“China Rose is a gem in Marlboro! I just sampled two dissimilar dishes; Green beans with chicken, and a Thai delight, Pad Thai also with chicken- both were above average with generously sized pieces of tender and moist chicken. The sauce on both was flavorful and delicious. I finally got a chance to get in there despite the pouring rain and thunder! They are closed Sundays so get there any other day and be delighted with the quality and friendly service - they are very efficiently run and operated by a young local family team.“

“One of the better Chinese places in the area. I wanted to try a bunch of things so I had the general tso lunch plate with fried rice and egg drop soup. The general tso isn't too spicy but still tasty especially with the rice. I also had the spring rolls which were nice and crispy, not my favorite flavor but I prefer thai spring rolls so thats just a me thing. The crab rangoon is better than the one up the road. The pork egg roll was huge in my opinion, and with some sauce was great! The egg drop soup was exactly what I wanted. Had i ordered just my food and egg roll with crab rangoon wouldve spent less than $20. Overall 5/5, will be ordering again!“

I ended up getting sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, and pan-fried dumplings and everything was packed and presented really well, with good portion sizes and decent prices. When I got there, I noticed the restaurant was spacious and clean, so I ended up sitting down and eating there instead. Everything hit the spot. I’ll definitely be going back.“

“Quintessential pick up Chinese food. I've been coming here for years and everything is great. Any noodle dish is good and your classics are great. Chicken and broccoli, chicken lo mein, crab rangoon etc.  The staff is incredibly friendly and always smiling. The food comes out quick and hot. If you spend over a certain amount they throw in a bag of something small on the house. Typically pork wontons or donuts.“

“You need to go to Main Moon if you want authentic Sichuan cuisine, and not American style Chinese food. You can go there for that too, the restaurant has a generous selection of food, but ask for the Sichuan side of the menu, and ask about it. The manager is proud of the food, the cuisine style, and has excellent recommendations. I personally starting out with the cucumber and garlic in spicy oil. It is delicious, spicy and refreshing to crunch into fresh cucumber. I also recommend getting tO dishes and sharing with someone, or even with two other people. The portions are copious. I finally leave my review after having gone there at least ten times.“

“I had the General Tso’s chicken today and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment I picked it up to the time I got home, the food was still hot and fresh, which made the experience even better. “Feng was amazingly helpful. Less than 24 hours before a bridal shower, the restaurant we had contracted with reneged, leaving us high and dry.

I called Oriental Kitchen and Feng came to our rescue. In a few hours he and his chefs had created and executed a carry out caterering menu!

“Great food, never got sick ever. Staff takes orders n its quick! U wait maybe 15minutes max from showing up n ordering. U can call ahead though to order. Prices r good for the portion sizes! I got a pint of house lo mein, wonton soup, and na shrimp egg roll for $13! Can't beat that! Staff nice and U can eat inside! Parking is limited but still good n easy. It is wheel chair accessible. There is no restroom though for public. It's the best Chinese in Newburgh! Plz though bring back pints of hot n sour! They only sell now quarts ugh..many choices on the menu if U want no salt or vegetarian too! They have lunch specials for cheaper also.

Vegetarian options: There are many choices like egg foo Young n you can get steamed vegetables.

Dietary restrictions: U can get low sodium plates/dishes or no salt n there are more then just 2 or 3. They will work w you!

Parking: U can park right in front of the restaurant, there is always room or across the street in a huge parking lot all for free or park on the side street but I wouldn't in Newburgh!

Kid-friendliness: U can dine in but has no child boosters or high chairs. Just adult chairs w metal tables.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get out in parking lot. No lip straight into the restaurant. The door though is not push button but U can wheel in. Also the window is a bit high up but the second opening is wheelchair level so don't worry! Can wheel right up to a table inside.“

“My husband and I eat here regularly. Their sushi and sashimi is fresh, and served authentically, i.e. the white tuna is accompanied by shiso leaf. We’ve brought NYC friends here, who eat sushi regularly, and have commented how good the food is here. My husband who does not eat sushi but is happy with the menu’s Chinese dishes.“

“Came here for takeout for our Christmas Eve tradition because I recently got a gluten-free diagnosis. They can make a ton of the menu gluten free, you just have to ask but they were really nice showing us what the options were and answering all my questions. It seemed like any of the chicken, beef, pork, or vegetables they could make with a gluten free version of the sauce, plus fried rice and chow mei fun.

We got:
General Tso’s chicken
Hunan bean curd with vegetables
Chicken and eggplant
Chow mei fun Singapore noodles

And brown rice!

They marked everything for us and had it ready in 15 minutes. It tasted great and I feel great too!

“My birthday is in a couple weeks now and I just wanted to share that I’ve lived in wappingers for the last 14 years, this restaurant has easily been my favorite place ever and no other restaurant has been able to make me happier. When we first moved here I was only 7 and now that I’m going to be 21, I can’t even imagine going anywhere else for my picky eater needs. I’ve loved chicken and broccoli my entire life, my mother even tells me it was her number one pregnancy craving while she was carrying me. “Actually, this has been the 2nd time we order from here in a while. This place used to be a 5star review for sure. Now It was so bad that my dog walked away from it! No lie. They definitely changed up a bunch of stuff. The ribs, all you taste is fennel. The rice has an old nasty taste that was unbeatable! The dog walked away from it! The egg rolls were once again weird and nasty tasting. My sons generals Taos was so soggy. The only thing that were really good was the crab Rangoon. Unfortunately found out when we got it home. Otherwise this all would have went back! Unfortunately you lost our business. .5stars rating for us!!“
