The food was absolutely delicious—very tasty, fresh, and not oily at all, which we really appreciated. Everything tasted clean and well made, and you can tell they care about the quality of their food. The restaurant was also very clean, which made the experience even better. My whole family loved it, and we will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend.“

“I must say I’ve never met a kinder individual in my life. Mr. Oli works the front and cooks all the food. He is the kindest man you’ll ever meet and is one hell of a chef. The service here is impeccable and everytime I’ve come they’ve extended their kindness to allow me to try new sauces, food, etc. The chicken is absolutely fantastic especially if you live hot chicken in any capacity. The prices are great and it is in my opinion a must try!“

“Today I visited Amir Halal Restaurant and was seriously impressed. The place was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I ordered the mild spicy crispy chicken sandwich and it was fantastic, super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and just the right amount of heat. The flavor was bold but balanced, making it one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The fries were freshly seasoned, hot, and crispy also not your average side! They paired perfectly with the sandwich and really completed the meal. The food came out fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. If you're looking for quality halal comfort food with great flavor, I definitely recommend checking this place out. I'll definitely be coming back for more!“

“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

“Tried a new halal Chinese spot in Valley Stream and it did not disappoint! The chicken wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the lo mein and fried rice were so fresh and satisfying, and the chicken eggrolls were perfectly crunchy. The beef broccoli in garlic sauce was definitely a standout — super tender and full of bold taste. They also have bubble tea, which was just okay, but the food made up for it. Such a cute little place and a great option for halal Chinese in Valley Stream!“

“Ordered combo over rice that comes with fries and salad. I didn't get the salad but did add corn and red onions. I had them put white sauce, green sauce, hot sauce, and Hunchos sauce on it. It was amazing. Definitely the best halal food I've had in a while and there are a lot of good ones in the Nassau area. Go to Hunchos. It's open late.“

A friend recommended Halal Express while I was trying to figure out what to grab for lunch, and I’m glad they did. It turned out to be a solid choice.

Parking was easy, which is always a plus. Just note that it’s metered parking along Sunrise Highway and Atlantic Avenue, but I had no trouble finding a spot.

The staff was pleasant and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Service was fast, which is perfect when you’re on a lunch break and don’t have time to wait around.

I ordered the Lamb gyro and it was delicious. The Lamb was flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Everything tasted fresh.

Eunice was a great host and made the experience even better. You can sit inside and eat if you’d like, but I decided to take mine to go.

Overall, great food, fast service, and friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back.“

“This is my second time coming here. The food is excellent, but my issue is the bathroom being out of order. I can’t wash my hands. Can’t use the bathroom. I gotta go outside to use the bathroom. I don’t think that’s cool. So now I can’t wash my hands now I have to find a place to use bathroom.“

The server answered any questions I had and has a very friendly and approachable demeanor.Coming from the Island background of Jamaica I tried the Curry chicken wrap. It was so good, it didn't need no sauce. The server recommended the Butter chicken, and I came back 2 hours later to try it and he remembered my order. The food is freshly made to order. The food was fresh and the white sauce complimented it all. Chicken and lamb were both cooked well. Portion sizes are great and shareable.“

“Amazing experience!! I go here RELIGIOUSLY, no other restaurant compares. I’ve tried other places but always come back to Taza. Their food is fresh, delicious and have a variety of options, not to mention with the best price. All the workers are super nice and are VERY generous with their servings, especially for the bowl. They truly care about their customers happiness. They closed for a few days for renovations and I swear I was having withdrawals. But 10/10, I HIGHLY recommend this place.
