“whether you stop by at lunch rush or late evening, the food comes out hot, flavorful, and filling. The staff is quick and friendly, and even when the line looks long, it moves fast. Prices are very reasonable for Midtown, especially considering the portion size you won’t leave hungry.“

“I went last week to TKRC on McDougal in the evening! The two men (I forgot their names but two young non Indian gentlemen who were there between 6-7:30pm) helped me with my large order! They were fantastic!!!! One even suggested the crepe place across the street which was AMAZING! To whoever owns this particular store, those two men were excellent spokespeople for your business, really took care to speak to me with courtesy and friendliness and in no uncertain terms….. were the best! I LOVE the food but with these two men represting your business, I would come back for the lovely service too 🥰🥰 To these two gentlemen…. You are the best 🍻“

“Probably one of the best, if not THE BEST, Lahori /Pakistani restaurants in the US. The street food style menu is such a unique and authentic experience.
We tried the paratha rolls which were perfectly spiced, wrapped in flaky paratha with amazing chutneys and the crispy chicken sandwiches that were huge, juicy, and packed with desi inspired flavors. The gappa chaat was a showstopper too, tangy, spicy, fresh, and beautifully presented.
The place has such a cool, authentic vibe with vibrant murals and a welcoming atmosphere. Even the washrooms were extremely nice and well kept (wish I had taken a picture to show that)
If you’re craving real Lahori street food vibes in the US, this spot is a must visit. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and flavors that hit home.“

“I got the chicken over rice. Solid quality chicken.
Whoever was running the cart looked pretty tired in the heat :(. Nonetheless, he was still very attentive and kind!
Very quick. Will be back! Thanks so much!“

“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“I grew up in NYC so I’m no stranger to halal carts. Since I’ve moved to JC (which I know is only across the river, but the food scene really is different), I have yet to find my go-to halal spot… until now! I paid $10 for a chicken over rice. The chicken was so juicy and they were very generous with the chicken and sauce. So delicious but also so dangerous that I’m so close by“

“The sandwiches such as the chopped cheese, lamb cheesesteak, and gyro was good. The tostones need seasoning with pink sauce, curly was well seasoning and delicious. The turkey bacon double cheeseburger was good. The pizza roll is terrible it is crap wrapped in egg roll shell. I rather get some real pizza rolls in a pizzeria than eating that garbage again. The service was okay however, when I tell the Muslim brother that rum raisin ice cream is haram because of the rum he acted all nonchalant about it. This is a halal restaurant no alcohol in all forms should not be allowed. Astaghfirullah to brother. The atmosphere was small people coming in and out there is no room to dine and enjoy the food so I glad I ordered to go.“

“Let me emphasize this, NOBODY and I do mean NOBODY, makes a delicious bowl the way Tacobees do. I live far and order with extra charges through Ubereats because it’s just that good and worth every penny. I get burritos the size of a tiny baby. I should know because I’ve had tiny humans before and those burritos are at least 2lbs or more lol.
The way the burritos and bowls are made, is just so good. They don’t skimp out on anything. It’ll be full to the absolute brim. Their queso and guac is hands down the best out of all other chains (Chipotle, Moe’s and Qdoba.) The steak and honey chicken is just chefs kiss. I love how my delivery is also always warm and the most important part, correct. They just get me and can take my check any weekend!“

“Believe the rating - this place is the best Indian food in the city. The first time I went here, I sat next to an older Indian woman who boldly proclaimed the lamb curry was the best she’d ever had in her life. She was right - the meet is so tender and the curry is perfectly balanced. Even the naan - it’s textural and flavor perfection. Come here, be happy“

“Halal Chicks never disappoints — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced every time.
The portions are generous, and the chicken and lamb are always on point.
Their sauces take everything to the next level — especially the white and spicy ones.
Fast service, good prices, great owner— easily my go-to spot for takeout, specially after the gym!!!💪“

Food, taste, prices, portions. Everything is 5+stars.

So glad that our vacation in NJ included eating at this yummy food cart.“

“Read the reviews and thought I would give it a try after I got off my flight, starving. It was everything the reviews said it was. Super well run To-Go orders. Food was flying out of that kitchen and they have a smooth running operation that produces delicious Caribbean Jerk Chicken with amazing sauces.“

“Love this halal cart! Only when they have the spicy rice! I was very sad when the ran out of spicy rice one time but when they have it, this is my favorite halal cart to get a combo. It’s real Delicious lamb. And I love the sprinkle of broccoli.“

“The food was amazing, I ordered the falafel sandwich which was $8 and the chicken over rice which was also $8. Both were well made and the portions were generous. This is a bang for your buck considering how expensive meals are in this area. They even have a green sauce available that they make themselves.
Kazi himself despite a bit of a language barrier is an awesome person to speak to, he is generous in terms of helping his clients out both in pricing and with his sympathy. The service is awesome and overall I would recommend this halal cart/food to anyone out there!“

“I made a big mistake. The portions were huge. Definitely intended for groups. My only feedback is that the salt was lacking. They do provide salt and pepper at each table but the salt kept getting clumped up from the steam of the fresh and delicious plates of food.“

“💯 Phenomenal experience! 🤩
This spot is a hidden gem. All their meat is sourced from HAL&AL, and you can taste the quality in every bite. It's a family-owned business, and the warmth and hospitality from the staff truly make you feel at home 👏.
🍗 Fried chicken? Perfection.
Crispy, juicy, and cooked with care—every piece is made to order and seasoned just right. They offer a wide variety of sauces for both sandwiches and wings, so you can customize your meal to your taste 😋.
🧑🍳 The team went above and beyond to guide us through the menu, offering helpful suggestions and making sure we were completely satisfied. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
🇰🇷 If you're craving Korean fried chicken or Korean comfort food, this is the place to be. Big shoutout to the owners and chefs for creating such a welcoming and delicious experience!“

“First time trying Uyghur food… had no idea what to expect but the food was amazing. Tried the spicy beef salad, qorima lagman, and a big plate chicken. All were fantastic. Beef salad was super refreshing. Medium big plate chicken was humongous - super flavorful chicken and the meat was very tender. Potatoes soaked up a bunch of flavor. Qorima lagman was my favorite - perfect noodz texture, stir fried(?) well, and excellent taste. Got a samsa to go which was also tasty and came with nice side sauces. Nawat tea was also nice - refilling the tea is free since you’re given the leaves to steep. Btw staff is also super friendly. All in all loved it and will come back!“

“I have tried lamb over rice. My expectation was more over the taste of lamb. I think they should try more to make it a tasty one. French fries were ok. Salad was nothing special. Overall they should try more to make it something better than their competitors.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“stumbled upon this food truck at 95 Wall Street, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The service was quick and super friendly, which is perfect for the busy Wall Street crowd. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot—I could tell they really care about quality. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. The menu had a great variety, so whether you’re in the mood for something light or hearty, you’ll find it here. Definitely one of the best lunch spots in the area. I’ll be coming back often!“

“I ordered takeout from Kulchay recently and had a positive experience. The woman working there was incredibly friendly and helpful while I waited. I tried their signature naanizza which is a fusion of naan and pizza. Both the chicken tikka and super supreme naanizzas were delicious. Even though I got stuck in traffic and had to reheat them at home, they still tasted great although I imagine they would be even better fresh out of the oven. I also tried the halwa naan for dessert which was decent but not something I would order again. All the food here is halal and I definitely plan to come back to try more items from their menu.“

“Sooooooo glad they’ve an outpost in my backyard. Tastes like the one on 54th, without the long line in the cold. Seriously how is this place always near empty, must be a lot of pick up/uber orders. Usually come here instead of Starbucks neck door if I wanna do some light work out my apt. Staff are super nice.“

“Oh I ate it. Exceptionally good. Lifelong new yorker here, 20 years of tasting halal carts. This has to be the 1 of the best carts yet. Got falafel platter with rice and salad. And in terms of Vegan, its 100% #1! The falafels are green inside, not over fried, and moist. Salad perfectly cut and fresh. This is nearly midnight yall. Sauces are to be proud about it, literally perfect combinations. Tahini option is awesome--vegan and perfect viscosity. Green sauce, usually im a skeptic, but this was suggested and was one of the best Yeses Ive said! Hot sauce is a force, delicious and spicy. Rice was not neglected, a fragrance you can taste. Finally they got me, the fries soaking up in there. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN? Very grateful for the food and kind service.“

“I usually visit Dave’s Hot Chicken at 7th Ave Brooklyn.
This time we went so late that it was just 40 minutes left in closing and they had put all the tables and chairs away (means the dine in was closed already) but the girl at the counter was so nice that she not only allowed us to take the chairs and sit but also suggested us to rate them on app to get a free drink (everyone loves free stuff..right??)
The food and atmosphere is always always so good. We love to go there at least twice a month (as far from our place). Highly recommended especially if you are looking for some good halal food.“

“First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “Such an underrated Halal food cart right at the heart of Wall Street Financial District. Rather than going out of your way to a fancy Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant, I highly recommend stopping by the Continental Express Halal Guys.
This is your no-nonsense New York staple, the Halal street food, and they do it very well here.
I got the Combination Over Rice, which consists of lamb gyros and chicken over rice and slathered with that delicious, signature white sauce plus a generous dash of spicy red sauce to boot.
So how does it taste? Like a gushing waterfall of yummy, earthy flavor and spices in every bite! It may look like a relatively small box, but it's dense in taste.
And on top of that, this is only $7.00 cash or $7.95 with card! You get so much for your money and you leave with a full, satisfied stomach.
Finally, the guys working there are warm and friendly, too.“

“I am a chicken girl and can completely without reservation recommend any and all chicken dishes and sandwiches on the menu. I have had them all over and over. Also the French fries and green salad. They are my go to usually twice a week.Believe the listed menu needs to be updated price wise but still the best deals in town. A HuGE plus you have the Richard Tucker (google him) Park right across the street for seating. Linda“

“I get this place at least once a week. The platters are such a good size and the pita that comes with it is insanely delicious and fresh with some flour on it still. It’s definitely more of a take-out vibe, but the employees are very kind even when you wait for your pickup order. Totally recommend!!! May feel pricey at first but once you see everything you get with the food then you will understand why!!!!!“

“I've been eating New York City halal cart food since 1998 when my wife worked on the corner of 53rd and 6th Avenue. I would grab a mixed platter from Halal Guys while I waited for her.
Then I became a fan of Adel's a little further down the street on 49th and 6th.
My new favorite is this cart in Williamsburg. Service is friendly and fun and most importantly, the platters are tasty, cooked to order, and priced at pre-Biden prices!
In all seriousness, this place is legit so try it out.“

“After seeing reviews on vlogs on our 1st night we decided we'd try the famous Adels Halal Cart and it didn't disappoint. I had meat combo over spicy rice and my wife had meat combo over normal rice and for $10 each you really can't go wrong. Big portions that tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend. Queue was long but goes down quick enough and the food is worth queuing for.“

“I’ve tried over a dozen Halal carts in the city, and this one has by far the best chicken over rice. Once you try it, you’ll go out of your way to come here every time you crave halal.
The chicken is juicy and always perfectly flavored and cooked. All ingredients are fresh. The sauces are great, and the red sauce is VERY spicy (love it)
The folks running it are super friendly and the cart is kept clean.
I’m legitimately concerned that once people find out about this place, there will lines around the block. It’s one viral TikTok away from becoming an overcrowded tourist spot.“
