“Tried Sultan Mediterranean after finding a BOGO deal online and honestly… such a good spot for a fun night out with friends. The drinks were flowing (we had about 6 altogether 😭) and everything we ordered kept getting better. The Hot Blooded cocktail was one of my favorites, the mojitos were super flavorful, and the espresso martini was perfectly balanced.

For appetizers, the grilled calamari completely surprised me in the best way, the buffalo wings were actually REALLY good, and the shrimp with roasted garlic + toast was insanely appetizing. Portions were generous too, so you definitely get a lot for your buck. I’ve also had their falafel before and it’s so good it’ll genuinely make you question if there’s meat in it 😂

Overall, great vibes, tasty Mediterranean food, strong drinks, and a really good time with friends. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.“

“I knew nothing about Bosnian food but once you enter this place you know it is the real deal. All customers but us were speaking their local language, which is the strongest indicator the place is legit. We had a banquet comprised of stuffed green peppers, meat cevapi (small ground beef skewers), spinach burek, Greek salad, and drink their national cola. If you can abstract the simple environment, you are in for a treat! The pita bread was among the best I ever had.“

“We had a great experience at Dar. The lamb was incredibly tender and literally fell off the bone, making it one of the highlights of the meal. The lentil soup was also very tasty—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The paella was excellent as well, perfectly cooked and very satisfying.

Our server, Cece, was attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the meal, which made the experience even better. The service overall was great, and everything came out in a timely manner. I would definitely come back again for both the food and the service.“

“Finally checked out Fatima's Grill and wow, the fusion concept is super creative! Everything is halal and the portions are massive — we got the shawarma crunch wrap (basically a loaded Crunchwrap Supreme with tender chicken shawarma, fries, and sauces) and a Hot Cheetos asada burrito. The crunch wrap was fun and crunchy, with good spice, and the burrito had that bold, cheesy kick from the Cheetos dust — definitely unique and Instagram-worthy. Also tried the chicken over rice platter; the rice was flavorful and the chicken juicy, though I wish the overall seasoning was a bit stronger/more consistent across the dishes.“

“I just had the chicken rice bowl with spinach because I don't tolerate lettuce. Any place that offers spinach as an option automatically becomes some place I'll continue to order from. But when the food is good as well? SOLD!!! The vegetables were crisp. The chicken was flavorful. I don't usually like vinaigrette dressing, but the Greek vinaigrette was so good! I'm very happy!“

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend you stop by!“

“Honestly, the food here is great. My go to is Honey Chipotle Chicken. Every bite is enjoyable, the portion sizes are large (and cost effective) and the staff are all great to their customers. The small talk doesn't feel forced either.

There's no eating in anymore but honestly it's good that way and I'm all for the business interests so they can keep things running smoothly and I can keep coming back for years to come.“

“Just what I needed and wanted on a heat wave day in midtown Manhattan at lunch time. Many places in the area are mediocre takeout or eat in, nothing authentic as far as I could tell. Service was polite, friendly and fast. I’m vegetarian and always love the middle eastern veggie options so I was pleased. Would return.“

I saw the Falafel made fresh and it was full of herbs and spices! I got the build your own falafel bowl with rice and romaine. The toppings all looked great.I would return.“

“I'm so glad I finally decided to come and try this restaurant.
The staff and the owner were the absolute sweetest and kindest, I felt right at home as if they were my uncles and brothers. The owner made me get free rice pudding on the house and I got to try their lentil soup as well, which was very cozy.

The owner let me try the hummus and as someone who is picky about hummus, their's had such a nice zing to it. It was thick and smooth, coated my mouth and gone in seconds.

As for the shawarma, it was amazing. I got the chicken to eat there but got a mixed platter to go. Every single item in the mixed grill was phenomenal. The beef kofta was great too. I loved the char on my chicken shawarma more though. You can't go wrong with any choices here.

The rice needs to have its own paragraph however. The owner asked which rice I would like to try as they have two kinds: Yellow rice or lentil rice. I asked for both and was blown away by both. I could not choose which one was better because both were that amazing.
The salad was great too. Perfect pickles and fresh lettuce.

I will say my only feedback is the food did start tasting a bit too salty as you keep eating. So make sure to have water or a drink to help cut through the build up of saltiness. Or maybe I came on a day where all the food tasted a bit more on the salty side, not sure.

All in all, I'm glad I finally chose to go here. This is a spot that you can never go wrong eating in. It's fantastic and dare I say, the best shawarma and Egyptian food I ever had!“

“We had a wonderful meal at Hummus Kitchen. The dips platter was an excellent start, offering a variety of fresh and flavorful options. The hummus was creamy and rich, the babaganoush had a delicious smoky depth, and each dip brought its own unique flavor. Paired with warm, freshly baked pita, it was hard to stop dipping. 😋

The shawarma platter was equally impressive. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor, topped with a creamy sauce that complemented it perfectly. The fresh cucumber, tomato, onion salad and the fresh mint added a refreshing crunch and balanced the dish beautifully.

A special shoutout to our server, Farrouge (or Farruko as the singer) whose recommendations were spot on. He was friendly, attentive, and helped us choose some excellent dishes that made the experience even better.

“Only 1 table inside, but the food is great and worth take out if there's no sitting room. On nice days they have an additional small table or two outside. The owners and workers are wonderful. I'm addicted but can't get there often enough. I dined in, tried just about every dish and got take out also.“

I ordered from door dash so got a BOGO for fries. The place has some seating, i didn’t spend much time inside but looks like a clean place. Definitely would come back for takeout. The food is a good value. .“
