“Saw a sign for taco's and wanted to grab a quick bite to go for me and two friends. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. I was greeted by a very nice man who explained the menu and made great recommendations. I asked approximately how long it would take as I had my dog in the car. He replied about 10 minutes, so why don't you bring the dog to the patio and I will bring her a bowl of water. I food was prepared exactly as I ordered it and they didn't chinz on the ingredients. I'll be back.“

“Had lunch today as first time visitors with my family of 5 (3 young kids). We had the best experience! Our waitress was so friendly and attentive! She might be our favorite waitress ever. She gave the kids activities and toys to keep them busy. The food was great and the dessert with candle for my daughter’s 5th birthday put our experience over the top. Brownie sundae was fantastic! We can’t wait to go back. So happy we found this spot.“

“In late June, we arrived for a late evening dinner. Other customers were finishing as we were seated. Our waitress who had an out sized personality, Sandra, greeted us warmly. It was our worry that the kitchen might be shutting down but we were assured that we could be accompanied even at the late hour. this concern was made even more complicated by my dietary restrictions that the chef met wonderfully . We enjoyed an excellent dinner, joined by our server, Sandra, who regaled us with tales of her family and the area. Sandra was a very experienced server. My wife, Denise, who was at the time undergoing chemotherapy, appreciated her warmth and sensitivity. All in all it was an excellent experience and we look forward to our next visit to Mattituck when we will certainly visit your wonderful restaurant again. Denise and John“

We spent the entire time completely in awe of the space and we are so grateful for the responsiveness, kindness, and care of everyone who helped make our day so special. Just stunned in the best way at the effort, details, and accommodation. It was more beautiful than we could have imagined. All of the food was delicious. We keep hearing how everyone especially loved the shrimp tempura passed app! We highly recommend going for event menu extras like oysters, clams, and other apps. The lawn space and outdoor bar area were beautiful and we were lucky to have amazing October weather on top of it. We recommend Cowfish for any event with their wonderful catering team, great food, and atmosphere!“

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

“This place was pleasantly surprising in their food. It's not normal boring flat bowling food but rather tasty and enjoyable! The staff was great and friendly and the bowling was good. Our pins did get stuck a couple of times, and you do have to flag someone down to get help despite the screen telling you someone was on their way. Aside from that, it was a great time!“

“I want to rate this 3 stars out of 5. The food is amazing but customer service not that great. My family was in from out of state and wanted to get take out and I instantly thought about this place. my fiance got the food and came home and my order was missing the cheese on the burger. So, I unfortunately couldn't eat with my family and neither did my fiance because he had to eat his food while driving 20 minutes back to get my food fixed at the restaurant and then 20 minutes back. However, I would still recommend you guys to other people. I would just suggest checking your order before leaving“

“I had my engagement party here, it was about 100 people and it was absolutely amazing. I don’t think it could have been better. I had tables set up under the canopy that was taped off for only my guests and a blocked off a section at the bar because I had an open bar for everyone. The people that set up and served food and drinks were outstanding. The food was delicious. The live band was awesome. The view was beautiful. Anyone that’s ever been to this beach knows how awesome it is. I’ve been here a couple of times and have always had a great time and that’s why I wanted to have my engagement party here. Thank you Meschutt Beach you’ve made a very memorable day for my fiancé and I. plus all the family and friends that have never been there before who said they will come back to this beach because of what an absolutely awesome time we all had dancing, drinking, eating and watching the sunset at that beautiful beach. Thank you!!!!“

“The bartender Shawn was the best. Such a hustling guy he was able to handle the entire bar on his own and it was full. I will go back when I'm in town. The folks next to me had chicken sandwiches, one grilled and one fried. They said they were excellent. A nice spot on the water, but unfortunately it was raining otherwise deck seating would be awesome.“
