictures of the location and the idea of hosting here grew on her.Jackie had never hosted this kind of party but he and my wife worked out the details in terms of setting up a buffet, the right cost per person, the time (on Feb 10, Chinese New Year) and the decorations. Everyone was a little nervous, including her father who kind of felt like he set us up on a blind date: we hadn’t had the food or actually visited the place.Cut to the party and it wound up being absolutely amazing in every regard. My biggest concern was the food. My family loves Chinese and who knew it would be so delicious. I knew the other details would be fine in the end and people being together would make the party fine regardless, but bad food would have been trouble. Not only was the food not bad, it was truly Delicious! We had trays of dumplings, spring rolls, cold sesame noodles (often tough to get good ones but not here!), Sesame chicken, pork chow fun, shrimp with vegetables, lo meins, fried rices, Mongolian beef, and lots more. We figured we would have food to take home and were shocked at just how little left overs there were. And this was not due to lack of volume but instead to how much everyone ate.I could say lots more about Jackie’s first time hosting an affair like this, and about him as a host, and about the party being so successful. But bottom lines are these:1. If hosting a kid’s birthday or other such event at a Chinese restaurant wasn’t a thing, it should be now2. Call Jackie to host your next event. You won’t be sorry3. Come any time for a meal or takeout. If Delicis was in downtown Manhattan, it would be insanely popularThanks Jackie and Delicis staff for your time, communication and amazing food. Hoping you start hosting events like ours more frequently!“
“If you're looking for a skewer place this is the spot. Skewers are super cheap 60c each plus you can also order additional items from their menu. Get the spicy broth along with the pork bone. The spicy broth definitely has a kick if you are a fan of spicy food. Definitely goes well with the skewers plus an ice cool beer ! The restaurant is spacious with enough tables; there are a lot of different variety to choose from. They also give you a bag to put your jacket so it doesn't smell and an apron so your clothes don't get dirty. The service is top notch no complains there ! Will definitely be back! My go to hotpot spot for the cold winter weather !“
“The food was great! General Tso’s chicken lunch special was reasonably priced at $12-13 and it was plenty of food! The water was ice cold and refreshing, which isn’t always the case. The service was great as well. I would recommend it to anyone passing by.“
“Pretty good ma la dry pot but it’s expensive to build—a bit much to charge $4 for cilantro in your food!! Standard at other dry pot places is do this by weight instead of charging per ingredient which I think is also more fun as you can control the quantities you want for different ingredients and can build a more robust pot. Overall, food is good and I may return to try other things“
“Yum, yum, yum! After hearing about this restaurant for a long time, I was afraid of queuing and chose a rainy day to eat there. As a result, there were no people. We were the first table. Not long after we arrived, we saw the boss carrying fish and vegetables freshly bought from the market, so we decided to order fish for the four of us. I personally ordered four dishes and the Chongqing people were very satisfied.1. Yanwu fish, the signature fish? The fish was very delicious and very tender. The boss came out and apologized to us and said that today's fish was too small, but we all thought it was okay. My friend who was traveling with me also said that it was the freshest fish that I had eaten in the United States. It had no peculiar smell, was very fresh, and didn't even have any scales. The boss said that he came back. I also cleaned the fish scales myself, so it’s very clean.2. The stir-fried yellow beef is also delicious, spicy, spicy and tasty. It goes very well with rice. It’s made with green peppercorns!3. Husband and wife beef slices are delicious. They look freshly mixed. They are completely different from other places. There are many different kinds of offal. Everyone loves them.4. I have never eaten this dish in Chongqing, but when I asked the boss what it was, he recommended it and said that it was very suitable for the other dishes we ordered. It really tasted very comfortable. The mustard greens and potatoes were added to the soup, which was a bit bitter and very suitable. Serve after eating spicy foodIt was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures... I only took a picture of the stir-fried yellow beefI was probably the only customer that day. When the boss saw that I was from Chongqing, he chatted with us and gave us a bottle of beer.I saw a lot of people who gave it one star, saying they didn’t open a store or something like that. And at the same time, there were a lot of similar comments? I don’t really understand... My experience was very good. If you want to eat freshly baked authentic Sichuan food, I will come back in the future.“
“I really enjoy coming here. Food is usually very good. However, they have changed some items(Shanghai veg rolls) which was disappointing and aren't as good as the original made in house. I don't recommend going on a weekend evening because they are so busy and service not as attentive and on the ball. Overall would recommend.Parking: Challenging on weekends evening“
“Food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was pleasant. Very importantly, the ambience of the place was very welcoming. This is one of three sushi places within several feet from each other and I chose AKI due to its reviews and inviting atmosphere. Decor is beautiful yet simple.“
“Def best Chinese food in rego park/Forest hills, some of the best dishes are braised beef in Chile sauce, shredded beef w/ spicy green peppers, dry & sauteed chicken w/ dry pepper..the Sichuan dumplings in Chile oil are really good as well“
“I just moved here from China! I can tell this restaurant really surprisingly impressed me! The fish head tastes very authentic! That's my favorite dish. My friends crazily fell in love with the poke liver and Hunan special meat. Now I call for all Chinese who love hunan dish must come here to have a try! It won't disappoint you! It's so delicious. It's not easy to eat such good food in New York.“
“Good is delicious. Personally I pick it up because delivery may take quite sometime if you’re ready to eat immediately . Options for free item very limited either soda or egg roll . Other places get a choice of soup or pint of pork fried rice also after spend $30 . They only take cash no debit card . I mainly like to buy shrimp items from here because it’s deveined .“
“This place is a bit of a walk from the main hub of Flushing, but it was definitely worth the trek. Came here for a weeknight dinner. We ordered two entrees and an app to share. The app we ordered was the pumpkin mochi cakes, and they were hot and delicious - we were so excited to try them that we forgot to take photos! The entrees were also very flavorful, especially the sliced cured pork with dried string beans and dried radish. I was afraid that a dish with those ingredients would be too salty, but they were able to balance the flavors just right. Would absolutely order that dish again. Service was quick and friendly, and you definitely get value for money at this resto. Would recommend if you are looking for delicious Hunan food while getting away from the usual crowded spots in central Flushing.“
“As far as neighborhood Chinese food joints go......THIS IS A VERY, VERY GOOD, VERY CLEAN KITCHEN. Middle Village would.not support any business for years and years unless they were doing the right thing.HOT AND DELICIOUS!!! I always call and place order for pick up. I never put my food in anyones hands or moped after it's cooked and ready bro. They are VERY VERY VERY busy during lunch special hours....please don't call during this time with stupid questions. Please understand the restaurant business because you're not 10 years old to do that and post a review that the lady was rude to you.....Come on man!“

“This is the BEST Chinese food in the area hands down. Everything is always fresh and tasty. Wonton soup, sweet & sour chicken, chicken w/mixed vegetables, chicken wings, egg rolls, scallion pancakes, fried rice… everything is delicious.“
“I haven't eaten authentic cold sesame noodles with peanut paste in YEARS. I would order them at other restaurants and they would be swimming in sauce. But DANNY'S did it PERFECTLY!! So yummy! Huge thanks to the chef!I tried DANNY'S some years ago, and wasn't impressed. I don't recall what I ordered. After seeing great reviews yesterday, and craving Chinese food, I decided to give them a try. Via takeout, I ordered the cold sesame noodles, fried calamari, and the BBQ rib combo with pork fried rice and egg roll. My absolute FAVORITES were the calamari, the cold sesame noodles, and the ribs. The fried rice and egg roll were okay, but nothing to rave about. But the others were ABSOLUTELY worth rating! Out of the last two mentioned, the rice topped the egg roll. All in all, the food is very tasty and I would like to eat in-house next time. ?“
“This is the neighborhood Chinese restaurant. It's run by a family and they are always so nice and sweet. I used to frequent them a lot over the years when they had all types of specials. But, Chinese has gotten expensive over the years, and the specials aren't as special anymore lol. But the food is okay. Recently, i hosted a Christmas gathering of a small group of friends, and i needed food fast. They had a party tray of chicken wings which were a decent price, and fresh. I also ordered a large fried rice and lo mein. All very delicious and the portions were good. I paid around $55 for everything. Not bad i think. I forgot to get photos. It's pretty good for what it is.“
“Very good mala dry pot for a reasonable price. You pick the ingredients (so many options, vegan options too), choose spice level, and they serve it in a lovely wooden bowl with cilantro and rice included. Great flavors. This place deserves way more than 3 stars!Vegetarian options: Dry pot with vegan options is incredible - just pick 5 or so veggies (they'll tell you how many) and you get one rice in addition. Multiple kinds of tofu, mushrooms, and veggies, including delicious seaweed.“
“My mom and I thought their \\\"MaoXueWang\\\" was really good, and when the chef ate it at the outside table, it smelled so good that we ordered it too,The portions are good, the ingredients are fresh, and when I left, I packed one for my family. My mom said she would come to try their Dandan noodles next time.“
“I admire this spot! They offer superb meals, their menu is large, The chef in that place is a specialist, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The food is consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the guests is friendly. I frequently visit this restaurant and I was never discontended. I recommend this place.“
