“My husband and I just had a lunch there. The place is overall good, they are trying to recreate the atmosphere of a French bistro cafe. The croissant and what they claim on the menu to be “French” is definitely not close to French cuisine. But the food is good. What we found outrageous is the pricing. $17 for a green salad and +18 for proteins!!, $31 for a Cobb salad, $22 for a quiche… this is way more expensive than NYC price. Be aware.“

This past weekend I tried several other salads- Vegetable Tuna, Chicken Salad, Egg whites and spinach, Egg salad and mushrooms and of course sliced Nova and home made cream cheeses. My guests raved! “Great food! The Octoberfest Menu is great! Our waitress was not as attentive, this is not the norm for Small Batch! My husband and love this restaurant because the food is always consistently satisfying. We done here often and definitely will be back...new staff members should be aware that returning customers are expecting the same quality of serviced that is synonymous with Small Batch. She was very sweet to take the extra trouble to cut up the pastries for us as we were planning on enjoying the treats while driving. The ambiance was peaceful. The main lady is great at her job - she never messes up our orders and is always super efficient. Been ordering here for years and never waited more than 15 minutes. If you want a no nonsense experience with an authentic, DELICIOUS NY bagel, then this is your spot. Shut up and just enjoy your amazing bagel.“
