“We decided to try The Old Winery Restaurant during our weekend getaway at Queen's Landing.

The restaurant had a great vibe. It was busy, bustling, and full of energy when we arrived. The decor is lovely and gives the place a warm, inviting feel. We were a group of six adults and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to make a last-minute reservation on a weekend and still get seated in the main dining area.

The menu had lots of appealing options, including wood-fired pizza (always a favorite of mine), and the portion sizes were generous. I ordered the Caesar salad and Calamari, which ended up being perfect for sharing with friends. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared.

Service was fantastic throughout the evening, and the drinks were solid. I had a Long Island. The highlight of the meal for me was the Belgian chocolate crème brûlée for dessert. It was absolutely divine and a perfect way to end the night.

Overall, it’s a great place to try if you’re staying in the area or enjoy checking out different restaurants. Prices were fairly reasonable for Niagara-on-the-Lake, but it’s probably more of a special-occasion or occasional stop for me rather than somewhere I’d visit regularly. Still, we had a wonderful evening with friends and I’m glad we experienced it. 🍷🍽️“

My husband and I eat at zappi's every March and October as we run a marriage program and usually have 10 people at dinner and have never had an issue with food or service. Yesterday however service was great but when I received my calzone, it had red peppers in it which I didn't order. So the waitress took it back and had another one made for me and gave me 50% off. I did order another one for takeout and as I went to eat it today for dinner, It has green mushrooms in it, which I cannot eat as it affects my stomach. I was so looking forward to my calzone and now I am disappointed I cannot eat it.“

The shrimp cocktail only had 4 butterflied shrimp with a salad (that we didn’t really care for).

The food was good. The Chicken Parm was crispy on the outside & tender on the inside.

The evenings feature was Penne. Alla Vodka. It was tasty but not as creamy as I’m accustomed to.“

We were also really impressed with how quickly the pizzas were prepared — we got them fresh and hot within just 10 to 15 minutes. The girl working at the maketable was incredibly fast and efficient. We were so impressed that we asked the cashier for her name, and she told us it's Komal — she definitely deserves a special mention for her speed and dedication.
