“I have been a customer of Austin’s Ale House for many years, I know them well they know me well. This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. “July 2024 Edit: The food is always great but can't say the same for the service. However, the service was ON POINT Saturday evening, the 27th. The staff was attentive, and the food came out quick. Granted, the restaurant was very empty with only 2 people at the bar (including me) , but none the less, I was pleasantly surprised! Keep it up, Hangar!

Has good music, food, and drinks but the staff there SUCKSSSSS. There's one bartender that's really good but other than him, they all need to be retrained on professionalism and how to be attentive. Thankfully I don't go often.“

“Such a fun experience! Axe throwing was more challenging than I expected but thankfully their staff helped make corrections so we were able to get the hang of it! “I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. I will certainly pop over again next time I’m in the area!!!! The drinks and food were top notch… So cheers Penrose to your amazing hospitality ❤️“

Loved the 2 shrimp dishes we ordered, the shrimp cake as appetizer was excellent.

“I finally checked out this bar after living here on and off for years. Nice and chill spot. Very cute and dimly lit inside with board games and pinball machines to play which I found extremely unique. The highlight of my night was meeting the bartender, Dee. She was adorable and very sweet. She's very welcoming and accomoodating and extremely friendly.“

“Seriously one of the best restaurants/bars I’ve been to. The service was unbelievable and the owner actually served us (we later found out he was the owner and were shocked). We told him we were celebrating our anniversary and he helped us so we had a longer reservation.
The live DJ was so good and we shazamed so many songs that he played off of the records.
Such a great date night spot for the atmosphere and the food was amazing. Small menu but every single thing on it was amazing.
The wine was tasty, the drinks different but exciting. Would recommend the sole e vento white wine, the coa de jima drink, and the cold sesame noodles specifically.
There is also a really cute outdoor area with an outdoor bar!

Can’t speak so much for drinks since I don’t drink, but vibes are great, food is amazing - also love how there is a specific sequence to the food. It’s very carefully curated.“

If you do sneak in 😂 you will find friendly people serving OUTSTANDING food (small, careful menu) in a house that Jazz built.

Jazz folks this is the real deal. Everyone else should just come and enjoy the magic of live music.

Pro tip: come early for a seat for the 1st set or arrive late to get a seat by the 2nd set (most likely).

Vegetarian options: Small menu so check beforehand. My 2 vegetarians were fine.

Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

People actually dance even though it’s not a club. Security is nice. More of a grab a drink with friends place and listen to music than cocktail bar or club. My go to place on Fulton. Swing by the halal cart after in front of the Franklin station.“
