“Friendly staff very clean and good food can’t go wrong“

“My boyfriend and I went to this place for dinner. I have to say we had one of the most delicious meals ever. We started with the Tuna Carpaccio and a dozen Oysters on the half shell. The Tuna was beautifully presented and delicious as were the Oysters. We had huge hot popovers served with a honey butter which were mouthwatering. We also tried the Crab Cake which was one of the best I have ever had. The Crab was fresh, and the tarter sauce was very light and didn't over power the Crab, For dinner we decided on the Roasted Chicken with watercress and the Butter Brown Spinach Ravioli. They were both amazing and the presentation was absolutely exquisite down to the garlic shaves on top of the watercress. For dessert my boyfriend had the Chocolate Sorbet and I enjoyed the Toasted Almond Ice cream as well as the fresh baked cookies with milk. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the meal. The Ice Cream and Sorbet were delicious and the freshly baked warm cookies with milk were scrumptious. Everything was homemade and you can tell how much love goes into the food here. The server we had Mae was friendly, smiling all the time, very attentive and made our time there so nice. A special thank you also to Kerri Casso who is the Service Manager there. I know her from her previous job and Kerri is the reason we tried this place. She checked on us several times and made sure we were happy. Thank you to Mae, Kerri, Sunny and everyone there who made our meal enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!“

“I moved out of town to Duchess County and I drove down to Mohegan Lake just to go to the Applebee’s. The kitchen manager Will was amazing. He helped with my grandchildren’s specific dietary needs. Our server Anna was so knowledgeable and helpful also. I lived in Cortlandt manor for 25 years and loved going there.“

The food is a classic American Diner but the food, Atmosphere and staff make you feel like your home. Some diners almost rush you out. Here they let you enjoy your food. “Went to the restaurant for the first time since it was refurbished. Very nice!! Made dinner reservations for two and were seated promptly. Our server, Sandra, was exceptional. Our drink order was taken in a timely fashion. Both cocktails were delicious. We ordered the Ricotta Gnodi for our appetizer and it was very tasty. For the main course we each ordered the Ora King Salmon. I thought mine was slightly undercooked. As a side, we shared the truffle fries...hefty portion and were crisp and tasty. For desert we shared the Affogato. It was creamy and refreshing. All in all, a great night out. A little pricey, but based on the service, menu variety, and the food quality, we will definitely be back.“

The service was incredible, especially from our bartender, Erica. She was so personable and really made the whole experience fun. At the same time, she was super attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. She made amazing recommendations and you can tell she really loves what she does.

The food and cocktails were outstanding. I am still dreaming about the potato soup. And a huge shoutout to the pastry chef because the desserts were easily some of the best I have ever tasted.
