“I grew up in KP, we aren’t lacking options when it comes to Chinese Food. This is the only place I order from. Hands down, the BEST chicken egg foo young. I come here a few times a month just to have some. I have tried a few other restaurants and they didn’t even come close to how good it is here. The portion is huge, the sauce is absolutely perfect. The eggs are made just right. I don’t understand all the bad reviews. The girls at the counter get the order correct, make pickup and paying a breeze, you’re in and out and on your way. There’s never an issue. This will always be my favorite local restaurant.“

I've been getting take out for about 5 years now; they'll ask if I want my usual when I call. 10 minutes later, I'll have a fresh hot meal with soup n fortune cookies for $12 again. Cash only.“

“I love this place and the fact that they deliver. There is one other place we love but they don't deliver and now that I tried Yhum Yhum,. honestly, there's no turning back. We ordered for the first time like 2 weeks ago and since our kitchen is being remodeled and we cant use it have ordered like 3 times already lol. I always saw this place when my mom used to get hair cuts over there but never went and tried it- happy we decided to order and check it out. My son asks for the sesame chicken and lomein all the time, and they have really great brown sauce also. Also the very closest things i found found to old school friend rice in a very long time. “Oriental Kitchen is our family’s new favorite Chinese in Suffolk. We recently moved to the area and have been trying to find a decent New York style Chinese spot and last night we found one. Yay! “Great place to enjoy peanuts and leave shells on the floor while you wait for a seat. You can even have them at your table. The warm bread with honey butter is the next event to fill your stomach before the actual meal starts. Chili is a great appetizer. I think most of the side dishes are fine. Steaks are good but whatever you do, stay away from any sirloin. Even prepared at medium, it tastes and chews like shoe leather and not the rich Corinthian leather kind. I've been there numerous times, but I guess the visits are spread out enough that I forget to avoid the sirloin. My default cheap nature guides me to sirloin and I regret it after the first bite. Ribeye, NY strip and anything else is fine. I'm not sure I know what their “road kill” cut is or how it tastes.“

This time we ordered lunch for the entire office, including chicken wings, boneless BBQ spare ribs, shredded pork with garlic sauce, and chicken with broccoli, along with several large bottles of soda. Overall, the food delivered exactly what you’d expect from classic Chinese takeout — familiar flavors, generous portions, and dishes that work well for group orders.

The chicken wings and boneless BBQ spare ribs were popular and well received, and the chicken with broccoli was solid and consistent. The shredded pork with garlic sauce, however, wasn’t as strong as the other dishes and felt a bit underwhelming compared to similar versions elsewhere.

“1st time trying. I have tried MANY Chinese food restaurants around this area for over 12 yrs, and never have i been this satisfied! I ordered my usual... Fried dumplings, shrimp toast, combo beef and broccoli, which comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Now for many places thus far, i have never been able to find where all the items were good. Its usually none or one or two of the items i order. ALL of it was very good! I like how you can order delivery directly from their website and pay cash upon delivery (like the good ole days!). And while its not that far, I am in Centereach and this place in in Nesconset, it is about 4 miles away which is not directly in my local area and yet it still got here pretty fast and HOT! I would definitely order from them again based on taste alone!“

This spot would be a 5/5 stars if they were twice consistent. As mentioned, the first time I visited it was delicious; especially the Egg foo young sauce/gravy.

Came back last week and it tasted “similar” but not nearly the same. Much to heavy of the minty flavor in the topping. Maybe they have a new cook in training or just over-measured. Regardless, not a big deal.

Food is good overall and I think I’ll give C Garden another shot. If they go back to the flavor first time I visited I’ll give them that 4 -> 5 ⭐️ promotion.
