We recently hosted a large group of 40 people at The Beach Club at Lake George, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish. Planning for a group that size can be a challenge, but the team at The Beach Club handled every detail with professionalism, warmth, and flawless execution. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine hospitality and breathtaking views of the lake. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, and the setting—right on the water—was absolutely perfect for our summer gathering. Especially since our boys got to fish and swim while we ate and had a great time! Speaking of staff—the service was phenomenal. Madison our server was the absolutely best! She got our food ordering quickly, drinks were constantly refilled and she remember each family by name. She separated our checks flawlessly and was so friendly and wonderful!!! We will definitely request Madison and bring our crew back to the Beach Club next year! If you're looking for a place to host a group in Lake George, look no further. We can’t recommend it highly enough.”

They also sell Lion Farm Cookies at the checkout and those s’mores cookies were out of this world! The staff were all very friendly also. The owners are genuinely welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, and the food is the real star. “We were to meet my son & family in Lake George to celebrate their anniversary Sat 6/24/23. He told us to meet them a the East Cove Restaurant at 5:30pm. They're not there, we go to the bar as we have in the past. Get a drink & ask about the reservation - there is none. We get a phone msg, they told us the told us the wrong restaurant, errrr!. They're at George's which is only 100 yds up the road. "You're killin' me Smalls." After that hiccup everything at George's was excellent. This is a prime rib, steak, & seafood restaurant. Our waitperson, Richard T was pleasant, helpful, & efficient. Two Fiddlehead IPA ($8ea) and two Banfi pinot grigios ($11ea) during our meal. My bride had broiled haddock w/ a side of cauliflower ($28+$4) which was almost double the portion generally served in restaurants. I had the pork shank osso bucco w/ mashed potatoes ($31) and their very popular salad bar. A large & tender shank w/ a very good demi-glace. Very nice offering excellently prepared & served. "Our steaks and ribs are hand cut and house seasoned Entrees Include choice of salad bar or soup du jour / clam chowder and choice of starch" - George's. Also had the stuffed mushroom appetizer ($12) and a basket of garlic bread w/ pesto (chef's compliment). Also two petit prime rib dinners ($35ea) & a very large "Kids" spaghetti & meatballs ($15) George's offers excellent food & service. Note: And not just b/c my son is friends with the chef, Nick DeJesus. A great dinner as we have come to expect from the staff at George's. Open Thu-Mon 4-9pm. plenty of parking. Reservations are a must, especially during the busy tourist season. Highly recommended. Thank you to Richard T, Nick DeJesus, & the rest of the staff at George's. “Went to our 1st Super Bowl Party at the Lakeside Lounge @ The Fort William Henry It was amazing ! The room was set up perfect the food was amazing ! Managers Marie & Renee took great care of us and our sever Taylor was doll the bartenders were Very accommodating! The outside view with a fire pit topped it all off had the best time. “ADK nachos were super good!! My husband got the steak and loved it. I did half a chicken with homemade bbq sauce, sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken and fries were soooo good. I found the Mac n cheese to be bland but I think that’s the style if you were to pile on something bbq flavored then it would have been better. On its own it wasn’t my taste but everything else was very good. Can’t wait to go back next trip to Lake George!”

“The Tamarack Inn has a great atmosphere, featuring 70s-80s music, vintage decor, and an absolutely charming and attentive staff. Our breakfast was amazing—we tried the special Apple Cinnamon pancakes and the Colossal breakfast. Both were full of flavor and tasted fantastic!
If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a cozy, classic setting, the Tamarack Inn is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend it!”

“we loved our stay. The views were beautiful and so relaxing. The food was delicious, and we loved that you could order at the Cabana bar as well as in the restaurant. We were not disappointed with anything we ordered. Best risotto I've ever had. Our bartender was very attentive, friendly and made great drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting lakeside in the evening relaxing with drinks. All staff were friendly, very helpful and hard working. We truly appreciate their hard work, and it didn't go unnoticed. The beach was clean and so family friendly. We just enjoyed sitting in the chairs, which were in the water and observing the breathtaking views. We were walking distance to the wonderful Lake George village. Our room was comfortable, clean and great AC. The fire pits at night were a great addition. our stay was very relaxing and we had a great time.”

“The coffee here is delicious. I had a hazelnut iced coffee and went back the second day for a hot latte. Both were great! Muffins were yummy and fresh. Only complaint is their staff is not friendly. No smiles, no “have a nice day”. Seemed more like I was bothering them to do their job. It wasn’t busy as it’s the off season, so it’s not like either barista was overwhelmed. So unpleasant.”

“Stopped by for two slices of pizza. The chicken Bacon Ranch was just okay. Definitely on the thinner side of pizza. The pepperoni slice tasted more like New York pizza. They offered to cut the pieces in half since we were sharing each slice. Prices a little high but so is that area. It seemed very warm inside. The dining room was full, so we did not enter that area. Maybe it was cooler there than the counter you order at. We went ate outside on a bench.”

“Moose Tooth grill has a great family atmosphere. The food was good and typical of what you would expect from a restaraunt geared towards tourists downtown. 4 meals, a few mugs of Bear Wizz( locally brewed root beer) and a few pints later and we were out the door for about $100. Overall it was a good experience and we will return the next time we are in Lake George.”
