“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

I highly recommend the burrata appetizer; our other dishes were great too but came from the specials menu so you may not be able to get them consistently. Soft shell crabs, veal osso buco... but I think anything you get there will be fresh and of the highest quality. Good wine list too. If we ever find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will make a point of returning to Franina.“

“I had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Zona last night. I was originally booked to have the party on Saturday, but the bride came down with the flu. Gianna was so helpful and accommodating. She was able to change the date for me without hesitation. The day of the affair, the staff was so helpful in getting the room set up for us. Our waitress, Jodi, was absolutely incredible. She made sure that our guests had a fresh drink before they even realized their drink was empty. The food was delicious and plentiful. But most of all, the service that Jodi provided to us was outstanding. I would book another event at Zona without hesitation.“

He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

The food, the service, the staff could not have been better. All of the 55 guests raved about every aspect of the gathering. Many of these guests had never been to Bacaro before but now said they would definitely be coming back. If I had to come up with one negative… I couldn’t. “I was at 711 in Lindenhurst and the owner of kickn chicken was extremely drunk and being very racist towards me and my friend.. we were speaking in our native language Polish.. and he started saying you fn Russian need to leave and wanted to fight me..his girlfriend was extremely embarrassed of his actions. she had her head down... I wouldn't give this man any business.“
