“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“The most delicious and nutritious food from their appetizers and samplers to the entrées and the scrumptious desserts. They are vegan, kosher and gluten free and they accommodate restrictions. We always have their Mediterranean sampler and their penne a la bolognese. We tried their pesto penne yesterday and it was so tasty! We also had their buffalo cauliflower wings for a lil kick! My Mother’s Day would not be complete without their chocolate cranberry tart! We also had their Turmeric Latte (coconut milk) to go. In the past we have also had their salads which are so fresh and flavorful! There is something for every palate. “EXCELLENT Vietnamese food. Best in the neighborhood and many more unique offerings than I see at most Vietnamese restaurants. I am very appreciative to the staff at Banh for being so kind and accommodating. I placed a delivery order through Square and there was an issue due to an error on Relay (the delivery app). It was not at all the fault of the restaurant but they still resent my order at no additional cost. They are wonderful!“

“Around 6:30 in the evening on weekdays, the store is almost full, business is pretty good, and the store also takes a lot of takeout orders.
The two of us ordered a bowl of mixed beef pho, a fried spring roll and a pork bun, and were very satisfied with everything. The fried spring rolls were very hot when they were freshly fried. They were crispy on the outside and filled with minced pork. They were delicious with the dipping sauce. There are three pork buns in a portion, and the fillings are crispy pork belly, pickled radish and sweet noodle sauce. This combination is unexpectedly harmonious and very satisfying. It is my favorite. The beef rice noodles contain beef tendons, beef slices and beef balls. There is not much meat but a lot of rice noodles. The soup is sweet and has a bit of Chinese medicine. It is just right for two people to share a bowl.“

This is a take out place only. Buy a banh mi walk a couple of blocks to Central Park and sit in the shade and enjoy.“
