“If you want a delicious burger, that’s the place. Excellent service by the stuff at Au Cheval, knowledgeable of their menu and very friendly. The burger obviously it’s a must, the salad is fresh and full of flavor, the wings are incredible with a bit of a kick (wet towels provided). I also recommend the bone marrow, very delicious.“
“This is the perfect place to take your friend who comes to New York often enough that people think she lives here. Get here around 4:23 on a Thursday and you’ll only wait 40 minutes in the wind to get a seat at the Coop, where you’ll spend 10 more minutes trying to puzzle through their menu. Your friends and you will pick different items, curious if it’s actually good, but once the drinks and sandwich’s come, you’ll wonder how you’ll ever go to another bar.Cocktails are a few more dollars than the average New York drink, but the quality is at least double (no pun intended).“
“Had a wonderful meal this evening at Upland, really enjoyed my artichoke entree and was pleasantly surprised by my lobster main! Luis was so professional and attentive, I loved my complimentary guava sorbet and the honey ice cream was also delish. I highly recommend them, thank you for taking such good care of me for the two hours I was with you.“
“I love this Craft Beer and Burgers but this place is amazing is like you were in Disneyland roller coaster of flavors and I’m very thankful to my Server Kendra L. Briggs to take care any time and how she’s rolling this place from the beginning to the end great food experience and service as well!!!!!“
“My partner and I came after a tough workout recently on a Saturday afternoon, as Revelie had been on our radar for a few months! The wait wasn't terribly long at 3:30 (we waited about 30 min outside, though it was cold). The food was tasty and good quality, I liked the chopped cheese the most. Fun diner feel too! There was a minor holdup to actually get the food, but definitely worth it once we actually got to try it. Would recommend!“
“Clean, plugs for phones, good location.Burger was perfectly salted and flavored. Thin patty for a satisfying but light meal.Chicken sandwiching was very tender (dark meat) and had its own unique spices separate from the sauce.Fries were crispy and battered. Perfect.Recommend both!“
“I was amazed there loaded fries are with sprinkled through the fries and the ? 's are great ?. For the price you can't get a better ? burger else where.I 'm glad they are expanding through the city. So, you can find there burgers throughout the city.“
“Instantly made welcomed when arriving. Even on a weekday afternoon at 3pm, it was very crowded. I would not want to imagine how crazy it gets on the weekends. Prices are reasonable if you take advantage of the daily specials they post on their website. TVs all around the bar to watch sports and background music was mix between pop music and 50's oldies tunes. Since the bar area was so crowded, I felt a little isolated sitting by myself at a table and not really able to socialize with anyone. Service was very friendly but a little slow due to how busy it was. I would definitely return though.“
“I love this original location of p.j. clarkes! i've been here so many times it's hard to rate just one time. the service is always on point and the food is consistent. an elevated gastropub menu focused on a raw/chilled bar. but don't skip the burger and the chicken pot pie, both is which are fantastic. the bar area is first come, first serve, and reservations are taken for the main dining. even without a reservation a wait for a table isn't that bad. plus the red and white checker table cloth is such a fun novelty. oh and did I mention the martinis are big, nice, and cold?“
“I had such a wonderful experience at Royale. First it has an awesome bar and restaurant indoors and the space outdoors is beautifully decorated. I have celiac disease and they had the most delicious gluten free nachos (made on site) ever! They were perfect. I was so happy I could have them and they were excellent! Great atmosphere and food! Highly recommend when in the Village.“
“This. Was. Unbelievable. The place has limited seating just a warning if you’re a big party- I got the chopped cheese platter over fries and my boyfriend got the chopped cheese sandwich with fries and we both got drinks. All together it was about $53!100000/10Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option“
“The original items on the menu are easy to spot because they have funny names and are more complicated. An eventful egg-and-cheese sandwich called the Lil’ Shonda incorporates a weighty slice of pastrami, pickled green tomatoes and something called Dinkee Sauce, which seems to be mostly mustard. You could pick up and eat the cheeseburger (or either of two variations on it) with one hand, and by the time you’d started to wonder who baked the excellent little bun, the thing would be half gone.“
“Punches above its weight but be warned: It seats about 10 people. After 8:30 on a Saturday, there's a line. Soul-warming coffee, eggs cooked to actual order. They could choose a different sausage but I doubt they have to. It's near Chelsea flea market, so, go.“
“This spot is adorable. Got seated immediately at 5:00 on a Monday. No happy hour and the prices seemed normal for NY. It had major speakeasy feels with some Alice in wonderland -esque artwork that I loved. Great service that was very attentive. Intimate and great for a date night.“
“I was super skeptical to try this at first because it didn’t seem authentic but after i gave it a try i had to come back 2 more times because it was GREAT. Jerk chicken over rice is on top. I’d recommend this to anyone especially if you’re tired of a basic chicken over rice platter. Make sure to get their dragon sauce.“
“Without a doubt, the best smash burger in all of New York. I don’t know what these guys did, but they figured it out. The burgers have a perfect ratio of meat, cheese, sauce, and onions, all piled on a nice brioche-like bun. If you want something quick and pretty much anytime of the day, this place has got to be on your list. Hits the spot every time.“
“We had such a great time here. From the outside it doesn't look very special but inside, this place is another world. All the waiters/waitresses have two jobs - serving and singing. And they're excellent singers, all aiming to get a part on Broadway (and with a lot of past success too!)The food was alright, not bad at all but not the best ever. Kind of what you'd expect from an American diner. Service was excellent and needless to say, the atmosphere was absolutely rocking!100% must visit!Expect to queue (line up) for a while to enter or get there early I suppose.“
“Yummy Yummy burger in my tummy!Got the Motz Double Onion Burger prepared by George Motz himself! Perfectly smashed patties with thinly sliced onions cooked until they get caramelized. Watching him cook the burger was so cool. The man is a burger maestro! Also got the fries on the side, which were very good. No free refills on the soda FYI.I was too shy to take pictures (snuck one in) since he was cooking right in front of me and I was a bit starstruck! Sit at the counter if you have a chance because it’s an amazing experience!“
“I can’t say enough good things about this my first visit to Next Stop Vegan in celebrating a dear friend’s birthday. We made reservations for a party of 8 and had to adjust the time due to the inclement weather and was met with a Caribbean vibe of “no worries! We’ll see you when you get here?” kinda vibe. The layout is intimate and they make great use of the space. The menu is 1 page 2 sided which makes things less complicated ?? Moat meals are under $20 per person and worth every penny. So affordable. We ordered 8 different dishes to mix and taste and enjoyed them all! What a win. I’m already planning my return trip. Not salty, seasoned well, not oily with tons of great flavor. We had the mofonguitos, el plato, Yuka fries, guacamole & chip, oyster mushroom sandwich, pigeon peas in coconut milk with rice, tofu and avocado, friend green plantain with black bean, avocado, greens and tomato to name a few.Now for the best part. The service! Top notch white glove treatment like you are the only party there. We had 2-3 different servers throughout the evening and each one without exception was outstanding! Thank you for making our celebration oh so special and we can’t wait to experience the awesomeness that is Next Stop Vegan again! You guys rock!Unfortunately no street parking to speak of BUT there are 3 parking garages on the same block so you’ve got options.“
“I’m giving this place a 5 star because the quality of Smash Burger was consistent and great. It’s one of the best burgers I have tried (out of all the places I have too in Brooklyn)Good selection of salads that always come fresh. If you are coming here for the first time, try their sambusa, burgers, lamb soup (traditionally prepared) or lagman dish (with in-house handmade noodles). It’s a little spicy, you may want to opt out of it.Burger meat has tasted great at all times. After coming here for more than 5 times, I can confirm that you won’t regret with one of the dishes I recommended.Service has always been great and on point. Sometimes they may give you a space, but they quick to react if you need anything.Go with their Kompot for a drink (good balance of sugar and it’s not that sweet) or any other drinks of your preference.Lastly, they are keep improving, which is a great sign.“
“Vanessa took the time to explain the different beer options. As someone who is Gluten Free she was able to guide me in what to avoid. She also took the time to engage and get to know me. It was actually my first time here but I felt like a frequent customer. I use to get burgers somewhere else but definitely this will be a new weekly spot. The burger was perfect! Did not drop in oil, flavorful, and truly satisfied my craving. Can’t wait to try new things. Such good service, from the moment you walk in and ever the cooks. I was having a crappy typical NYC day, but this changed it around.“
“Fast service, and good foodSmall menu, but done well. They ask for your phone number to let you know your order is ready, which I personally don't like, but it's efficient I guess. Cool vibe and they offer vegetarian options. A bit pricy for the amount of food you get, but a casual place to hang out with friends.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger available“
“This place is always so good. I recommend getting the double patty because one of their smash patties just isn’t enough. They’re thin and cooked perfectly. The staff is always so friendly and quick. The food is fresh, made to order and always blows my mind.My only complaint is that it’s nearly $6 for a side of fries and the amount of fries you get is tiny. It’s not even enough to split with someone. Also - love the music here every time I come. There’s something nostalgic about sitting at the counter and 60/70s classics bopping in the background.“
“We stumbled upon it by chance, wandering around the area and entered attracted by the menu. The place is special, the girls who serve the tables are really thoughtful and kind. Very good fries and also the salmon burger sandwich, good, plentiful and not overly seasoned like everything else in these parts.“
“I love the concept and advocating for plant-based food. I like the self ordering system and the seating arrangement. Sadly, the buger that I ordered was missing the green leaf lettuce and had a tiny touch of mayo and just a tiny piece of pickle. My guess is that the kitchen ran out of ingredients. I did not bother asking for an explanation. I felt that the staff was also exhausted and not in a good mood. Hopefully, it will be a better experience next time.“
“This was the first time I had been to Rippers in eight years and it is still as good as it was in 2015. The burgers are so flavorful and juicy and came with a special sauce with cheese, lettuce and tomato. It tasted so good. The Fries were topped with salt, pepper and spices. They really have a great flavor and really don't need ketchup. The one thing is that they give you a very generous portion and are perfect for sharing. The view of the shore is amazing and it is nice to hear the waves crashing while you are eating. It puts you in the mood and you can just relax.“
“I love Florence Prime Diner! This is just what the neighborhood needs! I like to get the vegetable quesadilla, caprese panini, cuban panini, and I love their avocado toast for breakfast. They serve breakfast all day also so that's great. Definitely check it out if you are in the area. You will love it!“
“i came on a saturday afternoon and i eat at alot of burger spots, but stackd burger backs the taste up,the texas burger the onion ring was nice and soo crispy, the burger also had flavor, and their fries are nice and crispy,i will be back to try out the fried egg “
“Our waiter was very nice. My only complaint is that it took a long time to get our drinks. In fact, our dinner came before our drinks. I could've understand it if the restaurant had been very busy, but it was later in the evening, and it definitely was not that busy. Having said all that our food was delicious and I love the ambience of the new space.“
“This is a family owned restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen that takes that to heart. The food is fantastic and service is fast. It just has that bit of personality that makes it feel like a place out of a small town instead of the middle of Manhattan—and that’s a really good thing. My one suggestion would be to maybe add an impossible burger, turkey burger, or a chicken dish to the menu. If you don’t eat beef, there’s not a lot of protein options…but it’s also a burger place so what does one expect.Definitely check this place out :)Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese, veggie burger“
“The entire vibe of the place was great. It's an Irish pub, I think. Everyone there was friendly and very accommodating. The food was phenomenal. The burgers were so good. Definitely recommend this place to anyone trying new burger spots.“
“One of my absolute favorite places in the City! My rugby club has been patronizing the Bronx Brewery since they were just the place on 136th in the South Bronx, and we were psyched for the EV location. The burgers and beer are fantastic, but what makes it truly special are the staff that male you feel right at home - shoutout to Taylor and Za, and all the homies!“
“This place was amazing. We got the “jani” burger and lamb chops and also got to try the nihari sandwich. I loved the mint chutney that they added to the burger. Felt like I was getting authentic Pakistani flavor in a burger form - you definitely have to try this place!“
“I strolled into this restaurant for a simple lunch. I ordered the Gosht burger, served by Lia, who is one of the most pleasant servers I’ve come across in a long time. The Gosht Burger, medium well, was the taste that I was missing, as it was juicy and VERY flavorful. The fries were the perfect hue of golden, crispy to the touch and hot and soft on the inside.I can’t wait to come back.“
“An impressive selection of CBs ranging from refreshing flagship pilsners and lagers at approx. 5% alc. content, to bold IPAs with around 7% ABV, and even indulgent rich barrel-aged stouts boasting 10-13% ABV. The staff is efficient and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant experience. One tip: if you plan on ordering food, it's advisable to do so nearer to the entrance before proceeding to the counter beer seats to avoid missing out on the opportunity to pay with your credit card!“
“Hands down best new edition in Brooklyn right now. My first experience I had the avocado sandwich. When I tell you perfection!! The egg fried just right. The bacon was fresh. And the BREAD!! uugghhh Sometimes the bread on sandwiches can be a hit or miss but just amazing all around. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our meals so much we ordered food to go just to give it a try! Can’t wait to go back.“
“Dinner was great! I went here two nights in a row and ordered the exact same thing. I got the steak au pauve and it was perfect! I ordered a double salad instead of salad and fries and the second night they sent me double fries instead of a salad. They did give me salad after I mentioned the mistake. The first night, they burnt something in the kitchen, the fire alarm went off and the fire department ended up coming. They didn't have us leave the restaurant but it was very loud. I would still go back and enjoy the experience, even with the small issues I had. You should definitely check this place out“
“As soon as I took the first bite of my burger, I could barely keep it together. The feeling of being in NYC for the first time with my wife and 2 daughters was already incredible, and then eating one of the best burgers I’ve ever had was almost too much. It will easily go down as one of the happiest moments of my entire life. I can’t promise the burgers there will do that to you, but if you bring the 3 most important people in the world with you and eat a burger there, good luck not being overwhelmed with happiness.“
“I meet the owner was really nice and laid back decided not to change the music after I told him it was appropriate for the area I tried the BBQ bacon cheeseburger it was amazing finally a burger that's not smashed I also tried the macaroni and cheese the different types of cheese are really good but it would be better if it had at least salt and pepper“
“We have spent a few days in New York, and experienced various restaurants and diners. All different, but this place was my favorite. The food was good, but what made the difference was the service. Jerry was adorable! He took great care of us, and it made such a difference. He was really welcoming and even helped me charge my phone. Thank you so much Jerry! I actually do the same job as you in France, so when I am welcomed in such a kind way I appreciate it even more :)“
“Best bar in FiDi! The bartenders are super friendly and pored so much wine for me and the Guinness is on point (can’t try Guinness anywhere else but here), no Rudy customers like other bars in FiDi, and just shocked at how reasonable it is! (Independent family run). Have to come back for their food!“
“40 mins before lunch service started we were seated right away. Server Kevin was friendly, helpful and very fast with any requests. We enjoyed the food, the French toast was very good and the Brownie Explosion Cheesecake was something I would order again.“
“Four of us dined. Three had the ribeye, medium rare, and they were delicious. One had the filet mignon cooked medium. It was overcooked, no pink, and tough. Loaded baked potato and asparagus were fine; nothing special. Chocolate torte and warm butter cake desserts were good. The service was fine; waiter was pleasant. Overall though, prices versus the actual quality/taste received were a bit on the high side.“
“Well, my girl is Chineese, and she says it it authentic Chineese food, very spicy. She loved it..And if you see a lot of Asians eating in a Chineese restaurant. You know it's good..It's more of a take out, small seating area, not a full size restaurant.“
“The place is comfortable and above all I love its decoration, the very friendly service and very good attention, what can I say about the delicious burgers, I was satisfied with their exquisite flavor, without a doubt my favorite place to eat burgers ??“
“Food is really good but I waited nearly 20 minutes for my food. The burgers are great. Staff is friendly. They’re not wrong when they say you should get a double. I had two singles. The regular mash is good and the spicy mash is unique. The honey definitely makes it taste different than other burgers. Will definitely be back to try other parts of the menu.Parking: Parking is not too bad. Located right at the end of a busy Main Street. Not all of the meters work though“
“The service was immaculate. Ana did a fantastic job at giving us a great experience. It was our first time here and she was attentive, kind, and fun! At the end she let us spin the wheel to win a prize and I got a free soda, but I was a little bummed because I wanted to win a free shot, but she gave me it anyways! Not just the service, but the food was actually really good. It is a lowkey place, but with great food with great portions for a fair price. The drinks were definitely potent as well. We ordered the arepas for 2 that came with nachos, colombian hot dog, premium steak fries that came with a fire show, sangria, and a modelo. Everything was so filling that I had to take most of the food to go. I would recommend this place to everyone!!“
“Walked in thinking it's an Irish bar, walked out having one of the best times ever at any bar. This is a gay bar on steroids but that's what makes it oh so better. I know what you straights are thinking, but this place is Uber welcoming of people from all walks of the road. Probably one of my most favorite random bars of all time. The food was great and priced even better. The staff was Uber friendly and the drinks were top notch. The crowd was the happiest and sweetest crowd of all time. Tbh not a single sour puss! Highly recommend this place for everyone and anyone! The music, the food, the drinks, the staff, the atmosphere... all so fun that honestly I kinda wish I was gay now lol. Give this place a shot, you won't regret it!“
“I live in the neighborhood and love this spot for dinner or a night cap. It is truly a never miss spot. They were also gracious enough to host me and some friends for my 30th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The food was outstanding, the vibes were cozy, and team took amazing care of us!So grateful. You should definitely come here.“
“I come to this location about 5 times a month. I am a teacher, so I need something fast to eat that is healthy and fast. I usually go for lunch but this time, I decided to go for dinner. I decided to have my daughter meet me for dinner at this location. While I was making my order on my phone. The manager (she) ran up to me and scared my daughter by yelling at us. Her exact words were, "You can not eat that food here." She yelled at us, that the other customers just looked at her. My daughter had a bag with food from another restaurant, which was for her Dad to eat at home. But the bag never was open, and we were just there waiting for our Wendy's food to be prepared, to have dinner. The bag was also sealed. I made 3 orders from Wendy's that evening for dinner. She assumed that I was going to sit there and eat from another restaurant and that I never ordered Wendy's from my phone. But I had the proof on my phone. I was waiting, standing up. We never gave her any reason to think that we were opening the other restaurants food. She walked away. I walked to the counter and asked to speak to the manager. She stated that she was the manager. I explained to her that what she did was not acceptable as a manager. She was not supposed to yell, assume, and approach customers in that manner. It was rude and embarrassing. I have been a teacher for the past 22 years, and I have never approached a parent in that manner. I also explained that to her . My daughter was so embarrassed. As a manager, she should know how to speak and approach customers. She then stated that she approached us in that manner because a lot of people go to this Wendy's and do that all the time. I told her that has nothing to do with us. She can not approach us for what other people have done. I am a human being, and I deserve respect. The same way that we never disrespect others. The other workers behind the counter shaked their heads and agreed with me.“
