There are super nice people working here and explain the dishes to you if you're not Jamaican and unfamiliar with the cuisine.2. Their portions for the price are easily 2x the places in north jersey.3. Their food is just better tasting than the other spots I've tried. The oxtail... Succulent and falling off the bone. “I enjoy driving long distances to try new food places specially family owned and I'm so glad I came across this hidden gem. I've been trying to find a good Jamaican food spot and I believe I finally found it. The quality of food was really good, fresh and delicious. The Mango Carrot juice I tried is so refreshing and reminds me of my childhood. The woman upfront was super helpful and explained everything that was available. “While searching for something different for dinner, came across D'Bay and realized that Jerk Chicken would really hit the spot. The reviews were good but had some questions about sides etc so I called the restaurant. The gentleman who picked up answered my questions and I really enjoyed talking with him. He told me what he had available (plenty of Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork, almost out of curry goat, enough for a small serving) and I placed my order with him. I drove over with my daughter, found there were two municipal lots on either end of the block he was on, so parking was easy. Ended up getting a large Jerk Chicken and a large Jerk Pork, both with rice n peas and mixed veg/cabbage and a small curry goat, with rice n peas and mix veg/cabbage. All the dishes also came with plantain. We also got a homemade sorrel juice, a homemade peach mango juice and two muffins (banana and carrot). The food was waiting there for us and the owner (the guy I spoke to on the phone) provided great customer service with a smile. I paid with cash ($58 for everything) and told him we would see him soon. The food was really tasty, with the large orders having enough for two meals. The banana muffin was good but the carrot muffin was really amazing. Overall a very good experience and we will definitely be back there again for more very tasty food.The two pics are Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. “This is a great place to eat. Vendors are friendly and food is really good. The j*** chicken was my favorite (really hot, yes!) and the rice is soft, well cooked. They also have a variety of salad mix. The potato salad was really good. I'm not a fish eater but even the seafood smell good. Price is reasonable, I think it's 9$ a pound but less money if the weight is less. It's definitely worth it.Vegetarian options: They have a variety of mixes for salad.“

“I have ordered both in the restaurant which is extremely small with no seating.I also had it delivered the food was well packaged.As it pertains to the food itself the food is well seasoned. The only dish I would state that needs a bit of a change is saltfish, and ackee whichwas a bit greasy and the dumplings needed to be fried a bit softer and needed a bit of seasoning. It is only on the breakfast menu, I would suggest to make this dish throughout the day.Otherwise, the food is great and I would highly recommend it.“
“Pay attention to the address… the store is located under train. So after walking in from the street I immediately was greeted. I ordered two large oxtails one with rice n peas the other with Callaloo. The plates were heavy !! The atmosphere doesn't look very inviting. It says: come in, get your food and get out. The place is dim and could use a face lift. The chicken was mediocre for me and this is the second time I've had it. Also it wasn't burnt but tough. Mac and cheese was not worth the calories. I remember my very first time going there it was my 2018 2nd Masters Graduation celebration.
