“It always bugs me when I can't find the menu on a restaurant's Google maps, so I just posted decent pictures of each section so yall can read it. I love how South Wok uses the menu to place your order and confirm what you want, gives you the corner of the menu with the number, and gets you your food in about 15 minutes. I love everything I've had there, and I have eaten here every Friday for the last 3 weeks, and I will for the next 3, as well...for as long I'm in town here. My xomoany semd me here every January ir February for a couple weeks and South Wik has been a go-to 4 years running. Portions are substantial and part of the reason I pick up Friday night, so I don't have to find a place to eat on the weekend. $40 to $45 gets me enough food that I can usually eat the leftovers Saturdaybabd Sunday, but $48 got me till Monday night this time.
8/10 for the food.
12/10 for consistency, reliability, availability, and convenience.

“We went by to get a takeaway. It was quite cold outside, but the owner was very kind and offered us to wait inside and even brought us tea to warm us up while we waited. He was very considerate of our needs.
The food was good and portion sizes were large. Plenty of rice with the dishes as well. The spice level was good, a little zing to it without blowing your head off. I would get it again!“

Everything arrived hot and I think they are now my favorite take out Chinese in the area. Normally eggplant and garlic sauce is dripping with oil. This was not. Ditto for the tofu. There are slight extra charges for things such as putting egg in the vegetable fried rice, but it is made the way we asked it to be made, and the delivery was quick and accurate. much better than using an online ordering app. I think the restaurant makes it better with direct ordering and we did too. This will be our go to rather than the two or three others in the immediate area.“

“This is my 3rd time getting take out and I love it. It’s not the typical super salty Chinese American food. It’s well flavored, not oily, and good portion for fresh veggies/meat. Emphasis on this - it is not salty or overloaded with seasoning.

“I ordered a Spicy Salmon roll and a Philadelphia roll. They were excellent. Also ordered some wonton soup and shrimp spring rolls. Wonton filling was a little fattier than I like, but everything was good. Definitely ordering sushi from here again.“

It was my first time there.The service was quick, the young man who took my order was pleasant, the menu had what I wanted and the lunch specials were priced well. “The Amazing Wok has been a go-to for me for 30+ years, including the four years I lived above the place in the early 90s when I ate from there many nights of the week. The food is always dependable, the service is quick and friendly, the veggies are always fresh, the sauces are great, and my kids tell me the dumplings are as good or better than anywhere. The fried rice was great in my lunchtime order, definitely not dry.
I won't name names, but I see reviews that have 1 star on atmosphere, appeared to have been delivery. Maybe you meant your own space (where you consumed the food) has a terrible atmosphere?

“It's takeout Chinese, nothing fancy, but the egg rolls are always crispy and I am impressed that they seem to use fresh vegetables in their dishes. I got the cashew shrimp recently and it was loaded with fresh chopped zucchini and carrots, versus other places where it's just a handful of celery and pre-frozen diced carrots.“

Rating their cleanliness out of a 5 I give them a 4. I kept it simple by ordering shrimp fried rice and an egg roll. Because how could you mess something so simple up. The food came out within 5-6 min of me ordering. It was piping hot and fresh. I gave the food an overall 10 out of 10. However my daughter gave them at 7 out of 10 because she didn’t think the rice had that much flavor. But she really enjoy the egg roll. I thought the egg roll was pretty big compared to your average egg roll. And noticed they weren’t skimpy on the shrimp. A lot of Chinese joints only put two shrimps per egg roll ours had 4 each. Wasn’t greasy. Nice and crispy. And over all delicious. The server didn’t had us our bag. Seemed a little bit not to friendly. She sat our bag on the other table. And insisted we got it from the other table. Instead of her handing it directly to us. Could also be she is social distancing. But because the food was hot and fresh. And delicious. I can’t complain. If they give that door and trash can a good wipe down. I’d give them 5 stars easily. But because the door and garbage can we’re not to clean, I give them a solid 4 stars.“
