“Went here for the first time. I was immediately impressed by the fact that when I ordered a lamb gyro they cooked/heated up the meat along with the gyro flatbread on the grill. This way my sandwich was piping hot and tasted fresher than places that usally keep a hot tray for the meats and dish it out. Service was also friendly. I will be back!“

“We booked my sister's surprise 30th Birthday at the Tap Room in Patchogue and had the BEST experience! Both bartenders were so kind and accommodating the entire time! Also, booking was a breeze! I was in great communication with the Event Coordinators throughout the entire process prior to the party. They were always prompt in answering questions and super friendly. “My sister wanted to try JC’s restaurant after getting recommended by it by a coworker at first we were skeptical because of the area it was in but it turned out really good. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the steamed clams with garlic butter, jalapeños, celery and onion with some bread (you could add spaghetti to it) it was honestly the best steamed clams I ever had I would definitely get it again. My sister got a burger medium with a side of Mac and cheese the burger was really good, not too greasy really tasty cooked medium. We got dessert too, we got banana cheese cake and churros. The banana cake was okay it tasted like cheese cake more than it did banana. The churros was so good it was crispy but not crunchy and hard it was just the perfect amount of cinnamon not over powering just right with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream it made the dessert prefect and is the best churros I’ve ever had coming from a person who always get churros as dessert wherever I go. Price wise it’s fair the match the food. And is definitely worth it. Custom service was really nice and attentive. All in all I would 100% recommend this place!“

But try and get there early or make reservations. We went on a Saturday around 5pm and it wasn't too busy so we got a seat right away. We walked around Port after and when we went back to our car to leave at 7pm it was getting packed.Parking: It's Port Jefferson village if you get down to Port early you can find parking in the paid lots on the weekend if you don't go down early enough it's a struggle to find parkingKid-friendliness: I saw several tables with kids. It's a little expensive for kids but if you have the money why not.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the ground floor do no stairs. There is ramps to get in and the staff is very accommodating so you shouldn't have any problems.“

“Went to The Tiki Bar for my cousins birthday on Saturday. Had an amazing time. Drinks were great, hospitality was spot on. The live music was just an extra layer that made the night even more enjoyable.Tiki bar is great place for good food/drinks, dancing, fun and of course picture perfect spot to see the sunset. “The food we got was delicious. My wife had the cauliflower crust flatbread, which was a little sweeter than she expected because of the jam on it, but still very good, and I had the fish and chips. The dunks were also very good and the ambiance was a lot of fun. We sat at the high tops in the bar which is more of the loud and a lot going on seeing...because it's a bar of course which is what we wanted that night, however there were much much quieter and low key tables in the back of the restaurant for the sit down eating experience. My sibling and I visited at the end of November 2023 for an afternoon lunch on a Saturday. Our meals came with a salad, mine was Greek and it was delicious. My brother got a chicken dino and I ordered an Uncle Peter (chicken, cheese, pasta…) and we shared a yummy dessert. We both took leftovers home and enjoyed them at a later time. She couldn’t remember what toast I ordered and the potatoes were soggy and when I said something about it, she just walked away when she could have offered a replacement. The food was so good as well as the drinks, all served properly. My husband had the pastrami sandwich with a side of broccolini. I had the seared scallops with a side of roasted carrots. All of the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Nice to have some quality veges cooked to perfection. We definitely will be back! “Seating area has shade, but not much elsewhere. Food is somewhat pricey given the fact that it's on the beach. Outdoor bar. You can only drink in the designated areas because of New York State laws. Excellent for laying on the beach and watching sunsets (Note: Long Island North Shore is somewhat rocky).Another side note: Last time I was here the bar area, they had somewhat of a bee issue. Apparently they've discovered that there are sugars and protein to be had, so they come around. No one was stung last I saw.“
