“We visited Roast & Co Café on a sunny afternoon while waiting for my daughter to finish work, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise.
The moment we stepped in, we were struck by how beautifully decorated and cozy the place is. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your coffee. The décor is charming and full of thoughtful details, it actually reminded us of the small Parisian brasseries in France, with its tasteful design and inviting energy.

The café offers both indoor seating and a lovely outdoor terrace. Since it was a gorgeous day, the terrace was full, so we decided to sit inside. The indoor space was lively but comfortable, filled with regulars chatting or working quietly on their laptops.
We ordered two cappuccinos, one regular and one made with unsweetened almond milk, which they had available. The coffees were prepared with care and attention to detail, and you could tell they use high-quality beans. The aroma alone was wonderful.

The barista behind the counter was friendly, cheerful, and clearly knew many of the customers by name. It gave the café a genuine neighborhood feel that’s hard to find.

We enjoyed sitting there, sipping our cappuccinos, and just soaking in the atmosphere. Even though we didn’t try the food this time, we took a look at the menu, there’s a great selection of light dishes, cookies, and pastries, and everything we saw being served looked fresh and delicious. You could tell people were enjoying their meals.
Before leaving, we had a nice chat with the owner, who was very friendly and clearly passionate about the place. It’s always nice to see a business where hospitality feels genuine and effortless.
Overall, Roast & Co Café is a delightful spot, beautifully designed, welcoming, and full of good energy.

“Places like Dani’s are hard to find nowadays. We recently visited after moving out of the area several years ago and our memory matched reality perfectly. The perfectly crisp crust, the sweet sauce, the gooey cheese. We arrived at opening time and got seats at the counter, where the pizzaiollo kept the slices coming (my boys ate 4 each). We ate both regular slices and pesto slices and the adults polished them off with bottled craft beer from Dani’s massive selection. A must-visit in Kew Gardens!“

“I’ve been coming to this location for over 5 years and I never decided to make a review. You are the only Mr wish I love going to out of all the locations. The drinks are always spot on. It’s a craving of mine all the time. My top two drinks are of course the Bubble Tea and The Apple Tea with Fresh Pulp. I go here so often the young man already knows my orders. They’re polite and very welcoming. We always enjoy coming here our whole family does. If it were up to me I’d be here every day it’s just so good and refreshing! We also recommend The Black Tiger Milk & The Peach Tea all these drinks in a large of course. The only thing I recommend from the Mr wish chain is to get into catering cause I’d have them for every event.

“Bagels are awesome, but if I see the guy without glasses at the register, I won’t bother going in. With the other guy, I can just go straight to the register and get a bagel with nothing on it and run out, instead of waiting on the sandwich line for 5-10 minutes.“

“Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. “I’ve been to another Che Li location a few times and visited this location for the first time back in May. The restaurant’s design is always lovely — each dining area is built like a small wooden oriental courtyard, which matches the Zhejiang cuisine theme perfectly.

We ordered quite a lot, and every dish turned out to be enjoyable. The crab roe noodle was especially delicious, better than the version I make at home lol. The soup dumpling were also quite good. Overall, a very refined and satisfying meal.“

“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

Now its practically same staff bathroom remodeled and costs have increased but so as everuthing else same friendly and fulfilling breakfast no bells and whistles but simple good food“

We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. “I LOVE this pretty jewel box of a Thai restaurant. It's the go to for me and my gf whenever we visit the Brooklyn Museum, or are in the mood for delicious, affordable Thai food in a lovely setting . The place is gorgeous : the walls are in deep teal with gold leaf overlay. There are chandeliers and gold candelabras with fresh flowers at the up lit bar. Fabulous for a date night but also family friendly when the sun is up. The staff are solicitous but not pushy. But the food is what truly stands out. Beautifully plated and always tasty, you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose. My friend and I are both wild about the tangy roast pork with sticky rice. Sooooooo good!! And they make great cocktails. You should definitely go!!“
