“We catered from Trini Bites for a brunch with friends to celebrate our recent wedding. Working with Renee was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish, she was attentive and responsive. We knew we wanted to cater Trini food as my husband is Trini and I felt the stakes were high to make sure everything went well! And Renee delivered on every front.

The food was an absolute smash hit -- no tray was left untouched or unpolished, and we even sent folks home with to-go containers as they loved the food so much. Particular favorites were the stew chicken, the buss up shot, the mini doubles, and the curry chana and potatoes. Renee made sure that our dietary preferences were met, which was no small feat as we had vegetarians, vegans, kosher-observant (no shellfish), and halal-observant (no pork or pork byproducts) in attendance!

“Came tonight because I felt like having something that tastes like “home” and I definitely got that here. I ordered stew chicken with fried rice and it was very tasty. The chicken was falling off the bone and seasoned well. The fried rice was cooked well also and complimented the stew. The complimentary steam cabbage was crispy. That made me feel really happy. Now to the food! Came for the Taco Tuesday Special and so happy we did. We came very late in the evening so we missed the jerk chicken tacos though I was not disappointed in the jerk beef tacos. Such a great deal and it was delicious. These were the full size tacos, not the minis. Run don’t walk as I’m sure this deal wont last. We also ordered the fried fish and grits , we paid for extra for more fish and so goad we did. I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. They offered us samples of their new fresh made sea moss which was delicious and we grabbed more to take home.

“Before visiting this restaurant, I read the reviews on Google and I never got up to go one day. I was passing by and I decided to go in and check them out first of all if you were looking for like homemade Guyanese fried rice then definitely go there. It’s so yummy. It’s a little on the spice side but very yummy. I also tried the bubble tea and it was amazing for a small restaurant, the white pudding is also very good and fresh. Definitely check them out.“

“Fazila catered our Guyanese Hindu wedding at Crest Hollow Country Club.

Her restaurant prepared traditional Guyanese 7 curry along with vegetarian appetizers and dishes like vegan fried rice and chowmein.

We also catered pone for our henna night.

Fazila had great customer service. She knew I was nervous about logistics of serving 7 curry at a non Guyanese venue and she spent several meetings both in person and at the venue finalizing operational details.

She advised on the correct amount of food and introduced us to items that we didn’t previously consider like sweet plantain for the appetizers and ambrosia salad for dessert. We had the appropriate amount of food and variety! She ensured we spent our money wisely.

Overall, she was a joy to work with during this planning process.

Now the most important part, the quality of the food - it was delicious!

When my husband and I finally sat down to eat we were so delighted to eat the 7 curry that tasted homemade and had the right amount of pepper.

Our guests told us that they enjoyed the food a lot, even our guests that flew in from Guyana!
