“My first time in the Catskills. Take it with a grain of salt but I’ve traveled all over the United States, and I simply love this place. I’ll be back as soon as the schedule allows it. Great service, beverages and food. Murphy’s Law Rocks ?“
“In love. Everything is house made and fresh! Service is always a problem lately but they seem to have it down here at Gracie's! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Prices are higher but that's the price you pay for fresh, house made quality food. Definitely recommend!!“
“On a Sunday afternoon during our weekend stay in Hudson we ware lucky enough to get a table here and what a treat that was!We got some appetisers and threes different mains for us to try. For a moment it felt like we are in Tuscany and not in Hudson.A definite recommend! It may be our favourite Gem!!!“
“The breads, the croissant loaf, the pastries, the gourmet sandwiches and products, the breakfasts/meals, the kind help, the consistent and reasonable hours......it just doesn't get any better than this! Just what this dreary town needed!“
“Recommended by Kerri at Owls Hoot Barn (my Airbnb host who I also recommend!). Definitely worth going to check out if you’re up here — sandwich was amazing and Mate Latte with oat was great too. The servers and mission of the deli puts a cherry on top of the cozy experience going in. Definitely recommend if you’re in or out of town for breakfast or lunch.“
“Relaxing lowkey spot with some major grandma vibes. Classic American breakfast food done right. Fluffy ENORMOUS pancakes, perfect home fries, and tasty crispy bacon. Service was quick and the owners are lovely. Don't be surprised if you have to wait up to 10 minutes to be seated, it's small and clearly word has gotten out about this gem. Highly recommend!“
“The food was ?? amazing! The Cafe is so welcoming, great decor and just fits! The owner is the sweetest and instantly made us feel like we belonged! From the moment we walked in, I knew we would be there a while because we didn't want to leave!Amazing food, amazing service and staff, amazing atmosphere, amazing music.Just loved this Cafe and plan to make it a repeat location of our girls lunch dates!“
“Yummy & Friendly. I attended the Greene County Chamber breakfast this morning at The Athens Rooster. It was my first visit. The food was delicious, the service/hospitality fabulous and I was genuinely impressed by how clean and fresh the place both looked and felt. The aesthetics of the Rooster coupled with the great food and service are an tremendous combo.“
“My fiancée and I just arrived tonight from the city we were starving. Boy, were we glad that we picked this place for dinner while en route via amtrak. We had the Wonton Nacho, State Grill Burger and the Truffle Shuffle Burger. All of it was delicious and our server was so sweet and welcoming, she made us forget that we were anywhere near NYC but closer to a small town kind of hospitality and vibe. We would definitely come back!“
“Can't speak about the beer, but the cranberry spritz and cranberry mule were delicious! Overall, I was happy with our food. I just wish the service was a bit faster but looked like they were short staffed. Regardless, I'd return.“
“The four of us had a wonderful evening at the Universal Cafe last night. Dinner was absolutely delicious, creatively composed, and I can’t wait to return. Located in Germantown, NY only 30 minutes away from Rhinebeck, it’s a hidden gem that was the perfect spot on a cold Winter’s night. I started my meal with thinly sliced sweet Cara Cara oranges on a pool of peppery olive oil with crushed pistachios served ice cold… so refreshing after the decadent pâté appetizer. My cod entree was beautifully cooked and served with a silky root vegetable purée. The chocolate pot de crème finished the meal and was so good. The portions were generous, the prices very reasonable, and our server was super charming. Thank you for a wonderful night!“
“Aim 2 Please provided BBQ catering for our baby shower- pulled pork, mac and cheese, baked beans, potato salad, cornbread, and rolls. Everything was wonderful, and I've received lots of compliments on the food! Three different types of rolls, and the cornbread had cinnamon which put it over the top.Price was more than reasonable for the service and quality of food, would absolutely recommend them!“
“What a vibe. We came in the winter and felt soooo cozy! The food, cocktails and wine were excellent! I am so pleased with our meal.Service is relaxed, no kids menu.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, current menu has a real adult focus. However, there was lots of things to look at and explore, so my kids had a good time.“
“I had lunch from here today for the forst time. I had the loco wrap. It was amazing! Steak, melted cheese, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, tomato. Best wrap I have had and served with a bunch of fresh french fries! I will be back and you should go.too!“
“Got an espresso to stay. Came with a little cookie which was a nice touch. My pics don't include the spoon cause i left it at the pickup station. Friendly staff and unique environment. Smells like leather and machine oil so if you like that then it's the coffee shop for you.“
“I had been to the Rooster many times for beers with friends. Always friendly bartenders, cold beer and cool atmosphere. This past weekend was my first visit here strictly for dinner (of course I had a few adult cocktails as well). With our 8 year old son in tow, we stopped in on a Thursday night around 6pm. There is a family friendly dining area as you come in the door and we were greeted and seated right away. Waitress grabbed our drink order as our son was given crayons and a kids menu. A few other families were there with their kids and numerous crayon drawings adorning the walls reassured us that this was a family restaurant. Nice menu with good variety of pub grub. It was wing night so "When in Rome". There was an all you can eat offering but neither of us had that kind of appetite so we opted for an order of boneless wings each. I got the Nashville hot and she got the Hot Buffalo. The portions were large and the sauces were great. The Nashville is a bit on the tamer side of hot and the hot buffalo was both hot and tasty. Definitely get the wings. We also got an order of the Rooster Balls. For the record, these are not actually the balls of a rooster. Chunks of white chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese and fried served with a remoulade side sauce. I'm drooling as I type that. Our son got the adult version of the chicken tenders with fries on the side. He seemed to enjoy the tenders but the fries were the star of the night. We basically cleaned his plate for him as they were cut and cooked perfectly. To summarize, great for drinks and great for a family night out. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and delicious grub. Plenty of parking, not far off the highway. And as my son would say "free wifi!". We will be back often.“
“Wow! Great service, atmosphere, and the food was 5⭐️. The workers were very welcoming and pleasant to speak with. A nice intimate setting for both couples and/or larger groups. Highly recommend the steak with truffle tots and duck with broccolini. We left there very happy.“
“John & Sara Smith are the perfect team to plan your next event. Their expertise made the entire process effortless and the end result was nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance was simply gorgeous and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to throw an unforgettable party.“
“My partner and I’s favorite place to go! It’s close by, service is always great. Food is always amazing. I recommend the Monte Rouge breakfast sandwich and the Greek wrap. My partner loves the classic crispy chicken sandwich. The staff is always so friendly and working so hard! Bobs is usually pretty busy, but they keep up! We come here at least once a week to eat in and we get takeout once a week from here too. 10/10 recommend!Parking: Small parking lot around exterior of building. There is an extra lot across street. Or street parkingKid-friendliness: Has kids menu and coloring and crayonsWheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp on street level“
“Upscale pub atmosphere with very friendly and genuine service. Across the board the food is incredible - extremely flavorful and complex making for an exciting dining experience. The half chicken dish is simply unbelievable - in a class of its own.If there were any disappointments it was only because many other dishes performed so well. My tacos are great on their own but will not be the stars of the show. The maple ice cream is very good but a bit strongly flavored for the end of the night. We will return, probably many more times.“
“After meandering down Warren Street we stumbled upon 225 Warren and I’m so glad we did.We were immediately greeted by a friendly host then taken to a table in the main dining area.Service was quick and polite. We had a burger and fish & chips which were both excellent! I also had a Bloody Mary which was incredible especially if you love horseradish!I highly recommend 225 Warren for their hospitality and delicious food!“
“I work for the owner in his other business where he has a daycare for the elderly people and he also offers home healthcare services. I also rent from him-• MY OPINIONS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PERSONAL LIFE- ITS ALL MY TRUTH AND MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES •I came in for a job from someone who knows the owner Vitaliy- she lived in one of his apartments years ago and was telling me about how great of a person he is and how he has a few gigs and I’d enjoy working for him. So I went and filled an application out for the Home Health Care Aide and I did my interviews and met with the manager Brooke and started not to soon after- one of the best decisions I’ve ever made was going in and filling the application out - Vitaliy and his managers Brooke and Julie are all the best people to work for! They actually acknowledged me not even a month into working for him about how good I’m doing - that meant everything to me, the fact that they pay attention and care about their employees and clients and also customers is a beautiful rare thing. The restaurant is a very homey place. I’m new and my husband is a veteran and he has a hard time being around people and even he loves it. My kids love going to play ping pong while the adults play pool and listen to music. It’s just an amazing atmosphere with people who make you feel like your family. My family lost everything to hurricane Ian in Florida and had to move back and the employees AND THE CUSTOMERS ( I’m telling you once you meet them and they like you and you them it’s a family - they look out for each other!! ) all rallied up to make sure we have what we needed for our apartment.I am a very outspoken, outgoing, blunt, rare individual and I’m very opinionated- I would not lie to anyone about anything- but I PROMISE you that you will love the Bar/Restaurant and everyone inside it.Thank You to everyone for making us feel welcomed! It means so much to us.You guys rock!“
“I just moved to Catskill; a mile up the road from this fine establishment. After unpacking, my friend and I stopped into Mike's Diner and my initial experience was a feeling of comfort. The rustic atmosphere gave me a sense of warmth and nostalgia. People at the barstool countertop were eating breakfast; conversating amongst themselves while the families and friends at the tables joyfuly did the same. The smell of fresh coffee, eggs, bacon, ect, felt like I was truly home.Much respect to the cook; the food was absolutely AMAZING. The waitresses as well. They were very kind, professional and persistent in providing the best service they could, which was more than enough.ALSO, Mike's prices are VERY reasonable and affordable to treat the family. I'll be frequenting Mike's now that I'm aware of how great it is.****I RECOMMEND THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY. THEY'RE SOOOOO GOOD...THEY REMIND ME OF MY ARMY DAYS BACK IN FT POLK LOUISIANA*****“
“So I was on Warren street in downtown Hudson and googled the best pancakes and ended up finding Lindsay’s the food was definitely worth the drive but the service was incredible! The waitress was so happy, kind, and attentive. Not to mention the prices are great, so you can sample a few different options and not break the bank! This place is GEM! Thank you Athena for a wonderful experience!“
