“My husband, and I, had food delivered, from this superb restaurant.The large Greek salad, which we shared, was very fresh, and delicious.It had grape leaves, chopped Romaine, cucumbers, lots of large chunks of feta cheese, red onions, and tomatoes.We had two protein add-ons, falafel balls, and salmon.The salmon was cooked to perfection, juicy, and a delight to eat.The falafel balls were the best that I have ever had.In fact, whenever we order this restaurant’s falafel sandwiches, the falafels are mouth-watering good, and the sandwiches are chock full of lettuce, tomatoes, tahini, and hummus.The chef, and owner, take great pride in what is offered to the public.The restaurant aims to please, and it always, consistently succeeds.My husband and I are vegetarians, and we often order the lentil soup.It is a vegan broth of savory vegetables.Everything we have sampled from “ The Greek Cove”, in Long Beach, has been wonderful.Delivery is always on time, with Grubhub, or with Uber Eats.I have only praise for the high professionalism, of the owner, and the chef, and the quality of food, that is prepared, so well.“

“I went into Abe's for some orders of sides to go with my dinner at home. The food is great, especially the seasoned potato wedges, but the place is really run down. It does not "appear" clean because of that. There were two full tables of people (there are only 3 tables),enjoying their food, and lots of walkins like me picking up. I will continue to patronize, but I hope one day they have the resources to do some renovation like Los Latinos did.“

“Just went to Greek City Grille and ordered the chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and the lemon potatoes were absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was so clean and decorated beautifully. Will definitely be coming back!“

“I ordered from this place cause I didn’t feel like going all the way out to Nazar in little neck. The kebabs were great. I had the chicken, next time I’m going to try the Doner kebab. All the entrées came with soup and salad, and these were really nice salads, not just like little samplers. This place is definitely on my list.“

“I don’t give out five stars often but this place deserves it. One of the workers who maybe the owner was really nice never seen anyone like him in a while. The fish filet, forget it, delicious! ? my mom also liked her chicken gyro. Everything tasted delicious and pricing was really good. “Pros: Super friendly staff, order was ready on-time, fresh generous portions that are truly delicious! Cons: really none, but don't expect a fancy dining room, its a take-out place, looks like pizza place decor-wise, cone for the food not the atmosphere.“

“Went their for lunch and got a gyro sandwich that came with fries. Food was excellent and priced fairly. The service was friendly, right when I walked in I was greeted and helped. Restaurant was clean and located in an area with good parking. I Would recommend to anybody in the area who wants good greek food.“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

“Stopped in after a wonderful recommendation from my good friend, Garrett. I thought I was in Greece, then I met the family. What a pleasure. Smiles everywhere. The atmosphere, the food and the wine was tops but the service was the best. I think there was a handsome model named Christian was working that night. Not only was he handsome but delightful as well. My daughter and my wife insisted we return.“

“I had to take my cat to the vet in the area and stopped by Greek Xpress twice and the blonde woman with glasses who works there or maybe owns the place is so kind and caring and provides great service. I also love all the gluten free options.“

“I ordered the Fava, Dolmas,and a Greek salad minus feta with falafel and my boyfriend ordered the Beet Salad with grilled chicken and the spanakopita. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and tasted super fresh. Both the quantity and quality were on point. The waitress was very kind and even checked if a few items were vegan. The restaurant AND the bathrooms were very clean, (and I love the cherry almond scented soap). “About an hour ago I ordered food from B Greek kitchen in Lynbrook. You could go read my review on their page for how horrible that experience was. That being said I ended up canceling it and ordering from this place whose name I can’t even pronounce. Let me tell you something the food was ready in 10 minutes more delicious than I ever could’ve imagined and service was super friendly. I will 100% be back. Especially considering the time the other place was taking to make my food was longer than the drive to this one and back.“

“Some of the kindest people in the food business! I came in today to pick up an Uber Eats order, but shortly had to return the order due to car trouble. The man counting receipts (presumably owner/owners son or manager, not sure) quickly offered to help after overhearing my explanation to the cashier for my return. They got my car started up in under five minutes! Truly above and beyond for someone who wasn't even their customer. I am very happy to know there are businesses in the community like this!!“

“Recently found this place and have been very happy I did. The meats have a decent char which I look for with my meat forward meals if I can get things cooked by flame. The seating is not best but honestly that’s far from a deterrent for me. I want repeated and proper flavor from the kitchen and that’s what I’ve gotten. I’ve also brought a myriad of friends here and they all concur that the food is a very good handling of what Greek/gyro flavors should be. Definitely worth a try for me.“
